Together we Stand!…

Have you see the film Happy Feet?

Did it not make you smile and laugh.. Well here is your chance to do a little dancing of your own, and help a few Penguins along the way and you don’t even have to move from your arm-chair… All you have to do is feel the beat of Nature in your heart and click your fingers and your mouse.

Something was on my mind last night.. I couldn’t sleep, So I wrote the poem below as I thought about the Antarctic Ocean under threat, I support Avaaz in many of their campaigns of human rights and environmental issues so I will just use their words here as “The whales and penguins can’t speak for themselves, so it’s up to us to defend them. Let’s change negotiators’ minds with a massive wave of public pressure — Avaaz will surround the meeting with hard-hitting ads, and together we’ll deliver our message to delegates via a deafening cry on social networks.”

So Lets apply the pressure!…

Synchronicity Set in Motion

How can I put into words a Feeling?

I’ve been quiet for a few days as I’ve been busy with various tasks… A knitting project half done, playing and cooking with my two year old granddaughter and catching up with course work for qualifications for work.

Besides going to work, I’ve been walking and in the garden along with just finding those quiet times to be at peace with myself..

I’ve been wanting to write a new post for a couple of days but you know how it is sometimes, you know you have a thousand things you would like to share and say, and yet nothing comes?.. Well  today was like that until a series of Synchronicities were set in motion..

1. I was searching among my poems to send one to my friend Cat Forsley’s  who has a wonderful site, when I came across a half finished poem.. with Cat’s encouragement I sat and finished it within 10 mins of her suggestion I do so… in the next 10 minutes I logged into another post which led to synchronicity 2.
2. While browsing the WP sites my friend Vision Keeper blogged a new post called “ Its been a Long Road “  which spoke about finding our inner joy and loving ourselves and being within that balance her words hit home as she said in answer to my response.

“It was really an ah ha moment for me when I finally realized how critical both Joy and Self Love were to the process of creating!!! It is why we have not been able to get further along on our road to freedom. The whole shebang begins with self love and if you don’t have it you don’t have joy and if you don’t have both you don’t create! Simple as that. Creation requires both to occur. We are getting it, we are putting it together and we will succeed very soon! Have a super weekend and be at peace within friend” 

• Synchronicity 3 was when I logged onto another wonderful post of Eddie Two Hawks  his post Clear Thinking .. as this confirmed my thoughts again …

So thank you to Cat, VK, and Eddie for your own inspiring posts which nudge me along to post the completed poem..

Peace is the Place I dwell 

Peace it the place I dwell..

Up in the mountains… casting a spell

Of tranquil bliss, where Eagles soar

Away from man’s roar..

Peace is the heart of natures Bliss

A rivers tears and dewdrop kiss

A leaf that floats across the sky

The smell of Earth, I ask her why

I feel her lonely heartbeat score…

I close my eyes……I feel Peace.. And More…

Peace is the quiet breath in early morn

When one opens your eyes to early dawn

When shadows no longer hold the dark

But when Peace is filled in Dawns red Heart..

Listen to the song of early light

When birds rise bringing their delight

Into a Day they worry not how to survive

But they Sing their joy as on wings they dive

Peace is the closed eyelids of a babies sleep

A mother’s love in whose arms she keeps

them tight and safe within slumbered dreams

I close my eyes…. I feel Peace … And More….

Peace is the sweep of artists brush

As colours create the mountain hush

As clouds roll by on heavens sky

Peace is the shooting star that falls from high

But the best of these is as you close your eyes

As you hear the silence of your inward sighs

Listen now to the Peace within

as your mind is emptied of cutter and din

For I close my eyes ….

I feel Peace….

And More……………………..

The Spirit of Autumn

I am back after giving myself some Breathing space for a couple of days.. I swapped the click of the mouse for a stroke of the paint brush. as you see from my artwork above..

Trees are the Lungs of the Earth, they give us oxygen-rich air which we all rely upon to breathe. And often we have forgotten just how to take in  those Deep breaths and relax..  Trees have always played a huge part in my life from growing up surrounded by them and later learning how to interact within their energy exchanges, I’m a big advocate of ‘Go Hug a Tree’..especially when you feel a little low of energy yourself.  

Trees are a living presence and I am sure many of you can sense their energy, you have only to go outside and listen to the stirrings of their voices as the leaves gently rustle in the breeze, or hear how they screech and moan as the wind whips through their branches in a storm.  They like our Mother Earth are givers and ask noting in return. They bring us shelter and warmth with their timber, shade from the Sun, fruits  and Nuts, and lets not forget their many healing properties.

Tree’s teach us the importance of renewal, as they shed their leaves and outer attachments as they go into their slumber of winter rest..

They teach us so many qualities and teach us stillness and contentment as well as learning how to stand strong within our roots..

So many places around our world Tree’s are being destroyed this always is heart breaking.. And if you are conscious of recycling as I am, I am sure you look to buy recycled paper and products, for we need to protect our life giving trees of our Mother Earth.

There are many Tree myths and legends and tree-lore preserved for us both in folksongs and folktales, which show us that our ancestors had a deeper relationship with Trees than we know of today..

It was once commonly known in most parts of the world that within the tree lay a living essence of a Spirit within it.. The Druids called them the “ The Many Eyed Ones” or “ Hooded Ones” and they believed they watched the comings and goings of the Human Race… When you consider how old some trees live to be, its no wonder,  as many live over 200 yrs and some 800 yrs plus,

Important meetings were held under trees, Kings were crowned, and Laws were passed, Marriages were held and at many a cross-roads Tree’s were planted as markers and boundaries at significant points on the land.

A Tree Spirit, or as they are know. a Dryad, can be understood as a huge energy field radiating outwards from each tree, It is said it can radiate out for several miles… During the growing season in Spring and Summer it is easier to make contact with a Dryad than in the Autumn or Winter as the energy drops down into the Earth for Renewal or so I’m informed… For me I just like to link into the Spirit of the Tree as I give thanks for their life giving oxygen and healing peace.. 

Its always good to go out and connect back into Nature and there is nothing like communicating with the Trees.. For those who have never done this you do not know what you are missing..

When walking out, feel which Tree you are drawn towards and then reach out with your mind and feel the Tree’s energy as you slowly approach it.. Open your hands and start to feel your fingers tingle… Stop and I always ask in my mind for permission to step closer, you may feel you need to walk around the tree in a circular fashion, See if you can feel the layers of energy the tree sends out..

Make contact placing your hands gently upon the bark and feel the pulse of energy surge upwards from its roots… ( this is better felt in the spring and summer months ) .. Feel yourself developing strong roots down into the earth like the tree and feel your strength grow as the tree gives you its own healing nourishment… Or sit with your spine against the trunk and connect by meditating with the tree to share with you some of its wisdom…

Nature has for us in her hands its gifts of healing, by being out-doors experiencing Nature, we can also find the  many healing properties found in Trees and Plants around our world as there are many cues for many ailments. 

Above  you see is the painting I did, It took four hours to paint, of which TIME just flew.. I painted in Acrylic’s on Canvas size 22cms by 30cms  I named this one ‘The Spirit of Autumn’

Unite our Fragmented Thoughts~ Become Warriors of Light.

I wrote this poem back in 2010 and some of you may have read this before. But today I am entering it again.

As a sensitive, I often feel vibrations in the air and pick up on energies.. That’s why I find it hard to watch Harrowing News items as it can affect my own energy levels, as I tend to send out Healing and unintentionally I deplete my own energy levels if I’m not careful 

We are so much more than Human Form, and there is so much more I want to share about this and our progress through the coming cycles of Changes, But today isn’t that day.

I may be silent for the next few days,  So I may take a while to approve your comments, I would ask that you look beyond that which you see, and seek out your own Inner Light, of Calmness and Balance. Much is happening within our world and we  all need now more than ever to unite our thoughts in love and kindness.. We need to bring our world back into balance through living once again through our HEARTS…Not judging or condemning. But by bringing the Care and Kindness back into our thoughts.   

All through our lives we seek Love and need to feel love, Now is the time we need to share Love, we need to share our HEARTS…with each other. 

In all of our Scriptures on Earth we find many guidelines to help us accomplish our Mission, for a mission is what we came to achieve. These rules were simply learning to obey the higher principles of the Goddess/God force and Life, your Higher Self.. And the main principle is to LOVE one another..

Within each of us is a spark of LIGHT which connects us to the Oneness our Creator This point of embodiment is the reason why we came to this planet, Its the life giving force of which we are All of us connected.

When we learn to connect to that Light within, as we experience through our senses, you will see that everything we experience in our Outer-world takes on a new meaning. .. When you discover for yourselves this truth exiting things begin to happen, Things thought to be coincidences take on a new meaning, and when you open your mind even further you then see you are indeed Co-creators, and you are the ones who has the power to change the world with your thoughts.. And Peace and Harmony will become the Norm, as we learn to shed the Fear of chaos and negativity.

We then can pull together the shattered pieces as they fall in a world that thinks itself as separate… We are far from separate …

We are One.. 

Fragmented Souls..

Shattered are the pieces as they fall

As fragmented souls scream and call

Can you not hear as they shout and plea

‘What is to become of me?’

~~~

Scattered to the winds I hear their minds

As each plea is for ‘Self’ to find

Peace so lost within tormented thought

As into the abyss of illusion they are caught

~~~

Fear takes their hearts, squeezing them dry

Leaving them hollow and too empty to cry

Tears turn to ice with hearts that grow cold

As sickness of greed comes to take hold

~~~

Like zombies they march along with the crowd

Will power forgotten and no longer proud

Their lights dimmed by possessions of wealth

Flickering flames in the wind of ill health

~~~

Fragments of Faith blown out with all creeds

Forgotten memories of simple needs

Ancient teachings swept away with the ark

A penitent symbol as we bow to the Dark

~~~

So gather your fragments to make a fight

Not to war, but be Warriors of Light.

Hold up your banners of love and truth,

Be an example to all our youth

~~~

It’s never too late to change but a thought

For your power is within you worry nought

Let in the Light and give as you receive..

As Warriors all we need do is breathe..

~~~

Allow each cell to open and mend

The Fragmented thoughts each of us send…

United we gather in strength across the land

As the power of LIGHT shall make its last stand.

Senseless Sickening Slaughter

My love of Elephants has spanned all my life, these wonderful family oriented beings hold much love and joy in my heart and only this past week I had enjoyed watching the antics of a family of elephants on the BBC’s documentary, one such documentary I found here in  The Secret Life of Elephants which was following the birth of a baby elephant and her family in Kenya’s Samburu Reserve.

I was debating what photo I should add to this post, as I did not wish to shock you but for you to get some idea of how heartbroken I felt over seeing an article on one of my fellow bloggers pages over at Learning From Dogs on his post entitled The Best and Worst of Mankind –the Worst. I hope you will visit Paul’s article in red above to see why I felt I had to write the following poem .. In the end I decided to post a painting I did in 2001 which I noticed I happen to have painted also in October.

I don’t know the answers to such cruelties in our world not only against our animal kingdom but to our children and each other except that I just had to vent out my feelings in a poem..And I hope that some day the Balance is once again restored to our wonderful Planet Earth and we seek Peace instead of the killing fields of Greed… 

Senseless and Sickening

Another headline of heart breaking gore
My heart was gutted and cut to the core
Of reading the senseless sickening campaign 
As marauders killed Elephants on the African Plains

~~~
Not a chance did they stand as they killed them with Gun
On horseback with missiles nowhere could they run
The prizes of ivory bloodied and Red 
As Whole families of Elephants are now laying dead

~~~
Ironic I read that the tusks are to be carved 
For Spiritual houses as sacred façades
I try to detach from our murderous Race
As my stomach does wrench in our Human Disgrace

~~~ 
We call ourselves Human when we’re far from humane
We butcher, abuse, we kill and we maim 
I try not to judge but my heart it does bleed 
For laws that are passed as some do as they please

~~~
No wonder this cycle is nearing its end
Too Warlike we Humans negative energies we send 
This World would be paradise had the humans not interfered 
With pollution and wars my eyes fill with tears

~~~ 

I pray to the spirits of those Magnificent herds 
And to all of the people for injustice incurred      
I pray to the Goddess of Gaia our home 
And each living creature on Earth that does roam

~~~ 
I’m sorry to be part of this Race that’s so cruel 
Where Man spreads his violence and dominant rule 
The Male Energies are ending as they cling to their Power 
Its time for the Feminine Compassionate showers…

To wash us all clean as the Earth she does cleanse 
Make ready your Hearts for we soon shall ascend..
