An Invitation to a Divine Mission-Possible.

My dear friend Linda over at Litebeing Chronicles   each November presents us with a challenge.. Linda asked me if I would help provide the artwork for her badge again this year.  Which I was pleased to supply, as her description of what she would like I had already painted a few years ago.

So all I needed to do was add the words of her challenge for this year and tweak it a little..

Linda’s post on this Mission can be found HERE   where you can go along and pick your date for November. It is a good way of meeting more Lite-BEings.. 🙂 and making new friends whose mission may well be similar to your own.. 

My own date is already picked out for the 26th of November.  So if you feel you have something you wish to contribute, here are a selection of points Linda is asking of us within our posts.

1 – Write about your spiritual mission here on Gaia. Are you a lightworker, Starseed, forerunner, Indigo, or none of the above? What have you incarnated to do or to be? Describe your mission and your journey to achieve it. Are you delighted to be here? There is no correct answer, by the way. Make it your own.

2- Pick a date and inform me here in the comments section.

3- Include ” Divine Mission-Possible blog challenge ” in the text and link back to this blog post.

4 Copy the blog badge and add it to your site.

A Note to my Friends

Hello my wonderful WordPress Family of friends..

I hope you are all having a wonderful Weekend.

I just wanted to let you know that over the next week all of my posts are  scheduled. While I taken some of my own advice and take a long overdue vacation. 

So I will not be moderating your comments until after the 4th May. During this time I have posted some more of the story from the Vision Quest. along with a post to celebrate May Day. Thank you for all of your love and support I will be catching you all up when I return.

In the mean time I will leave you with some of my favourite music.. And no prizes for guessing as to where we shall be going when you view the video..

A Love Note.. to my Friends..

 Love may be invisible ..but its strength is invincible.

I  dedicate this poem to all of my WordPress family.. I thank each and everyone of you who contribute here.. Your Love and Support means so very much to me..

I know some of you out there are experiencing your own particular upheavals in life right now, you all know who you are.. Remember that you are stronger than you think, and never forget to Love and Nurture yourselves. For we often put ourselves way down on the list, so make yourselves a priority for a change.

Choose to Love yourself a little more and Pamper yourselves in things which bring YOU Joy..

I am still Indulging in More ME time, so I thank all of you for your patience..  

  Valentines Day will be shortly upon us I thought I would share a poem I wrote in 2007..

lOVE BINDS 

The cords of love to each of us bind

Invisible and yet around us they twine

Holding us close and digging in deep

They curl round our heart, into our soul they seep.

~~

Some are stronger with love of the years

While others bring nothing but tears

Love can be like the gentle candle’s glow,

Or brutal with words that do sting with each blow.

~~

Some are so tender just like a first kiss

While others just melt as we reminisce.

Whatever your cords I’m sure you will find

Each hold’s a special place within your own mind.

~~

Some grow in strength while others pull apart.

But still the cords bind us, even when we depart.

Love is a cord to bind us to all

Each of us answers to her call.

~~

Some are forbidden like Eden’s first fruit

While some are flirtatious for giggles and cute.

But once in a while someone special comes along

And that’s when your cord note becomes a great song.

When filled with emotion your cord note does blend

In Love and Gratitude

Many of my blogging friends in the USA are celebrating Thanksgiving at this time of year. 

While only a few weeks ago other friends of Mine across the world were celebrating  Diwali,  the festival of Light, “Diwali is one of the largest and brightest festivals in India. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair”

We all of us Have much to be grateful for in our lives, and Mary over at Walking My Path really captured the meaning of Gratitude and  all the things to be grateful for in our lives in her Post  Giving Thanks  I hope you go and read.. 

 

May we all of us remember the many things we should be grateful for in our lives, as we also remember those who are not so fortunate as ourselves.  

May we start to open our Hearts to the gifts we already have.

And May we join our Hearts as ONE

As we send LOVE and PEACE out into the world..

Eternal Friendships

I have attempted several posts over the last few days with the Halloween Theme.. All of which I deleted after spending quite some time on them.. 

I thought I would look back within my archives for Inspiration, when I came across an old post from my Windows Live Space days before I transferred the whole of my blog over to WordPress

You know how it is, when you are guided, and then something feels right.. I shed a few tears re-reading my post and the poem I had written for my friend.. And wondered why had the Universe led me to it today of all days..

I didn’t have to think long.. Tomorrow is the November the 1st. and it was my friends Earth Birthday..

I just want to send ALL of my new found Blogging friends Love and Encouragement.. what ever life is throwing at you at the moment..  And Remember.

Life is Short, Break the Rules, Forgive Quickly, Kiss Passionately, Love Truly, and Laugh Constantly 

Below is the poem I wrote my friend she was 56 when she passed and she remarried when she was 55, knowing she had not long left for this earth..  They had a wonderful wedding in Hawaii and the following Poem is what I gave her, as I had nothing else but my heart to share.. I called it simply, Friends. 

Friends

I sit here and stare at a blank page,

Knowing that words will be given through my faithful sage.

Memories are such a wonderful gift,

And you’ve given me plenty, my life you’ve enriched.

~~

The shopping we’ve done, until our feet ache.

Laughing at the fashions that home we did not take.

Drooling over books and paintings, the expense!

Buying silly trinkets that didn’t make any sense

~~

Memories are such a wonderful gift,

And you’ve given me plenty, my life you’ve enriched.

Remember the Christmas Market and the wares that they sold,

Treasures to wrap up in your heart, to keep hold.

~~

Remember the old busker, a child’s xylophone he did play,

Three notes were his tune, smiling, he made our day.

The talks of serious, deep mystical things,

The ups and downs, the shared memory brings.

~~

A beautiful Japanese garden did a day we spend.

The books we have read and to each other lend.

How else could I not call you my friend!

Memories are such a wonderful gift,

And you’ve given me plenty, my heart you up lift.

The times you gently scolded me and my ways,

You are just as stubborn, slobbing away your days!

We can talk for hours and yet not say what’s in our heart,

Not wanting to admit to a day when we must part.

Tears fill my eyes, as these words to you I send,

But I know that for all eternity you will go on being my friend.

Remember the promise, we to each other made,

If we should ever want to return here, hit me with a spade.

Your journey is before me, but distance will not part,

As the memories that you give me are forever in my heart.

 

 

Today is the day we remember our Ancestors and those who have passed beyond the veil..

I just want to wish everyone who has commented and follows me a wonderful weekend. And to say my how time flies by. Today I got my alert from WP to say its now been 4 yrs since I transferred my whole blog from Windows Live Spaces. I first started blogging in 2007.

I am happy to say I have several firm friends who also started out life on WLS and who transferred their blogs when it closed. You all know who you are.. And I thank you for being within my Blogging World. Your continued friendship is a blessing. 

During my time as a blogger I have met the most wonderful friends here on WP from all corners of the world. You are the ones who have made my WordPress blogging experience what it is.. We really feel like family.. 

Thank you all of you who are regular visitors and commentors here. And not so long ago I was over the moon at having 500 followers I just looked in my side bar and it now stands at 598..  So to all of those who are recent subscribers I hope you find lots of topics to your interests here. And Welcome!. You can find more through the ages if you scroll down the right of the site to see Categories of  Subjects, and Posts throughout the years.. just click to open and click the year and month.

Word Press Family Award ~ Are you eligible ?

 

It is now 3 years since I transferred my Blog over to WordPress. My Anniversary Date being October 2nd,and during that time I have met the most wonderful people here at WP..  It has been a wonderful privilege in getting to know so many people from all walks of life around the world.  Among my oldest friends of whom I had known previously on Windows Live Spaces also transferred their blogs at around the same time, as Windows Spaces was closing its doors on our blogs,. These are Aussie Emu aka Ian, Eddie Two Hawks, Europa IceWolf  ^.^ Sweeties Space, Andro, Prenin, Sheila’s Space, Lady Jude Eclipse, Darkworks Entertainments, Pen Pusher  Kenny2dogs and others..

Now I know some of the above do not accept awards, and to be honest although its  a great honour to receive them, I am always at a loss as who I should choose to accept them, because I do not wish to offend other who are left out when I follow the rules, because all have become like Family here on WP who visit and comment upon my posts, I know how time consuming commenting on every post is, and I do appreciate them all greatly .

I  Know I too neglect some posts   but I do try to read as many that are delivered into my email box as if possible in the time I allow, as as my WP family,is forever increasing.. Over the last few weeks I have received several awards which I am getting around to Accepting, Which I thank those who thought to award me most kindly.
