Ravens and Dragons

Two souls within a crowded city, sit and ponder to unfurl

The way of people who rush around, in illusionary worlds.

Dreamers of another age, they sit on bench, in vision engage

Invisible to all who walk on by, their minds within another age.

~~

An age of Knights, and Ravens wings, when crest of honour were true

Finding lodgings now in a world of  make, mend, and do.

Wandering hearts and friends for life, whose blankets are the stars

No one stopping to ask how deeply go their scars.

~~

A life of walking through concrete and glass, they escape all that  the world enslaves

A Camelot Castle in cardboard built, to shelter in Merlin’s Cave

Their quest to venture and wander, in a land that never sleeps

Did it ever occur, just how many more have wandering feet?

~~

In a world of Progress, as the Earth cries her many showers

In a world of unseeing eyes, in their high raised towers

The two on bench, oblivious to all,  look above city blocks

As  the Raven Crows and  arches, as Beyond this realm they look

~~

Heaven smiles down, never missing a beat

As a Rainbow lake descends right before their seat

No crock of Gold, except for in hearts Raven’s Song

A Standard flying, showing  where the Rainbows Warriors Belong.

~~

Musing  in a world of both present and past

No longer  held prisoner within  high walls of glass

Dragons return no longer slain, fly  high in their new formed freedom

As two dreamers Dream, creating their own Magical Kingdom

The two images were a creation using PowerPoint to add the silhouettes and alter the the images digitally, A first for me.

The above poem  I wrote is an introduction to GallyBloggers~ Scarecrows One and All.

Some of my blogging friends already know Dewin. He introduced me to this collaboration of Raven’s 12 of which he is part.

GallyBloggers shares poems and thoughts written and shared on this site by the homeless upon the streets of the UK.

A plight so many are finding themselves in more and more on many shores around the globe.

Please be enthralled, enchanted and motivated, by the poetry written upon their blog. As I hope you go and support them .. None of us ever know when we ourselves will face Crisis in our lives .

Homelessness is on the increase, and within our own town I see many who are living on the streets.. So next time you pass by a homeless person, please do not just look the other way.. Each has a story, and there but for the Grace of our circumstances, we could all find ourselves in Crisis and Homeless.

Healing Ourselves, is Healing Our World.

Thank you friends, for your wonderful responses to my last post about What Energies we are Transmitting. It sparked off many conversations and revealed how many of us are feeling these vibrations right now. Which led to Leigh over at https://bluegrassnotes.wordpress.com to reblog my post.. Thank you Leigh..

While browsing posts Leigh had recently posted, I came across a video upon her post entitled  Hold the Loving Space   The video, as the lady clearly says may sound Woo Woo, but she echos my own thoughts and I know those of us who think along these same Woo woo waves, will readily agree, that what she says is possible.  That we turn around the negativity, and things are not as bad as they may seem.

Many who are ‘Light-workers’ are joining in unity and opening up themselves again to release negativity  as we open up our hearts to loving and nurturing ourselves, as we are  working in communications of sharing  thoughts  via their various arts.

We do that by going within, by opening up our hearts, by clearing out the yuck of our lives which we carry with us. Many are clearing out past trauma’s right now and are opening up old wounds to release them, letting them go and healing themselves in the process by forgiving others and learning to love and forgive themselves.

We help the world by healing and nurturing  ourselves, by Caring and Kindness and treating others as we would wish to be treated.

I do hope you watch the video in full, for in simple terms our Vibrations and Transmissions in what we give out will affect CHANGE..

Its up to us which vibration we embrace, is it LOVE or is it FEAR?

Is it any wonder that we are within the year of the Rooster.

Are we Listening to its WAKE UP CALL?

Wishing you all a Very Happy Weekend..

Shine Your Light

Photobucket

Sometimes I think we need a reminder of how good we have it compared with others around the World. Yesterday I re-read my annual thank you letter from the

Red Cross and also Save the Children as they showed me just where our donations had gone last year and the projects and people they had both helped.

We often get so caught up in our snug little worlds as we sometimes seldom take a look outside of our own four walls at the plight others find themselves in.

The poem I am about to post I wrote in the middle of last night as I couldn’t sleep, maybe as the images of those less fortunate than myself were whirling around my head..

The poem was obviously inspired as the pen never left the page and I didn’t pause for a seconds thought as the words wrote themselves..

So I would like to share my light with you..

Shine Your Light.

From time to time along our way

We need to speak and have our say

In order that the lights do shine

Other people we need to remind.

Of all the folk whose lights are dim

Where struggle is hard and life is grim

They need to see beyond their walls

That many more in darkness toils.

The little beggar boy on street

In India who has no feet.

In Africa where wars still rage

And children starve with wide eyed gaze.

Where hope is lost and villages run

From evil men with drugs and guns

Yes time to time along the way

We need to speak and have our say.

Of Shanty towns and orphan waifs

The suffering is endless case by case.

I could go on and list some more

But maybe you would shut the door

As in your bubble you nicely live

You need to see you need to give.

If not your money then add your light

Open your hearts and see their plights

Look further than the end of your nose

And my words will count as poem I pose

If just one who reads my lines

Opens your heart to let it shine…

Upon all those who are less fortunate than you

Your light will brighten the Worlds dim view

So dare to step outside your walls

And lift the darkness from serpent coils

Compassionate thoughts will add their swell

So come on give generously

Open your hearts see what I see

For when enough of us really awake

A better land then awaits

Where all are one and all are free

All I ask is

Shine your Light

With me.

When you focus on your Dreams~Anything is Possible.

How can I put into words just how you’ve made me feel?

That you brought into prospective my life and all that’s real

You’ve shown me with your courage, your stamina and true grit

With a will as strong as iron that you are not prepared to quit

~~

Despite the odds against you and the challenges you’ve faced

When you focus on your dreams, we each can win our race

We who cheer you on, see only the final score

We see not the tears and pain your story held before

~~

You’ve trained so hard, achieved so much, obstacles you’ve overcome

Each of you are winners even if medals were not won

I’m humbled by your wit, your charisma and your charm

You’ve shown me and abled bodied, just how disabled it is WE are.

 ~Sue~

The above poem I wrote last evening after watching the closing ceremony Each evening over the last couple of weeks, I have been inspired and humbled at how these wonderful Paralympians have faced their disabilities and turned them into amazing achievements.

It has been my utmost privilege to cheer them on from the comfort of my armchair to see how their attitude of mind, determination and courage to overcome what to many of us would seem the end of our world.

Yet despite all they have been through, they have put themselves through gruelling regimes of training schedules for the past few years to enable themselves to be picked to compete for their various countries.

Thank you for your inspiration, I am truly proud of each and every one of you who took part and all of those who behind the scenes made it possible..

But most of all..

For You who said YES I CAN and who made your Dreams come true.

Congratulations to ALL who took part around the World.

And Well Done Team GB.

Harvesting Goodness

Harvest time is upon us as we reap from our gardens what we have sown. It’s wonderful to see something that you planted from a tiny seed that grows and matures to a full-grown crop.

And haven’t you ever just stopped to think for a moment about those seeds. Just how miraculous they are. Each seed so tiny, yet they know exactly how to grow. Each tiny cell splitting off to become a leaf, petal or fruit. Just as our human cells know which cells form toes and teeth.

Each plant perhaps relying on natures helping hand as the bees pollinate creating new seeds for next year’s seasons

Our Apples

Our Apples

Apples all 5 of them

Apples all 5 of them Smiles

I have so enjoyed this Summer. It started out life here in the UK as being one of the wettest June’s for a long while. It was very cool to start with. Yet despite the cold start Nature catches up. And even though our sweetcorn took 3 attempts to sow this year it too caught up and now we are harvesting the ripe corn cobs

Life is a little like planting. We get to harvest what we have sown.

I came across a wonderful post from Erika today whose own post was about the seeds we sow in Life.. in her post here entitled  The Challenge of Growth

How true too about those seeds as Erika  describes them to break down and collapse before they open and bring forth their new growth. I invite you to go read her excellent thoughts on how we ourselves grow through our challenges.

Corn tastle gone to seed Not all can mature perfectly.

Corn gone to seed Not all can mature perfectly.

As I view the world today I see many of our old ways now collapsing, they have to if we are to change.

Everything comes in cycles, Day follows Night, Seasons Change. We look back through history and see how our world has gone through its different ages. It seems we are now in the technological age. One at the moment I seem to in conflict with, big smiles as it seems me and technology are not getting on as well of late.

Not everything in our garden’s can be rosy all the time and in full bloom. But with Love and attention to what is important in our lives as we give our attention to the things which matter. We then reap that which we sow

Begonias in tubs large and small in our front garden.

Begonias in tubs large and small in our front garden.

I ask myself why is that me and techology seem in conflict right now – Could it be the Universe is wanting my attention elsewhere?   I have got much thinking to do at the moment and choices to make.  But I know what ever choice I make, it will be Ok, for there are no right or wrong roads, for all roads lead us to our destinations. It’s just sometimes we can detour off the path and for some they can become lost amid the jungle of choices that in this digital age can distract us from the true seeds we need to sow. Which often are the most basic.

To Care and Share.

We may have forgotten some of  the things that really matter in our lives. As the distractions of this material world have never been greater as they grab our attention and steel our energies and lower our vibrations.

I invite all of you who may be feeling of a low ebb and stressed out with the world right now to reconnect with your inner seed. The one that beats life into you day in and day out. Go into the HEART of Nature and start to listen to your own Heart.

It is patiently waiting for you to understand that all you need do for it to grow and expand to the Light, is for you to nurture it with the best nutrient ever given to man.

LOVE!

Smiling among the Dahlia's.

Smiling among the Dahlia’s.

Sending you huge armfuls of flowers filled with love and gratitude..

Set Yourself Free..

This morning I switched on the radio and the first record I heard was this one.. It was the very first time I had listened to this recording, never hearing it before.. It made me smile.. Especially when it mentioned taking Calcium and taking care of our knees..  So I decided to YouTube it to listen to again and to my delight found several versions..

Life has been busy within the Dreamwalker’s Domain this last week.. Last night I was so tired I went to bed at 7pm and slept for 12 hours.

Today the Universe thought to allow me to cool  down in the showers of rain,  so I thought I would share about my Busy time in the Sun on my Gardening Blog. And to share what brought such a smile to my face first thing this morning..

I particularly enjoyed the lyrics in the middle of this narrative of the inclusion of Rozalla’s Song Everybody’s Free to Feel Good, which is an old favourite of mine..

So Go On FEEL GOOD and DANCE.. LAUGH and SING..

And SHARE THE FEEL GOOD FACTOR

Sending Love and Blessings

Next time I will share with you the village I grew up in as we went  back to see the Well Dressings.. Along with some of my thoughts..

Sue

Many Thanks to you ALL.

My Dear WordPress family,

Thank you for your tremendous support and welcome back, after my absence. And I so thank you for all of your contributions which you make to this blog with your encouraging comments and visits..

It is you that keeps me blogging and it is you that makes this blog what it has become today.. So thank you, all of you.

This last week has been a little hectic as I try to condense time into manageable  ‘Bites’  as I flit through your blogs as I attempt to catch up.. And how frustrated I became when pages wouldn’t load and my computer kept freezing. Another Lesson the Universe thought to teach me.

Most all of you know how I love my garden.. And being outdoors. And this next week there are lots of things yet to get sorted in the allotments as well as my home garden. I need this connection with our Earth Mother, for it she that breathes life into my lungs, and heals me. So I need to spend lots more time working her soil and tending her plants.

I am working my way down the list of those I have not yet called in on since my  vacation. But this is taking extra time due to the still reoccurring page freezes that are happening less but still occurring. But this is taking time, as I love reading your posts and love commenting upon them…

You can see what my Hubby and I have been up to since our return on my Garden Blog, which has sadly got very neglected also.

To see what We have been doing is but One click away HERE and it is in Picture format for easy viewing.  So I hope you can see what time has to be spent in preparing such a huge plot of land for growing food.

Thank you all of you for reading and

Have a wonderful week..

Love and Blessings

Sue

Sacred Jewels

Rainbow Angel.. Some of my more abstract art

Rainbow Angel.. Some of my more abstract art

Sacred Jewels

Tell me as I sit here and ponder life’s rules

What is the most sacred of precious jewels?

Which gem of green, yellow and red?

Would you chose to adorn your head

 diamond-heart

Would it be Ruby- rich and deep?

Or maybe its Topaz yellow you seek

Emeralds and diamonds sparkling lure

Or could it be gold of carat pure

 diamond-heart

Treasures of wealth mankind doth chase

Trampling over each other –a greedy race

To line one’s pocket with all his fill

He borrows and steals and some even kill

 diamond-heart

All of the plunder of Earthly Treasure

So some can sit and lap up their pleasure

Tell me as I sit here and ponder life’s rules

What is the most sacred of precious jewels?

 diamond-heart

Could it be the Cry of a new babe born?

Or maybe it’s the sunrise of tomorrows new dawn

What if the rules were about to be re-written

Whereby all the things man thought important in life

Were swept aside,

Gone

What Strife!

 diamond-heart

What if tomorrow all you had were gone?

Tell me, how would you feel?

What’s to be done?

I will show you how that must feel

Come with me to the African Fields!!

 diamond-heart

So tell me as you ponder life’s rules

What is the most sacred of precious jewels?
