Growing Season Within & Without

Hello again to those of you who bare with me through these times of shifts and changes. So much is happening within our world, both within a consciousness level, and within our own personal lives. In which so many lives have been tipped upside down within this Upside Down World.

We each have had to learn to navigate through these changes and shifting energies as best we can. And while the outer world is plunged within the fear, I have for the most part been able to ground myself within the growing season of planting and tending our large allotment plot. As well as connecting back within, to the things my heart is guiding me to, such as my painting and crafts.

Like any one who starts out creating a garden, you have to put in the hard heavy ground work… We have to dig and overturn the Earth. The soil needs to be fed nutrients. And we need to plan our crop rotation. So as not to take too much out of the soil, and learn what crops give back the nutrients into the earth.. We learn what crops grow in harmony together, and what plants to mingle within them, to offset damage due to aphids etc. And we mustn’t be afraid of getting our hands dirty, learning what to keep and what to discard, or that we get aches and pains within our bodies through all the efforts we put in. Gardening teaches us many things, and while we have many successes, we also can expect some disappointments. Not all gardening is a bed of roses. Such is Life

Navigating Life means we also have tend our inner garden, in preparing our Inner world. As we reconnect with our Hearts. As we strengthen our connections with those around us, as we use our discernment, our compassion and our awareness. Along with our love and our common-sense of reasoning via our internal compass using our in-built gifts of Intuition! We learn to separate from our Heads of our indoctrinated teachings, back into our Hearts, which connects us back to Source. This is always difficult because of our ingrained thought patterns, we have to be prepared to view life from alternative perspectives. As we learn to let go of our Ego minds to be right.

The world is going through some of its own heavy turmoil right now, as we Unearth the Truth of our Reality. People are digging and weeding out their own information, and having to learn to navigate and separate the disinformation from the truth….. The Wheat from the Chaff When you plant your seeds, be it of what ever variety, you have to be patient… You plant them in the dark, cover them with Earth, and you wait… If you neglect the seeds, and don’t water them, then they perish , if you over water them, that too can cause them to rot.. So learning Discernment is vital, for what we focus upon is what we create.

We need to tend to our thoughts right now, and weed out that which we do not wish to create, and only cultivate the thoughts we wish to manifest within our New Earth

The world reflects back to us all the time what we are manifesting. And if our roots are not strong or we neglect to nurture ourselves, we become overwhelmed by the weeds within society which for the most part, not all, for some weeds are useful. But many can choke out and overtake that which is wholesome and good.

A good gardener knows patience. My fruit trees have taken several years to bare fruit. And this year I thought with all the blossom we would have a good crop of apples. But they are covered in leaf mildew, such has been the weather. You have to take the good with the bad. We grow organic, so we don’t use any chemicals. I mixed up a spray from natural ingredients. We wait and see if this has helped. Patience is at the core of any gardener. This year here in the UK we certainly have been pushed way beyond our Patience Barriers and people have had to adapt. And Humanity is going to have to adapt within these coming changes and shifts. For many as yet do not foresee the challenges yet to come. So we have to hold steady in the belief of our future New Earth and what we wish that to look like..

So we need to harness those visions of how we can change ourselves and the world for the better, not focusing on what is always wrong with it.. But pulling upon our strengths not our weaknesses, looking for new ways in which we can unify and heal, and work in cooperation with each other instead of competition. Just like when you plan your garden, you hold a vision of what the end process will look like… You see your crops delivering a good harvest.. You see your flowers and shrubs in full bloom, as you plan how your garden will look once it is mature.

And although your garden will hold many different varieties, of flowers, each plant is unique. Just as we are. You will learn what plants thrive in shade or direct sunlight. They care not what labels WE give them. All, if nurtured correctly should thrive, given their roots are firm in a well tended environment and they have enough light, water and nutrients, specific to their needs.. We have much to learn from our Gardens, and while many plants have many fancy Latin names, they all belong to the Mother Earth. As we Humans do, We All have our needs..

It matters not what labels we give ourselves or others.. We are ONE family, The Human Race. We need to understand the importance once again of being Grounded within Mother Earth instead of giving each other labels and pointing out our differences. For this is how we are kept separated. We have to find our commonalities. Rediscovering our communities, and our inner wisdom. When you look at nature, each and everything is unique. We now have a unique opportunity in which we all can grow through these bitter sweet times. As we grow from the Inside Out!

Within our world there is always going to be the Bitter and the Sweet!

Bitter to Sweet!

And when the world finally wakes, there are going to many bitter pills to swallow. In that we trusted those whom we thought had our best interests at heart. When the seeds so many tried to sow, to show the world the truth of their understanding, which was censored and thrown out, like weeds on the rubbish heap. So many are going to need our help.

We who hold within our being, the conscious Light of Knowing. For it is then the Lightworkers will be needed to heal, to bridge the wounds, as we connect with each other around the globe to unify in our common purpose of why we incarnated at this time in our Earth’s Evolution. We then will need to rely upon each other more than ever and learn new skills, not only in new ways of living in harmony within a community, as we adapt to the changes to come. But as we rediscover just who we are and our inner abilities which stand us apart as Human Beings. As we rediscover our connections back within Mother Nature.

The Seeds of Knowledge  come to us in many ways, just like our jigsaw pieces making little sense on their own.. But when we plant nurture and tend them they grow and flourish.

We are all seeds….. Each of us upon our own journey each of us appearing as separate, and yet we are all of us linked together.

It is now time to gather together and spread out our own seeds of love compassion and understanding, and sow them and nurture them. For our Earth and our Brothers and Sisters around this Earth need to feel that love.. We really do now need to start and visualise and live from our hearts as to what type of world we want to live… It is as simple as learning to live from your Heart.

We are Many, Each a separate head, but each connected to the same Heart and Root. Which is LOVE.

Love and Blessings to you All

Following the Flow

Arriving back from my vacation can often feel like a shock to the system, as we adjust back into the realm of being busy, as our days of relaxation are soon over.

Having had time away in beautiful Scotland, when I arrived home, the weather in England had been exceptionally warm, and therefore everything in the garden had bloomed, including the weeds.  So, among our first tasks was to set too and water and weed and sow seeds that still needed to be sown and plant out things which had been in the cold-frame which were ready for the allotment.

This was what it was like when we left this piece at the end of April before my holiday.

Sometimes things have to take a backseat and it happened to be my blogs this time that were pending.  So, apologies for those of you who still await my replies to your generous comments on my last post. I am hoping to get around to responding shortly to all, and have made a start.

This is how the weeds had grown in a couple of weeks, and the rest of the allotments were the same.

But sometimes we just have to follow the flow, and for the moment, I need to pour my attention into planting and sowing for the moment.

The older we get the more effort it takes and sometimes I am just too tired to do anything else other than stare into space and enjoy the solitude and quiet space as I empty my head which we all of us need after spending time hoeing and weeding between beetroot and parsnips seedling. So in the afternoons I have been meditating and sleeping, rejuvenating and going within the flow of Now.

This view looks down to the sheds and there is more of the plot behind the sheds, which gives you the scale of our plot.

Please know that I will get around to your comments and eventually your blogs, but for now I need to honour my body as I find all I want to do is sleep.  So, I am Just going with the flow as I get caught up with what needs doing in our home and our allotments.

Fruit bushes now weeded between since this photo.

Have a beautiful weekend and remember. ENJOY THE NOW OF YOUR MOMENTS, for we take so very much our Now Moments for granted.

Love and Blessings and hope to be back to normal blogging very soon.

A Weekend in Healing Earth

Hello  my lovely friends.. This is the time of year that I spend more of my time getting my fingernails dirty in our Earth Mothers rich soil.  Now the milder and better weather is here, I am to be found more in my Allotments than I am here within the blogsphere of WordPress..

Peacock butterfly in our allotments

So I hope you will all have patience if I take more time visiting or replying to your most welcome comments..

To see what we have been doing the last couple of days.. There are some pictures within my  Garden Blog Link

Have a Wonderful Sunday and a Beautiful Week

Harvesting Goodness

Harvest time is upon us as we reap from our gardens what we have sown. It’s wonderful to see something that you planted from a tiny seed that grows and matures to a full-grown crop.

And haven’t you ever just stopped to think for a moment about those seeds. Just how miraculous they are. Each seed so tiny, yet they know exactly how to grow. Each tiny cell splitting off to become a leaf, petal or fruit. Just as our human cells know which cells form toes and teeth.

Each plant perhaps relying on natures helping hand as the bees pollinate creating new seeds for next year’s seasons

Our Apples

Our Apples

Apples all 5 of them

Apples all 5 of them Smiles

I have so enjoyed this Summer. It started out life here in the UK as being one of the wettest June’s for a long while. It was very cool to start with. Yet despite the cold start Nature catches up. And even though our sweetcorn took 3 attempts to sow this year it too caught up and now we are harvesting the ripe corn cobs

Life is a little like planting. We get to harvest what we have sown.

I came across a wonderful post from Erika today whose own post was about the seeds we sow in Life.. in her post here entitled  The Challenge of Growth

How true too about those seeds as Erika  describes them to break down and collapse before they open and bring forth their new growth. I invite you to go read her excellent thoughts on how we ourselves grow through our challenges.

Corn tastle gone to seed Not all can mature perfectly.

Corn gone to seed Not all can mature perfectly.

As I view the world today I see many of our old ways now collapsing, they have to if we are to change.

Everything comes in cycles, Day follows Night, Seasons Change. We look back through history and see how our world has gone through its different ages. It seems we are now in the technological age. One at the moment I seem to in conflict with, big smiles as it seems me and technology are not getting on as well of late.

Not everything in our garden’s can be rosy all the time and in full bloom. But with Love and attention to what is important in our lives as we give our attention to the things which matter. We then reap that which we sow

Begonias in tubs large and small in our front garden.

Begonias in tubs large and small in our front garden.

I ask myself why is that me and techology seem in conflict right now – Could it be the Universe is wanting my attention elsewhere?   I have got much thinking to do at the moment and choices to make.  But I know what ever choice I make, it will be Ok, for there are no right or wrong roads, for all roads lead us to our destinations. It’s just sometimes we can detour off the path and for some they can become lost amid the jungle of choices that in this digital age can distract us from the true seeds we need to sow. Which often are the most basic.

To Care and Share.

We may have forgotten some of  the things that really matter in our lives. As the distractions of this material world have never been greater as they grab our attention and steel our energies and lower our vibrations.

I invite all of you who may be feeling of a low ebb and stressed out with the world right now to reconnect with your inner seed. The one that beats life into you day in and day out. Go into the HEART of Nature and start to listen to your own Heart.

It is patiently waiting for you to understand that all you need do for it to grow and expand to the Light, is for you to nurture it with the best nutrient ever given to man.

LOVE!

Switch Off! And Tune into Self!

I’m not hooked into T.V. soaps with Drama’s surreal

And I try to detach from the Media’s Squeal

I’m not attached at the hip to my Mobile Device

Like some who walk, looking up once or twice

Tranquil Corner of my garden

Tranquil Corner of my garden

I know too well all the pain some go through

And I’ve added my tears like the rest of you

I’m not helping the world if I wallow in gloom

So instead I create to help my world bloom

Seeds

Seeds and allotment plan

I plant and I sow and reap what I give

Sharing and caring is how we should live

If we see all the horrors of violence and greed

Maybe it’s because our attention is focused on these

Planted with Love

Planted with Love

If we planted more Kindness instead of mistrust

And put people first before the possessions we lust

Appreciate the NOW, and Let go of FEAR

Stop judging each other, and hold ALL life dear

Preparing the greenhouse ready for planting

Preparing the greenhouse ready for planting

Instead we’re conditioned by the Ads and the Apps

To purchase- Things- as in debt more collapse

A virtual world, we are hooked and controlled

Another statistic, we’re boxed in as we scroll

Spring Bulbs opening to the Sun

Spring Bulbs opening to the Sun

So if I go missing from time to time

It’s because I’m enjoying this life of mine

So go on now, look up, and switch off your Device

And Embrace your loved ones and start living-Life!

Nature does Her Thing.

“What a joy it is to feel the soft, springy earth under my feet once more,
to follow grassy roads that lead to ferny brooks
where I can bathe my fingers in a cataract of rippling notes,
or to clamber over a stone wall into green fields that
tumble and roll and climb in riotous gladness! “

 Helen Keller

Remember last Autumn when the old compost heap on the allotment looked like this?

At the Back of the shed the old rubbish heap is going to be levelled. This is where we intend to grow our Butternut squash next year. As the allotment next to us just put his squash on old soil and left them.. They were 3 sizes bigger than ours.. So here they will have room to spread out to their hearts content :-)

Then Hubby got to work and started to dig. First digging the rectangle bed out which I was going to set flowers in and my apple trees in.

Dug over Rubbish heap

He then dug out the compost heap and levelled it  using the old stone boarders from our front garden.

If I had wanted these nasturtiums to grow through the top of this broken old fire onion chimney they most likely wouldn’t have.. But just look at the transformation of the old compost heap..  You now see the new  overflowing compost heap contained behind the abundant Squashes and Courgettes.

Well now it looks like this.

Some times you just have to let Nature do her Thing.

Picture Update~ Grow your Own

Hello my patient fellow bloggers.. I am currently over this weekend working my way around to those who have left me such thoughtful responses over the last few weeks..  As I endeavour to catch up with many of your posts..

How is your Summer going?

Mine has been very productive as well as restful in-between gardening, I have been resting, reading, oh and I finished off a knitting project also. And of course I have been keeping my eye on the ball in Wimbledon as the Tennis Season is in full swing.

I am learning to self Nurture!

I knitted this little Bolero too which is for a 3 to 6 mth old. It didn't take long to make.

Oh and remember our little friend who came to visit and then disappeared some time ago.. Well he was back today. I managed to sneak up on him the second time.. The first time I saw him I walked right under the hanging nut feeder this morning as its positioned under an arch of trees where he was doing his balancing act .. I glanced up and I do not know who jumped first, me or the mouse.. As he jumped back into the conifer hedge. 🙂 I waited a while and he came out again. This time I crept up and he tolerated me and I snapped this picture  until I got too close  then he disappeared again into the hedge.

He was as curious about me as I was about him.

He was as curious about me as I was about him. My little friend is back

Have a wonderful weekend all of you.

Blessings

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
