Creation! ~In Motion

We set our our Blue Prints.

We set out our Blue Prints.

Creation ~  in Motion..

We are born with amnesia, forgetting details of that which were before. We follow the outlines of that which is laid down for us to follow via our parents, traditions and our ancestors.

Layer upon layer we build our form- through aeons our memories remembered then forgotten as we merge, blend and moulding ourselves via our cultured beliefs. Conforming within the boundaries of Fearfulness.

Cat Pose the base lines

As we begin to build through layers upon layers

Down through the ages we mix the pigments, fragments of dust that layer our perceptions, beliefs, ideas which outline the parameters of our reality. Creating altered Ego of self within the duality of our existence.

Cat pastel starting out

Empty hollows, we often do not see that which stares us in the face.

Layering, hiding that which was. Disguising our mistakes, creating that which we imagined as truth. Seeds of Knowledge scatted, extracted, altering codes within our true selves. Experimenting, sabotaging DNA structures of Genius.

Standing Cat

Light and shade are both needed within the mix

We plunged deeper, not seeing, Eyes and hearts empty, void, forgotten vessels only. Corrupted by desire, pleasure seeking, senses aroused. We forgot our creation was unique for our progression. So we add yet more layers of colour in our attempts at disguise who we are.

Wise Cat

Life is given and held within the Light  of our Seeing..

Each hue a subtle blend adding both light and dark to the mix. We travel back and forth across the Page of Life and Death, each stroke adding richness. Yet each incarnation etching deeper into the page of memories of that which cannot be undone, only healed. As each cycle completes its present course we seemingly become stuck within the lures of our own making.

Cat Pose Completed

It is said a Cat has 9 lives, Have you ever wondered how many you have lived?

Only after many life times and much learning that shapes our skills through patience and perseverance do we develop those gifts that we possessed all along. For they were there from our conception, but we just couldn’t ‘See’ them for our Eyes were empty, blinded to the truth..

Our Eyes are now opening to the Light that is igniting the sparks of memory within which brings us to life. As we Re-awaken to all we are and ever have been within our Spiritual Creation of Oneness…

Sleepy Cat

Another creation, I did not see the heart shape until later.. Now is the Time to open our Hearts

The Future Generations Learning and growing from our examples..

May we each learn to spread the Light and Wisdom to our younger generation and May we pass on the Wisdom we ourselves have learnt..

Are There Fairies At The Bottom of Your Garden?

We had our Granddaughter stop over, and we spent a wonderful day doing many things, but I had promised her she could help paint a small birdhouse. The birdhouse had been on the wall for over two year waiting for it to be taken over as a nesting site.. As there were still no takers this year, I asked my Husband to take it down as I had other plans for it.

We set to with paint and brushes while my granddaughter gave it white walls and a green roof.  She wanted a Fairy House

Enjoying Painting.

We did many other things too, such as go and buy some new fish for the tropical tank and outside pond. Which she supervised to ensure they settled into their new homes. We played Fairy Princesses and hide and seek among many other things.

Grandma got busy in-between other chores to paint the windows and door and put a coat of varnish on it over the next couple of wet days .

So after the rainy weather and wind had died down Grandma got busy outside and this is the result

Everything looks tickety-boo

And I am sure she will soon settle into her new home

I hope you enjoyed meeting the Fairy at the bottom of our garden.. And should you wish to see how the Veggies are growing in the allotments.. Then Press this link HERE to take you to the allotment photo’s all is now nearly set.. And growing nicely.

Oh and I saw my little Wood-mouse this morning sat on the bird feeder eating grain.. He paused as I paused, 🙂 as he stuffed his mouth , we both looked at each other for a second then he scurried back into the wood pile.. 🙂  Lovely to see him/her again.

I hope you are all having a Fantastic Week..

Enjoy Life and Live it well and be good to one another!

Now for Something Completely Different

Before Christmas my hubby had a clear out in the garage.. Now this in itself was well overdue.. But this overhaul led to him finding a few things which had been buried for few years.. Among other things he re-discovered he had a staple gun.. with a new box of staples..

Later that week he had cause to go up into the loft.. Mainly as I wanted the Christmas Decorations relocating.. So as he moved this and that up there, he also came across several large pieces of fabric neatly folded in plastic bags.. He had been given this maybe 10 years ago, as a lady who was into Interior designing.. She was throwing the fabric away, and so Hubby asked could he keep it.. ( as he knew I would probably find some use for it one day.. as I had 30 years  in the textile industry )

But it got stored and forgotten..

Now over the last few years as my Granddaughter has grown Now 4 years of age.. And as she climbs upon our dinning chairs sometimes with buckles on her shoes.. the fabric on our chairs got pulled and scuffed..

Soooo… We put these two finds together and Below are the results..

Old Chair.

Chair before we started

Pulling Old chair to pieces

Chair taken apart

Taking the old seat apart so I could get the right shape to cut out fabric

Taking old covering off

Next I used some clear plastic so I could line up each piece to cut out exactly the same fabric pattern to repeat on all of our four chairs..

Laid template onto fabric so that each one had same pattern in fabric

The fabric is a thick cotton weave print.

So I cut out Four bottom cushions matching pattern.. Then I Cut out 8 pieces for the backs of the chairs.. These had to be sewn the shape of the backs turned through and then I just slotted the old backs into the new sleeves….

Hubby was needed to hold the backs as I had to sew the tops closed close to the edge but leaving a lip to slot into the top back staves… Each one had to fit tight, so there was lots of pushing and pulling to get them fitted snug.. Sorry the below photo is a little blurred.

I cut out matching fronts and back and then sewn them so old back could slide in like a sleeve

Close up of back

Hubby I don’t think trusted me with the powerful staple gun,, so as I stretched the fabric to fit the bottom cushions he stapled into position.

Here was the first finished Chair..

Completed chair

And the completed set..

Chairs now completed

Cost… Zero!..

And we have a different fabric for our next project.. We have two old chairs in the loft.. SO…. watch this Space!

Over and Through~ We Weave..

So this is what I have been busy creating over the past few weeks, I have been busy Knitting some gifts.. I finished the Shawl .

In-Over- Through-Off!

The set complete.

And also I have started to knit something for myself.. I hope I will have finished for Christmas a gift to myself.

Something for myself

And Remember we all of are creating with our Threads of Life every day as we go Into our day, we may have to Overcome many obstacles as we go through our life’s lessons.. One day we are all of us getting Off this Planet, So Weave your Life’s Blankets well.. Every stitch Counts!

Weaving

We weave the threads in our Tapestry

With colours we mingle and blend

Creating a picture, that mystery of Life,

That we dream will never end.

In and over obstacles, weaving on the loom

Threads of memories of spangled Stars

Emotions Tides of silver Moon

Flying back in time we speed

Embracing Light from darkened minds

A memory of long ago when all was right

When we All held Light

Now as the loom of life we spin

We always fight, we want to win

As in and out the greed does grab

And turns the cloth to make it drab.

Oh how we weave the web of life

We chose the colours, our joys and strife

Dream weaver I am not, and yet

I walk with hope, and send out prayer

And Dream we do not let the fabric tare

The Balance of the weave must neatly fold

For in our history it is foretold

What we do unto the web we spin

We create our lives therein..

Creative Captures.. Happy Halloween Everyone

You would think that Retirement would lend itself to giving you more time . Yet as my Hubby said when upon retiring several years ago he wondered how he had found time to go to work?.

Life in the Dreamwalker household has been busy busy to say the least since I took the plunge and retired.. I still have lots of catching up  to do with your beautiful blogs . And for all those who have taken the time to visit my posts I am in the process of returning your kindness..  But for now I will leave you with a flavour of what I have been up to mostly  in picture format.

So along with alterations around our home, we have been putting the home garden to bed for winter and sorting out the allotments. Hubby moved a row of raspberry shrubs as we learn by our mistakes as they grew I got nicely tangled in their tendrils.. So more  space has been created between them and a support made for the Logan Berries..

Before

I have also been busy in the evenings as those darker nights draw in. I am in the process of Knitting a Baby shawl which I was requested to knit. I have about another 15cms to go then it will measure  a metre in length.. I then have to knit a boarder which will then be sewn all the way around it.. So still a ways to finish.

And Lastly.. wishing you ALL a HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Below is my Granddaughter who over her last few visits has been busy with me Baking and tasting

Harvesting the Sun.

Sunflowers from our Garden

Sunflowers from our Garden

“There are painters who transform the sun to a yellow spot, but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform a yellow spot into sun”

Pablo Picasso

I promised I would share a little of what I have been up to over last month.. I have enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, preserving, and reading, several books  in the lazy warmth of Summer’s Sun as it winds down to the cooler days of Autumn..

I just want to add how you all also bring your warmth and glow of Sunshine to my day.. Some I have yet still to catch up.. others I have already said hello to.. And I wish to welcome all the new subscribers who have clicked the follow button.. I hope you enjoy browsing among my posts..

So below in picture format is what I have been up to.

I hope to add the recipes I used to my Home cooking pages soon..

Swirl and Paint your Dreams

Painting Dreams

Swirl and Paint your Dreams.

Creating my dreams as I paint with my heart

One brush stroke then two, let’s make a start

Flowers and Nature swirled in the mix

Following dreams is a Happiness Fix

Rainbows delight while patterns unfold

Just follow your heart with brush strokes so bold

Focus on thoughts with love and with light

Creating my dreams is such a delight

Imagination swirls in your mind

Bringing forward a heart that is kind

To open up dreams is to follow your heart

Flying high once more you soar like the Lark

Summer Sun shines as your future unfurls

The colours your paint as you mix and you swirl

Your brushstrokes create the patterns of life

As you leave all your troubles and forget about strife..

I am relaxing as I paint, and I am slowly working my way through all of your comments upon my last post as I catch up with your blogs and the posts I missed.. For those I have not caught up with I will do so over the next few days… I hope you are enjoying the beginning of September, as Autumn starts to turn the leaves to her golden time..

Make sure each of your own brush strokes on the Canvas of life leaves lasting colour through the memories you make..

Be seeing you shortly

Relaxing Days

“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.”

Buddha

Hello again and many have been awaiting updates of my artwork and allotments, so today I will show you how I spent time painting. Below is a metal water jug which I painted.

I am on the countdown now for the end of the month and it will seem very strange not working as I added up my work years to be 40.. So its time to enjoy and relax and pursue the hobbies I love which is painting and gardening.

You win some and you lose some.

Speaking of which  I will give you a picture update here now of the allotments and how things are coming along.. We have had some very heavy storms with flash flooding with heavy rains yesterday, and we have been told by the UK Met Office to brace ourselves for more storms and heavy down pours as the tail end of Hurricane Bertha will hit Sunday, today.

Due to the fluctuating weather of dry the wet, many of the allotment holders have suffered Potato Blight We spotted it as soon as it started to appear on the foliage so we cut the tops off to stop it spreading to the potatoes. The potatoes are fine underneath thank goodness.

Potatoes are still under here But the tops got potatoe blight so had to be cut off so as not to go back down and rot potatoes    Cabbages Missed spaces due to cabbage root fly getting at them

The cabbages got hit too with root fly so you can see the missed spaces here under the netting.. The Cabbage White butterfly didn’t get to them but the Cabbage root fly did..  You win some and you lose some. That’s how it is when you grow your own.. We do not spray anything.. But next time we will remember to put a circle of card around the new plants as the fly lays its eggs at the base of the cabbage, the maggots then can’t  go down and eat the root as the eggs will often dry off and die.

Onions and ShallotsThe onions and shallots have dried out beautifully and were left on top to finish off drying.. Unfortunately we missed not going down to the allotments for just one day, but someone obviously needed some extra onions that day and helped themselves to the biggest Onions across the rows…. ( I do not like to think of another allotmenteer  could do this, but we also had lots of garlic taken earlier this year. Some one likes their onions! Sad smile

A success story though is our dwarf beans and runner beans.. loads have been frozen, and are now stored in the freezers. ( and yes we have a back up generator just in case of emergencies ) As we have had one or two unexpected power outages recently due to storms..

Drawf Beans        Runner Beans Had loads

The Sweet corn has gone to seed earlier than expected and many cobs are not fully mature, but having said that we have got quite a few large ones off already..Sweetcorn we won't have a much this year as going to seed It seems everything in the allotment this year is around a month early for harvesting. The Courgettes too have been abundant.

Courgettes have come out of our ears!

and we are just getting the Butternut squash forming.. This is a success too as we hadn’t tried growing this before..

Butternut squash just forming

We Raspberries now coming and doing wellalso have had lots of Raspberries too off the bushes and lots still to come on later flowering crops. So these have been made into delicious sweet deserts some  of these recipes I will add to my recipe pages later..  The Blackberries too have been yielding Pounds of fruit and I am keeping my eye out for the elderberries which are just about ready for turning on the trees.. I want to try my hand this year of making Elderberry Syrup which is good for keeping those colds and coughs at bay..

Gladioli

Above  are the Gladioli’s which I have grown to have as cut flowers  to display  indoors..

Well I hope you enjoyed my Relaxing Days, I started with the New Moon and my altering my Intentions and the Full Super Moon is going to be a super one too, so Enjoy! Click the links to find our more..

And Thank you for reading..

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
