I just want to wish everyone who has commented and follows me a wonderful weekend. And to say my how time flies by. Today I got my alert from WP to say its now been 4 yrs since I transferred my whole blog from Windows Live Spaces. I first started blogging in 2007.

I am happy to say I have several firm friends who also started out life on WLS and who transferred their blogs when it closed. You all know who you are.. And I thank you for being within my Blogging World. Your continued friendship is a blessing. 

During my time as a blogger I have met the most wonderful friends here on WP from all corners of the world. You are the ones who have made my WordPress blogging experience what it is.. We really feel like family.. 

Thank you all of you who are regular visitors and commentors here. And not so long ago I was over the moon at having 500 followers I just looked in my side bar and it now stands at 598..  So to all of those who are recent subscribers I hope you find lots of topics to your interests here. And Welcome!. You can find more through the ages if you scroll down the right of the site to see Categories of  Subjects, and Posts throughout the years.. just click to open and click the year and month. 

Big thanks go too for all of your kind Award nominations.. They are not forgotten and held for safe keeping on my Award page.. I hope soon over the winter months to pass along with love..In the mean time you can see just how many are waiting if you click here.  for 2014 Awards given.

Wonderful Team Membership Award

The Second Award with the same title was given me my Amy over at Petals Unfolding.. Amy is a beautiful soul who seems to have time for everyone.. and her story too is a remarkable one.. Amy spreads her love through her poems and photo’s of her remarkable garden flowers and Nature. Thirteen Reasons Why! ~ Acknowledgements and Awards

I am well behind with my acknowledgements of the wonderful Awards I have been given..

Today another came my way and it prompted me to do something about the 13 awards I have been given this year on my blog that I have not as yet acknowledged..

I had told myself at the beginning of 2014 that I would become an Award Free zone, and yet almost as soon as I stated this to myself.. In came the awards..

I counted the awards  up to date this year, and they Numbered 13, which prompted me too to look up the significance of 13. For those of you who study numerology the following will not come as a surprise ..

Many think that 13 is unlucky.. but you can find symbolism in numbers too..  The number thirteen is a prime number and is only divisibly by itself. This is symbolic of: Incorruptible nature ~Purity and Integrity.

Then there are thirteen moons in a calendar year. the symbolic meaning of number thirteen deals with the Moons associations such as the Feminine~ Magic~ Emotion~ and the Psychic.

The meaning of Number 3 which is connected to ~Creation ~Completion ~ Order~ Advancement and Mystery

And number One which deals with Beginnings, Initiation, Solidarity, Unity, Birth.

So as I investigated further into the symbolic meaning of 13 I was inspired, as I discovered in Egypt, there are thirteen steps upon the ladder that leads to eternity. Upon the thirteenth step it is said the soul reaches the source of itself and attains spiritual completion.

So my friends you can see those wonderful awards I have been given here on my Awards 2014 with Gratitude Page . And I so thank every one for them..and I hope, really soon I will be tackling sending them along to worthy recipients .. I am working on them..

Peace and Justice my final Award

As we leave behind this Year of 2013 I want to share a final award with you which I was awarded some time ago by a dear blogging friend Lois.  If you haven’t already visited Living Simply Free, then I strongly suggest you do, you will be delighted and captivated in how you can recycle, and live more simply with the many ideas and links Lois shares as she brings us ways in living more eco friendly lives with her unique blend of posts.. So thank you Lois for this wonderful award ,I am very honoured to receive this  wonderful Award of Peace and Justice from Lois atLiving Simply Free  And thank you to Barbara Mattio for creating it..

There are rules for this award as like with most, but these rules are a bit different. They are as follows:

As we move from 2013 into another New Year, I would like to share the Video below with you all for my own contribution..  As the Film says Pay it Forward,  This is what the world needs, as we think of others rather than ourselves…

I want to share this award with some amazing people who I think Pay it Forward and who stand for Peace and Justice in their thoughts, lives, and blog posts..  Its been very difficult to choose from the Very many I support, and for those not mentioned, I love each and everyone of your blogs but I will just let these blogs  posts speak for themselves as I try to acquaint you with some new blogs perhaps you have not visited before.

Word Press Family Award ~ Are you eligible ?

 

It is now 3 years since I transferred my Blog over to WordPress. My Anniversary Date being October 2nd,and during that time I have met the most wonderful people here at WP..  It has been a wonderful privilege in getting to know so many people from all walks of life around the world.  Among my oldest friends of whom I had known previously on Windows Live Spaces also transferred their blogs at around the same time, as Windows Spaces was closing its doors on our blogs,. These are Aussie Emu aka Ian, Eddie Two Hawks, Europa IceWolf  ^.^ Sweeties Space, Andro, Prenin, Sheila’s Space, Lady Jude Eclipse, Darkworks Entertainments, Pen Pusher  Kenny2dogs and others..

Now I know some of the above do not accept awards, and to be honest although its  a great honour to receive them, I am always at a loss as who I should choose to accept them, because I do not wish to offend other who are left out when I follow the rules, because all have become like Family here on WP who visit and comment upon my posts, I know how time consuming commenting on every post is, and I do appreciate them all greatly .

I  Know I too neglect some posts   but I do try to read as many that are delivered into my email box as if possible in the time I allow, as as my WP family,is forever increasing.. Over the last few weeks I have received several awards which I am getting around to Accepting, Which I thank those who thought to award me most kindly.

Recently I started following a blog by Dr Rex who kindly presented me with this award made by Shaun at Prayingforoneday Who created the award and wording in red below..

Appreciation & Gratitude of Awards

Thank you to all of the following awards which have been bestowed upon me over 2012.. I am honoured to receive so many wonderful and beautiful awards, I Have a Few catch me ups here to say thank you thank Varungenius who back in March of this year awarded me this Inspiring Blog Award.Varun’s blog is about being an optimist and believing life is what we believe it to be. So go along to his blog and see life from his  point of view. You will not be disappointed Sorry Varun its taken me forever to get around to acknowledging your award.
