    Dear Sue,

What a majestic creature you have painted! The shafts of light casting into the forest also seem to be magical and mystical at the same time.

Speaking of such an important commemoration as Earth Day, I have also published a post or two about it in the past.

I would also like to remind us of what you mentioned exactly one year ago about choices in healing our hearts. Your following thoughts resonated with me deeply:

She was shown we were far from alone, and that we were still being guided and watched over, and that we each hold the ‘Key’ within us to help our Earth Mother. Our Free Will had been part of our demise, and yet it would be our ‘Free Will’ which would help heal Mother Gaia and ultimately Free ourselves . And each were responsible for our thoughts and actions..

Sing your Song for the Trees of the Earth It seems many are under attack right now.

She was taken up high out of her body to sit in space above the blue planet. She was permitted to see the many Ley lines of energy which was a girth around the planet. She saw how some were strong while others had weakened and others appeared broken, disconnected, lifeless lines that although visible had no energy running through them. She saw how many military bases were now positioned along these ley lines and power points. Everything is revealed to those who open their eyes.

In return, I would like to share with you a pertinent illustration as follows:

May we appreciate Mother Earth for all her nurturing!

    Yours sincerely,
    SoundEagle

Thank you dear SE, I had forgotten about that post too… So many thanks for the reminder of it here..
Love your creation too of Earth Day.. Very symbolic …
Our thoughts and intentions are KEY!… If only people inner-stood their own power of creation is within, and how they themselves effect the Field of Consciousness around them, which in turn creates our experienced Reality..

Many thanks on the compliments of the Stag painting.. I wanted it to be special and hold the Stags energy for my sister..
      Many thanks again ❤ 🙂

    Dear Sue,

Here’s more musing about Earth Day in relation to the sun, and also looking back at Earth out in space.

The recent total solar eclipse was quite a sight to behold. Speaking of astronomy and looking up into the sky, the late Carl Sagan had been such a wonderful human being that we desperately need more people like he nowadays, people who can inspire others so amicably and commendably. I have read many of his books, including “The Demon-Haunted World”. I read these books a long time ago, and thus feel delighted and also very nostalgic when watching documentaries or YouTube videos containing Sagan’s words of enduring significance.

His message about the “Pale Blue Dot” provides such a lovely, grand and unifying prose to prompt us to do something about being good earthlings and cultivating critical thinking! His words always elicit in me a feeling of nostalgia, humility and profundity. Needless to say, this message is presented as the very last quotation in my expansive multimedia post about Earth Day at

🦅 SoundEagle in Earth Day 🌍🌎🌏

What an inspirational life Sagan had! The series “Cosmos” is such a watershed for its breadth and depth, not to mention Vangelis’ music. As you probably already know, Neil deGrasse Tyson, a scientist who greatly admires the late Carl Sagan, has presented the new series of “Cosmos”.

I also own the book entitled “Carl Sagan: A Life” by Keay Davidson.

There is also his daughter Sasha Sagan’s beautiful memoir/humanist manifesto/love letter to the Cosmos, entitled For Small Creatures Such as We: Rituals for Finding Meaning in Our Unlikely World“.

    Yours sincerely,

Hi Sue, this is a very beautiful and sad poem. I have honesty arrived at the conclusion that mankind is going to wipe itself out. Tragically, we will probably take a lot of the Earth’s creatures with us.

Thank you Robbie… I feel there are some who would wish that upon us Robbie… But we Humans are a resourceful lot, and while we may have some adapting to do in the future, I feel the true Human Spirit will not allow itself to be annihilated. Even though Humans I know have annihilated many species without a second thought..
Despite all appearances by the media in the state of the climate… I feel many are becoming increasingly aware of being responsible for their actions..
I do not give up on the Human Race… only some within it.. 😉

Yes, sad to say Miriam all these years later it seems like nothing much on the surface has changed.. But I feel deeply within that we have changed.. That an invisible corner has been turned, and while we may not see it as yet on the surface, you can feel the love of our planet bubbling beneath all the Hype out there.. As people begin to wipe the sleep from their eyes to what is truly going on in our world..
So I am very optimistic about our future world dear Miriam.. And as I said within another comment.. Today I heard on MSM news here in England today the mention it was Earth Day.. Something I have never heard mention before in all the years I have supported Earth Day..
      So awareness is out there..
Thank you again dear Miriam… Much love to you xx 💖✨🙏

Beautiful poem and how mankind ravaged.Gaia. there are some people throwing their light and love towards her The healing has begun more so now than ever now. W all have a hand driving cars etc. Every negative behavior has to go somewhere and can sit as poison inside of us creating poison. The other way that negativity is harbored is in the global pool Star ing wars, environmental issue. It’s easy and so hard for others and that is to love. I forgot what a lovely collage of nature pic of nature that goes so well with your post. Kudos to the camera clicket. I noticed the beautiful reflection of the clouds. Yoo bad mankind ha a difficult time seeing their reflections. Wishing you much peace and love. 💕

An excellent observation on the reflection of the clouds Joseph, I will let my sister know how much you enjoyed her camera skills and photos… She will be thrilled.. And spot on too about us all seeing our own reflections… Though I think many are beginning to see the true nature of others.
Lots of countries facing their own Karma too, as well as people Joseph.. But I too believe that Healing on a grand scale has begun, and is progressing behind the scenes all be it slowly.. Not all see or feel it.. But I know it is occurring..

Sending hugs your way my friend.. Enjoy your week ❤ 💚🙏

I can feel the vibration of love happening around the world. Everything that is not of love is an aberration to spirituality. I have been telling people that we are living in the age of transparent.truth. The light is shining on everybody. People can now see our shortcomings…some people will see. I have seen more people working on themselves to deal with ugly bits and the reward is lightness and more love you can feel after all those behaviors are a dark shield to feel love to the fullest. Enough of yackety yack. Love Joseph. No

True! so true, I kept thinking this, as I was reading these warnings, so beautifully put across by you Sue. We all know that Mother Earth might turn her back and at many places she already has but who gives a thought to it? However, she knows how to balance despite the apathy of mankind. Thanks for sharing lovely images and that painting is awesome. 🤗🥰

I am in total agreement there Balroop in Mother knowing how to Balance… Like any Mother, who at times has to dish out some tough love.. I feel Balance WILL be restored.. Even though at the present time that is hard to comprehend given the media’s constant negative narrations..
But there are many, many, more loving and caring people on this planet than those who are negative and disruptive. We are just led to believe things are hopeless, so we become helpless…
And thank you for those kind compliments also Balroop… Sending much love your way xx 💖🙏

The conversion of ecosystems into agricultural areas, livestock pastures, dams, urban areas and roads. Excessive exploitation of species, including illegal trafficking. The introduction of species from other countries that become invasive. Pollution of soil, water and air. The deforestation of forests and much more of what we do to destroy the earth. You wrote your poem years ago and it is still more relevant than ever. Regards Sue

Thank you Manuel, you touched upon some important aspects of many things which have been tainted and controlled by those who care not for the environment, but only for their profit margins and how much their shareholders get paid.. Yet it is the environment and the little people who suffer and have to pay for generations of greed..

Indeed.. when I read my poem again after all those years… It appears on the surface nothing has changed.. But I do think awareness is now changing, as people begin to discover the true culprits of such pollutions etc..

Thank you again Manuel.. I appreciate you reading and translating.. Many thanks 💖🙏

Exactly that Erika.. Earth Day is everyday when we should respect and honour her… and all life upon her.. Sadly the world is not full of generous hearts full of love, and it appears many empty hearts rule nations which cause wars.. So yes I totally agree Erika.. Those who cannot see what we do to our brothers and sisters around the world and to Mother Nature, those souls I would say are lost.
But I know for every empty heart, there are 10 hearts full of love.. We just now need to be aware of how we use our hearts in healing and manifesting a world of abundance and harmony.. ❤ ✨🙏💖

Magnificent Sue, written from that heart of pain a true ignominy of what it does feel to stand and watch the greed and deceit of those few over the many and what it does to this world.

But look what it birthed. That painting is absolutely fantastic, a symbol of what we truly do want when we see this planet in all its glory. I’m almost expecting it to step out from my screen. A beautiful share kind lady, thank you. I almost feel so I want to go get a brush 🤣, but I can paint with my heart too 🤗🥰❤️🙏

Thank you dear Mark.. Yes at times it can be painful watching and observing and trying to detach.. At the time I know of writing this poem, I was acutely aware of the scars and torment.. Looking through my archives, I had also written a poem of a disastrous oil spill in the ocean. But that was too dark a scar for the energy I wished upon Earth Day this year.

For I feel more people are aware now of their environment and that it is our responsibility not someone else’s.. to care for Nature in all its forms..

Thank you Mark for the lovely compliment on my painting.. I must do more like it.. At the moment I am busy creating some butterfly paintings, that will be made into cards for sending out ..
And you never know what you can achieve Mark in the painting, unless you try… But I know you do an excellent job Mark of painting with your heart.. I know many a person has benefited from your heartfelt responses.. ❤ 🙏💖

As I understand some native American tribes (Potawatomi Nation) have a concept of giving thanks to Earth for her gifts and to take or accept gifts honorably, which means not taking too much, not destroying, doing it sustainably.

A very thoughtful poem that you revisited, Sue. So apt for our times. Earth is the reason why many of us are here and connected to each other. She certainly gave us many things we take for granted, from the harvest of plants to her minerals as you mentioned. Sadly as a collective we have a long way to go to making our planet a sustainable one. The Earth and the Universe listens; sometimes she does rebel to get our attention. Yet we tend to pay attention for a moment and then go on with our lives as before.

I do think there is more awareness about this planet as time goes on, slowly but surely. For instance, plastic bags are being phased out over here in groceries stores here in Australia. Reusable bags here are so much more common now. These little things are a step in the right direction. Your sister shared such beautiful photos. Nature is indeed beautiful in her own right and asks only for love in return. I hope you are doing well. Wising you well, Sue 😊❤

Earth Day IS everyday! Else we cease to breathe and function – when will the greedy bow to the knowledge of this? I think it is coming, truly. Meanwhile, those of us who honor and work with her grow in numbers. I have just spent 12 hours watering everything in freezing wind and gray skies – even though we supposedly are closing on this property May 13, how could I not continue caring for what earth and I have created together, these four years? When we bought the ranch, trees were sad and dying – now all are thriving – the elm, once in her death throes, holds a magpie nest! So unusual, they are shy creatures – and she will keep the sapsucker away, which was tapping the trunk and making the tree lose life force. So pleased! So now roses are pruned as are larger shrubs, Oriental poppies and lilies are flourishing if not yet blooming – yes! How would we live on a planet devoid of such beauty? Blessings, Sue! 😍

Wow, Sue, your painting is incredible, and your poem is both beautiful and powerful. I fear that our planet isn’t going to win. Mankind has done his damage, and I’m unsure if it’s reversible. But we continue to do our small part to nurture her and enjoy the gifts she offers. Your sister’s photos are also gorgeous, and I love the idea of nature being free.
