What Went Wrong?

I thought I would share this quote with my poem.

A good reminder to myself also..

What went Wrong?

What’s wrong with the World Today?

Can you answer me, Can we really say?

What have we lost that each strive to find

Each has the answer’s within their own minds

~

Society stressed as they bulge with popping pills

Apportioning blame for all of their ills

Working hard they say for so little gain

Accumulating debts as the plastic card reigns

~

Do they never stop to look in the Mirror?

I wonder if anyone stops to consider

What happened that we appear not to care?

Why, that to Love one another has become so rare

~

What went wrong as we strove for so much?

I ponder and wonder did we lack a mother’s touch

The Media shows a surface of a greedy society

And yet beneath it all I believe in Humanity

~

The Selfish will soon see they walk a lonely path

Possessions mean little as Earth leaves her aftermath

Each day we see her cry yet more stormy tears

Unleashing Lessons until we unite and leave our Fears

~

She shows us we are ONE-For One affects the ALL

Is that what went wrong, when we began to fall

Mankind forgot his kindness as he began to take

When did we forget to Love, and why do we hate?

~

Duality in matter an experiment to ponder

Good and Bad, both needed to experience and wonder

The thousands of years we failed to balance Right

What’s wrong with the world as we strive to reach the Light?

Have a great Week all of you and I am trying to work my way around you in batches..

within each tear She sheds, one for Her Earth, one for Her Creatures, one for Humanity….
She must wonder why we can’t see if we throw away relationships with such callous
behavior then how can we ever hope to see the bigger moment looming in front of us…..
good behavior starts with one on one…and spreads to those around us…if one chooses to break another’s heart, then that ripples out touching more than just that one…I Believe our Sacred land will heal when we see what we are doing to each on the human level…
for surely a crack within someone’s heart is felt by the heartbeat of Earth, Her trees, the ripples in the waters will be be of a low vibration …and so on…
each connection will feel the emotion, the loss of hope…
if it is what it is to hurt someone, then that thought is accepted as normal to the Earth’s care also….Changing how one sees the moment rippling outward is a window to what the effects will be….no one person is more worthy or less worthy
no creature or tree, or plant is either….yes live in the moment, but that moment will have a reaction somewhere else….
I thought of Dr Emoto’s water crystals when I read your poem Sue…..it is a beautiful work of art your thoughts have created….crystals for sure since they are spoken softly with the highest intention …
Thank you for sharing the care you have within…
    Take Care…You Matter…

( I am not sure I make sense this morning…I have one of those cracks that seems to expand on someone’s whim within fear of anothers control *sigh*)
I woke to a perfect pink sky…all pink…no blues or yellows…I felt the sofest energy surround me, I stood so still holding onto it and slowly the sky turned to blue as the sun began His ascending for the day…it was a surreal feeling….seemed to give me confirmation on a dream I have been having about Goddess…

Sue, beautiful words that we need to keep repeating endlessly. It’s 6am here in Oregon. Oliver, our latest addition to our family, is asleep across my legs in bed. He is not yet six months old but already offers me and Jean, and the other dogs, boundless unconditional love. We must hang on to the need for such love and compassion in our world. However impossible the task may seem at times. Big hugs, Paul.

Super poem DW..! I can well imagine what journey your heart has been on as I know mine has been up and down and all around. We just have to keep remembering that these hideous times mean the end of our battle. The battle is intense right now because the dark ones are holding on by their fingers to survive and the light is yanking up those fingers one at a time and they are losing their grip..The light shall prevail as we always knew. love to you…VK

This is wonderful Sue. What is happening now is difficult, though expected, as we transition. This is the moment that we Shine Our Lights brighter than ever and do not allow this energy to dampen our flame. It is now that we must shed that Light on positive and inspiration and support for one another. Thank you for being such a bright link in that chain! Blessings!

Sue we are all guilty of posting what is wrong with the world today.
Like you remind us, we need to promote the positive. Mother Theresa
was once asked if she would join in and speak about what she thought
about war and she replied no, but if you would ask me to comment on
world peace, I would be happy to offer a reply.

I mention this only as an example of how we can turn a negative into
a positive reply. A good lesson from an angel of love and peace.

Yes, even the most ardent among us – the most mindful and in touch with that Source – yes, we all need encouragement from time to time. But your light shines bright, and you continue to offer such hope in a world that would make any one of us flicker and threaten to get blown out….your light – it still shines so beautifully bright. 🙂

I love your poem. According to Eastern Buddhist philosophy, many of the things that have gone wrong stem to our clinging to wishing that things were the way we want them to be. According to Buddhist philosophy, this clinging to a world of illusion (that things will turn out to be the way we want them to be) is the cause of our suffering. Living in a world of illusion means that we tend to believe, according to Buddhist philosophy, that pleasure and happiness are to be eternal, and determined by external factors. When things are finally not turning out the way we want them to be, we suffer because because of our clinging and expectations. Therefore, developing mindfulness consists of becoming aware of this “clinging”, as soon as we feel it’s coming: as soon as things start turning out “different” and not the way we wanted them to be, either we develop “mindfulness “, or we suffer because of our “clinging” to wishing that things were different than what they are. The concept of “self” is also an illusion, according to this philosophy, because the “self” is always changing and is never the same. The “self” is constantly transforming, like a flowing river, it is never the same water. So our clinging to the “self” is another cause of suffering. Developing “mindfulness” is our path to liberation, according to this philosophy, so that we can act out kindness and compassion towards one another; otherwise we continue to live in a world of illusion.

Sue, reading this I was reminded of the story of the frog and the hot pot. If you put a frog in a boiling pot of water it will jump out, but if you put the frog in a pot of cool water and gradually turn up the heat he won’t notice and will be cooked in time. We are like that frog, we didn’t notice all the little things as they built up and now are wondering how we got into this mess.

Beautiful poem Sue, must admit it is tinged with sadness,
Seems the pressures to remain positive are getting harder each day, we are inundated with negatives all around us.
I think the answer is really to cocoon oneself and take one day at a time, if we open up to all the hurts in the world we end up dragging ourselves down.
I honestly dont know what the answer is Sue.
    Wishing you well Dear friend.

I was looking for something to share with you over the weekend and had a post drafted on my new computer of 2 months when the unthinkable happened. After it updated I turned it off. And when I switched it back on it said It needed Recovery the whole system seems to have gone kaput..

So its back in the shop!.. Thankfully my old one that runs on steam is still working and so I looked around my archive and this title caught my eye..

    What Went Wrong?..

But the interesting thing is, unlike last time when my computer lost everything.. I feel so detached and not bothered one little bit for the losses..
Why? Well, we only have to look around the world to see what REAL loss is…
Those caught in wars, those loosing loved ones, and the terrible earthquake in Italy where the whole town of AMATRICE which was completely destroyed.. Who are all held within my prayers

    This put things into perspective.

A computer is only a Thing after all..

Love and Blessings may we count each and everyone!

Very interesting we have been going through the same thing with our machines. Mine has mostly been in the shop almost all summer. As frustrating as it is, it is such a minor problem looking at the all of everything. Just a momentary misfire.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
