Mediums~Natives~And Healers.

Why is it do you suppose that for many mediums who have guides, they say that they have a Native American Indian… I know for me in my early years of development I thought how come I didn’t feel a Native Guide.. The first guide I was aware of was a Nun… she came to me when I was a child and I know helped me through some traumatic times of unhappiness as a child…

Years later I was aware of others who would help me with various things, such as my singing… I was aware of a lady in long silk green gown, she would help me in the choir at school whenever I was asked to sing solo.. I was a shy nervous child, but I guess my choir teacher saw how she could bring out that something in me… I didn’t always understand why I would see this lady in green in my mind, until years later and realised she had once been an opera singer..

It wasn’t until I started my Spiritual Healers Coursein the early 90’s that I became aware of a Young Indian Brave who came to add his energy to mine… To make me aware he was near, his sign was to make my face itch down the left side.. It was sometime before I blended with his energy sufficient enough to be able to find out that he was killed in a battle and able to see him clearly enough to see that his face had been badly scared down the left side..

I asked why didn’t they show me themselves more often instead of just making me aware of their presence through my senses, I was told it took far too much energy and the energy was needed in my healing work.

So why is it, Native American Indians seem to be prominent in channelled writings etc. There are teachings of channelled words from White Eagle

And then there are the inspiring words of Silver Birch books which tell of this Native American Indians own life on earth and in the spirit realm. Books that are full of wisdom and light.. Many stand upon my bookshelves.

Native Science teaches us the relationships to the natural world and a way of life and being.. They are the first to admit they were not perfect. No Human Being is.. But Native Science teaches us about the cycle of time and space, they teach us about our individual actions through ceremony and their relationship with the Earth.. They teach us about responsibility in respecting All Nature, taking only that which is needed, and giving thanks for that which is given.. They respect the rights of other living creatures.. And they understand that the Land belongs to no one but our Earth Mother and is Free ..They understand the cycles of sowing and harvesting and how the Moon cycles all entwine within our own circles of growing seasons and our own growth.

They spread their knowledge through their story-telling, Indigenous science also understands the laws of the natural world and the plants and their healing qualities… Traditionally they understood that compacts should be made with the land and the natural entities there. Everything is considered to be alive with spirit energy.Even the stones are alive.. And to them everything is related and connected.. All things unfold, all events into the plan of the Universe.

This ‘Knowing’ is passed down, this relationship of Earth and Space and of the energy between living and non-living things, having their visions and dreams, holding that connection between the physical and Spiritual realms. They understand the importance of Balance with Nature and try to hold a moral and ethical code in which we should all walk.. They see the destruction we have wrought upon ourselves and know what it is to be destroyed as they themselves were nearly annihilated.

And so they come to teach us, and guide us with their wisdom of knowledge.. And those teachers still walk among the Native American Tribes of today, as they speak their Knowing to ALL who will listen..

It is time we once again listened to their Messages.. Before we walk our final path…

For The TIME is NOW..

when we need to once again open our hearts to the Indigenous Native Ways of Being..

And Live In Balance with One another and our Earth Mother.

“The Roots of all living things are tied together.

When one mighty tree is felled, a star falls from the sky.

Before you cut down a mahogany,

you should ask Permission of the Keeper of the Forest,

and you should ask permission of the Keeper of the Star”,

~Maya~

Hey DW….Good one…I only have had one soul who is in my life and she is a nun…She is a nun as her way of telling me to stop living my life as a nun! To live a little, laugh, loosen up….Never had any other guides. My nun is called Grace and she helps me all the time find parking spaces, stop traffic so i can pull out off a side street, she helps me get my cats in at night etc…Small ways but always at the ready. life would be very strange without her there. I have no idea what she is other than a nun…Guess she wouldn’t be native american…Thanks for this post DW and reminding me to appreciate her….Blessings….VK

Smiling here VK very wide here, as when I inquired after the name of my Nun, much later down the road I was given ‘Grace’ for my nun also.. I also had that name validated by another Medium who didnt know me, Who also told me her name… She also was a healing Nun, not one who wore the long black habbits headress, but she wore the Big High hats in white.. you know the ones I mean? like starched..! and she was discribed to me as I saw her too.. I think the French nuns wore habbits like that.. not certain.. I never feel my Nun is French… just so full of ~Grace~ and Loving and comforting.. And Patient!.. Boy she has Patience! LOL 😉 Thank you for sharing that VK.. 🙂 DW

This is incredibly fulfilling and informative. Well done, Sue! The question is, will those not understanding come to see what this actually means to the world? Will they understand that all beings under nature are one? Blessings, ~R

Hello Nina, Its so good to have you comment again, and to find you are part Apache also .. We all weave our threads upon the Blanket of our Earth Mother, each of us add our own colours, like a Quilt making our lives ever more vibrant in the patterns we choose to create within it.. We hold it around us in protection and for warmth, and for comfort…. We also hold it aloft for others to see as we welcome them to come and sit upon it as we join together in our Stories which we wish to tell so that others may see the grand design created within its intricate fabric… And as we stitch and sew the many parts of our creation together we join together with Like minded Beings.. For Each Part is made into the Whole.. Such is the Grand design of Life as we discover we are One.. Aho my friend ~Sue

A very inspirational read Sue.and interesting to read about your many paths through life.

I read once somewhere that there is no teacher who can teach anything new.
He can just help us remember the things we always knew.
    What do you think Sue…?
I sometimes have the feeling of something I should have said or done but
only to realise it afterwards and then I wonder why did I not take heed of that
    sense before?
I feel someone is looking over me but I am not sure who it is.

..drinking plenty of Tea at this moment 🙂
Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts Sue.
I hope your week goes smoothly and a good weeks work too.
Looking forward to Easter, the big celebration!

    Hi Dreamwalker,

This is beautiful! I must admit, reading made me wonder why I haven’t had visions of a guide. I’ve had many dreams of animals.

Six years ago today, my dog Free had to leave this earth realm. Shortly afterward, with the help of a friend, I went on a Shamanic vision. I was able to talk with my dog through a Crow. The Crow spoke for her. Can animals be guides like people?

I am off to be with the plants today in the gardens, and of course, the lizards and ladybugs too. So, I must go, but I hope to read more of your blog again soon. (My mother is visiting too. Perhaps you might send me a ‘Drum Beat’ today my friend).

    Love,
    Michelle.

Hi Michelle, I know how much Free was to you Michelle and how she helped you through some tough times.. Can Animals be guides, I know they come to you when you need them Michelle, and yes they guide us, helping us over our hurdles of emotions, healing us, and helping us channel our energy into a positive experience.. Our pets teach us unconditional love. And as such they come often to help heal and guide someone in need of love and loving.. Sharing their souls with us, for our animal friends have souls and go on into that realm of energy we call the afterlife.. So do they guide us? Yes.. And we have our animal totems too, who come to us to bring their traits of strength at times of need.. The Native Americans were very aware of this and show us time and time again through their teachings how Animals weaved their magic in stories entwined with their own lives. And use them to illustrate the various strengths they bring to us.. I hope your day with planting was another excellent day of Healing Michelle.. You know you are always within my Drum Beat Michelle.. always do I beat out to both of your healing progress. ~love to you and your Son.. xx ~Sue

Hi Dreamwalker, Thank you for your kind words, and friendship 🙂 I think Free’s Spirit visited today several times. It’s been a challenging day, and still is, but with every turn of an hour, it seems the energy changes and things are okay. I think Free has given me strength, even as my body is tired. The gardens are so fun, but they sure make me tired. With that said, it’s all I can write. Will tell of my Green Healing day soon I hope. Hugs, xoxo… Michelle.

I am certain that Free came, to give you extra Spirit energy especially if you had a challenging day. Her companionship and love never ends with the parting of worlds. Just the same as our own departed loved ones never stop loving and wanting our own lives to be fulfilled and happy..Even though at times we are not aware of their presence they are always trying their best to guide us along our pathway.. Hugs back.. and I will look forward to catching up on your Green Healing Day…… xx

Thanks for sharing your very inspiring thoughts, Sue.
I’ve always wanted to learn more about the Native American Tribes. I think they’re amazing people and I can’t explain why but their “world” has always been so appealing to me. Well, yes I can. They respect everyone and everything. That’s beautiful. And you describe that very well.
Now I should get back to my revisions. 🙂

Hi Cha, Yes Native American Indians certainly knew how to live in balance with the land and nature, this is needed to be understood again, for we have for too long exploited our world and Mother Nature.. They knew how to only take that which was needed, and always left something in return.. Today we rape and pillage our World, cutting down our trees, polluting our Oceans and waterways, the very life giving veins of Mother Earth.. Drilling for oil, gas, minerals, gold, fossil fuels.. We are destroying the fabric of nature, and upsetting the eco balance, not to mention all the species we are causing to become extinct. So yes to Study Native American Indian ways is a very good lesson to learn… But after you have completed your OWN Studies my young friend.. Clever though you are. Haha… Love and blessings, AND Good luck with your revisions and any forthcoming Exams you have.. Hugs ~Sue

You have been blessed to be so drawn and connected to these people, Sue. That is why, at first, I felt you to be Native American and was so surprised to find otherwise. No matter. You are one with them just the same and your Spirit shows in your writings about them. Thank You!

I think Renee, my deep connection stems from an earlier incarnation within a memory of living as a Native American Indian, as long as I remember this connection has been within me… Even when I was a young child, I would watch the Cowboy Movies, I never was on the Cowboy side, always the Indians 🙂 xx

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
