A Quiet Mind~ Cloud Watching~ Reconnecting to Earth.

Within my garden with quiet mind

Profuse with colour I sit reclined

I watch clouds their shapes do shift

As within my mind I gently drift

~~

I watch the Bee in Foxglove bed

And Marvel at their trumpet head

A sparrow chirps as young they feed

While fountain bubbles in pond with reed

~~

My Book put down as I admire

All that nature gives this hour

Grass so green and poppies red

Sky so blue, I shake my head

~~

For this moment is all I seek

As conscious thought in unity greets

My heaven on Earth is held in time

As I grab my pen to create this Rhyme

~~

Oneness is all I feel

As into my garden I gaze surreal

Tranquil thoughts as nature Blends

My thoughts of Peace are what I send

Gratitude in colours untold

All within my garden hold

~~

So thank you my garden for this quiet time

As I watch the clouds as I recline..

~~

The above poem was written in 2011, I thought it apt to include again here.  Clouds over the last few days have let loose the rain, here in the UK, and we have had over two months worth of rain in a couple of days here in the UK, causing flooded roads and boggy fields. Many places around our globe are experiencing floods right now..

But the Universe thought to shine upon our pre-planned visit to one of the Royal Horticulture Societies  Flower Show held at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.  And the Sun shone for us.

I have been busy with some projects I have wanted to complete, Some are nearing the end, while others were stopped due to the weather. What ever you do in life, do so with an open heart and no expectations. Trust that is all is as it should be, and even when our climate seems as confused as we are, we need to trust in our hearts, as we send LOVE out into the world which is beginning to weep its own tears of conflict and confusion.

Know that LOVE  far out-ways Fear.

So keep Loving thoughts at the forefront of your minds as we witness yet more chaotic times.

When our hearts open, it opens a portal, to the frequency of Mother Earth herself, have you ever wondered why Heart and eartH contain the same letters with the Letter H moved to the front? Think about that for a moment.. And ask yourself why it is we always feel better and brighter when we go out and connect back with nature, to walk in forests, or by water, be it oceans, lakes or streams. Is it because we are truly connected as one to Gaia, we who hold all the minerals and stardust within our make up, and we who are mainly made up of water, such as this Blue Planet of ours.

Our ancestors knew how to treat our Earth Mother, they gave thanks and rituals for her bounties and they saw each thing held its own spirit/energy and would ask permission before the hunt and give thanks and a blessing after offering in return a gift back to nature..

We just take nature for granted, taking and hardly every consider the consequences of our actions as we destroy forests pollute rivers and oceans, but this world is a Matrix of duality, it also follows natural Universal Laws, which means that every Action has an equal and opposite reaction.  And the world right now is reaping some of what has been sown in the past.

I made my first ever video this week, its far from perfect, but I put together a string of photo’s I took on the day of my visit to the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show.

For those who are not aware of what we were up to in our own Allotment Plot  before the rain set in can be found here on my Garden Blog

Have a Wonderful Weekend

Much Love To ALL.

We take, take, take from Earth, from others, Giving back and giving thanks is such a small way of saying ‘thank you’.
Thank you Dreamwalker for this beautiful reminder.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful poem. I don’t think I’ve seen it before.
We’ve had a bit of rain at my “high desert” cottage. One day last week it was a good steady, “helpful” rain all day long. Enjoy the rest of the week. Hugs on the wing.

Thanks for sharing this poem Sue, echoing the sounds of nature and the delight that a nature lover finds spontaneously. I could relate to putting that book down to look at the clouds and hear the singing of birds and bees. Enjoy the bounties of Mother Nature. Hope she showers the rain slowly and kindly. Have a wonderful day dear friend.

The video was a breath of refreshing air and beauty. Thank you. I really enjoyed your poem. This line resonated especially with me today, “What ever you do in life, do so with an open heart and no expectations. Trust that is all is as it should be…” Hmmm… no expectations? Whenever I feel my heart begin to close in on itself, I only need to wander into my woods and all is balanced within minutes. Wishing you a sunny weekend. We’ve had lots of rain here, too. This poem filled my heart, each word resonating with me as I spent part of my morning meditating outside. I was so in awe of the beauty surrounding me that I had a hard time keeping my closed. The trees dancing in the wind, the sound of the leaves, the beautiful green around me, my chickens scratching, the birds………in those moments I was a total peace…….heavenly. Beautiful rhyming poem with a strong message of just being. No expectations are something for all of us to learn. When we live without any expectations, for the most part, we see the stress lift from our shoulders. Everything is as it should be. Sometimes we ask spirit for something but we don’t get what we wanted, however, Spirit gives us exactly what we need to continue on our journey whether we realize it or not.
There has been flooding in my home town this year where they have never seen flooding. Gaia is strongly telling us to quit mucking with nature. But will they listen?
Beautiful video of Chatsworth flower show. Well, my dear another great post. Take care and hope the end of the weeks gives you spiritual gifts ❤ ❤ ❤

Sorry to learn of the flooding at your home town too Joseph. China, Iran, USA, parts of Europe. Great hail stones the size of grapefruit in Slovenia damaged many homes and cars. Lighting killing sheep!! And a woman too was killed walking in Scotland by lighting.
More lighting strikes (plasma blasts) to come.
We need to keep cloud watching and making the most of our moments 😊
Spirit keep guiding,. 🙂 And I keep listening

“What ever you do in life, do so with an open heart and no expectations. Trust that is all is as it should be” – I hear these lines so clearly for myself – I am actually feeling freer than ever to simply follow my heart-gut feeling, enjoying a space of doing nothing, simply being. Some of us who follow the true alignment are here for the long game so any expectations are just a source of unneeded struggle.
I love your idea of how Heart and eartH share the same letters – the connection between the 2 of how we feel when in nature – so true and beautiful!

Yes in areas not too far away there has been flooding. it stopped for a full day yesterday after raining none stop day and night for around a week.. Water ways and rivers overflowing, And people have had homes flooded.. We have an Amber warning in place this evening for torrential rains and heavy thunderstorms.. So I feel for those who are already have the sandbags in place near their homes.. Many thanks Robbie, ❤ Hope alls well with you .. ❤

First, I have to say that I loved your video. Like your other artwork, you have an eye for composing a beautiful image. And video-making is quite fun, I have found – when you get to curate all your own content. On my travels, I have been taking lots of phone videos to go with all the sacred places I’ve been visiting. I can’t wait to compile and share them. 🙂
J got me a bonsai for my birthday and I think I have discovered a beautiful new hobby. (I already have many, but I love the “slowness” of working with bonsai.) And I love alliums! They make me think of something you might find in Dr. Seuss.
Your poem is a beautiful, mindful walk in your garden! How beautiful and you string your words together so well.
And the planet…yes. So often on my recent journeys, I look at all the evidence of humans and their mark on everything. I understand it’s about civilization and people with families who need resources, but at the same time I look at the earth and wonder how much more it can take.
Ah well. I wanted to come over and say hello and wish you a wonderful week. Sending you big hugs!

I think our Earth Mother is already giving us her own warning signs Cynthia, but I doubt many are heeding them. Until something major occurs.
Love that you are following a new passion for Bonsai Trees, A wonderful hobby, we were speaking to man on holiday who was a president of his local Bonsai group, When asking him about it, he made it sound quite simple, yet I am sure it isn’t.. But he said you can make a miniature tree out of any shrub if you follow a few simple rules.. 🙂
Enjoy the rest of your week Cynthia.. Much love and thank you for taking time out of your vacation to drop in..

I love this little ditty. It calms and focuses the mind. But we both know how nature does this. Lovely video as well! Aloha, sweet Sue. ❤

Your poetry reminded me of a renowned poet, the legendary nature lover and poet John Keats, just the way keats had loved nature in all its ethereal beauty, your poetry has made a clear affiliation with the azure sky and the winds that breezes through the small green heaven of yours.
    Hope you are doing well.
    Much love,
    Neha.

Hi Sue! I’m going to try to comment before the app crashes again as it did 3x before. I also noticed that I cannot “like” or “comment” when I am outside of the reader, and I’m not sure why quite yet. It might be a WP script error.

Your poem has me in the clouds and with the blue sky and putting down my book! I’ve read it about 3 or 4 times now and each time it’s better and better 😉

    Impressive first video!

Lots of love from here to there!! 💗💗

Many thanks dearest Ka that you kept trying my friend and finally got through.
And I am overjoyed you read the poem three times.. So pleased that these words spoke to you. And thank you for the compliment of my first video.. I nearly didn’t upload it to YouTube as I am wary of such things.. But I am pleased that I did. 🙂 Much love returned ❤ 🙂

Heart and Earth. My goodness, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they have the same letters. I’d never realised. We have so much to be grateful for. Beautiful poem Sue and I loved your video too. Thank you for sharing your heart. Always love visiting your space. xx 💚

I finally sat still long enough to catch this one and it was so worth the time. I loved it all. I had not thought about the words heart and earth!! That is amazing. Like Dog and God being spelled backwards. I always feel better after I spend time outside. The heat is keeping me in more these days. I go out when the sun first starts to rise and by 10:00 it’s too much for me. But looking out at it helps too. My daughter and I were talking about Edgar Cayce’s predictions on the earth changes last night. She says we are in the wrong place in the PNW. I’m like you and assume it as it should be though it’s hard to watch. I don’t do much more than tend my garden and purge our belongings to make our changes too. Everything affects everything else. Sending love and hugs, MH

Likewise Marlene, I love outdoors ( when its bearable that is ) Yes Cayce’s predictions along with others have said the world map as we know it will alter.. We are not enough feet above a certain amount of sealevel and are approximately just about 100 miles from the coast. What will be Will be as they say, and all we can do Marlene is tend our own garden inside and out 🙂 and I think you are doing a remarkable job of purging!..

And Yes everything affects EVERYthing else for sure.. Many thanks Marlene for reading here.. My PC goes in for a wellness check tomorrow, so I will be quiet except for my phone which I am not very good at using the WP app, but Will give it a go lol.. As I don’t know how long they will keep it, it could be for a day or two depending.
Thank you again my friend and Much love and hugs your way too ❤ (hugs) 🙂

Love this, such vivid imagery. It is beautifully written, as though I’m in your garden, as I see through your eyes. 😊🌸

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
