Mothering Sunday, Spreading LOVE and LIGHT.

Flowers from my Children.

Today is Mothering Sunday here in the UK.  And while we share our Love with our Mothers, or in remembrance of them.  I wish also to share the love for the Mother of us ALL.. Our Earth Mother.. Without whom these beautiful flowers would not have grown to be given with love today..

I also wish to share this poem I wrote in 2012.. As we share love and Unity around our globe.. Never has there been a better time to spread the light.. And in doing so each of us can help create a better world..

Also I  want to introduce you to Tom’s Blog. Beyond The Sphere   Where he is sharing one of his creations, on  post entitled Sharing The Light

He invites us to share his Candle creations  upon our blogs as we spread the Light around the world as we embrace the Lighter Side of Life as we step out of the Fear… I have chosen this one.  I hope you go and choose yours, and let yourself be known to him.. I will add this one to my side bar later..

I know I have a few comments yet to moderate, and apologies if you clicked a previous post in your email on Mothering Sunday  that had an error message.. As I pressed Publish before I intended.

I hope you will have patience with me in replying and attending to moderate comments today, as I spend family time.  Ok here is the poem..

Enjoy your day whether you are Mothers, Fathers, Brothers or Sisters.. For we Are ONE.

 Earth Mother

We hear your cries beneath our feet

As upwards your blood rushes to greet

A New Dawn which begins to break

Earth Mother, oh Earth Mother We Awake

~~

We feel your tears as you cleanse your own eyes

We feel your winds as your sky heaves sighs

Each day spins faster as you vibrate

Earth Mother, oh Earth Mother We Awake

~~

We are united with a common goal

For we are One together One Soul

Each of us bound by the cords we make

Earth Mother, oh Earth Mother We Awake

~~

We shall let go of Greed and Fear

And it may be hard as we shed our tears

But our love for you we’ll never forsake

Earth Mother, oh Earth Mother We Awake.

~~

Our Wake-up calls have almost but gone

As we remember how bright we once shone

Renew our Hearts, teach us to Give and not Take

Earth Mother, Oh Earth Mother..

AWAKE!

Happy Mother’s Day, Sue. Thank you for sharing a candle; I have a problem with Pingbacks appearing on my blog, but your link works. I shall edit the post to link back here, but I’ll do that tomorrow. I’ve been out for Mothering Sunday myself and I’m back now feeling very tired, so I just have my latest post to publish and then I’ll have a nice night’s sleep.
And once again you have shared a lovely poem, really celebrating the Earth. Please let more of us awaken! Sounds funny saying that as I’m about to drift off to sleep, but you know what I mean! 🙂

Happy to share this Tom.. and have you got your own post set to pingback? It was ages before I realised what that meant.. until a few years ago and I altered my own settings lol. Hope you slept well and have a great week.. 🙂
Now I am tired as I spent the morning in the allotments.. Now I have to get ready to pick up a little girl from School.. So will be by the Mansion Later.. 🙂

Is Mothering day different than Mother’s day celebrated here in Canada the second Sunday in May? Just wondering as I have not heard of this before.
I am one with Gaia and Gaia is a living organism. Do we not recoil and attack back to save our lives? Everything you do to one person or to Mother Earth-sit back and think would you like litter thrown in your house or an oil spill to clean up or floor boards taken up to sell. I always think people wouldn’t. Would you do this to a family member. Your children, your mother your father
OK I am getting off track. Wishing you a Happy Mother’s day Sue. Hope your day is enjoyable and filled with spiritual gifts as well.

I started out with great intentions the other day to moderate comments, then the Sun came out and the garden called.. So I am hit and miss on WP at the moment.. As I plant seeds in the allotments, and hoe and weed.. Along with Pickup School runs for my Granddaughter.. 🙂 I was so tired last evening I went to bed at 8pm and slept like a baby.. But I will be sure to check it all out before Friday.. 🙂 xxx ❤ Big hugs your way my friend xxx

Sue, given our earlier discussions and your misguided thought I am enlightened (giggle/snort) I submit the first thought that came into my head as I read this,

“Yup, we can all be more careful, thoughtful, proactive in how we go about things, BUT, Mother is a Warrior and she just barely, barely tolerates us – It’ll be our own necks if we don’t straighten up and fly right….” – – LOL

This line of thinking inspired by Mother Nature in all her glory – the soil/seedlings/animals sent to my back yard for care/providing AND her gentle (or harsh) reminders that I know so little, after all, about the overall scheme of things – via wild mustard & bindweed greedy conquering of neighborhood areas – 🙂

Happy Mother’s Day to you! 🙂 (it seriously freaked me out when I first saw this post title – ACK! Mother Earth Day here, in April, Human mother’s day sometime in May and woe betides me if I forget local Mother’s Day activities – 🙂

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
