Eternal Friendships

IPhotobucket have attempted several posts over the last few days with the Halloween Theme.. All of which I deleted after spending quite some time on them..

I thought I would look back within my archives for Inspiration, when I came across an old post from my Windows Live Space days before I transferred the whole of my blog over to WordPress

You know how it is, when you are guided, and then something feels right.. I shed a few tears re-reading my post and the poem I had written for my friend.. And wondered why had the Universe led me to it today of all days..

I didn’t have to think long.. Tomorrow is the November the 1st. and it was my friends Earth Birthday..

I just want to send ALL of my new found Blogging friends Love and Encouragement.. what ever life is throwing at you at the moment..  And Remember.

Life is Short, Break the Rules, Forgive Quickly, Kiss Passionately, Love Truly, and Laugh Constantly

Below is the poem I wrote my friend she was 56 when she passed and she remarried when she was 55, knowing she had not long left for this earth..  They had a wonderful wedding in Hawaii and the following Poem is what I gave her, as I had nothing else but my heart to share.. I called it simply, Friends.

Friends

I sit here and stare at a blank page,

Knowing that words will be given through my faithful sage.

Memories are such a wonderful gift,

And you’ve given me plenty, my life you’ve enriched.

~~

The shopping we’ve done, until our feet ache.

Laughing at the fashions that home we did not take.

Drooling over books and paintings, the expense!

Buying silly trinkets that didn’t make any sense

~~

Memories are such a wonderful gift,

And you’ve given me plenty, my life you’ve enriched.

Remember the Christmas Market and the wares that they sold,

Treasures to wrap up in your heart, to keep hold.

~~

Remember the old busker, a child’s xylophone he did play,

Three notes were his tune, smiling, he made our day.

The talks of serious, deep mystical things,

The ups and downs, the shared memory brings.

~~

A beautiful Japanese garden did a day we spend.

The books we have read and to each other lend.

How else could I not call you my friend!

Memories are such a wonderful gift,

And you’ve given me plenty, my heart you up lift.

~~

The times you gently scolded me and my ways,

You are just as stubborn, slobbing away your days!

We can talk for hours and yet not say what’s in our heart,

Not wanting to admit to a day when we must part.

~~

Tears fill my eyes, as these words to you I send,

But I know that for all eternity you will go on being my friend.

Remember the promise, we to each other made,

If we should ever want to return here, hit me with a spade.

Your journey is before me, but distance will not part,

As the memories that you give me are forever in my heart.

Today is the day we remember our Ancestors and those who have passed beyond the veil..

Happy Birthday Pat..

Eternally within my Heart.

Samhain Blessings to you ALL

Sue

Beautiful DW..She was lucky to have you there in her life and I would imagine you were fortunate as well….Blogging has been a remarkable way to meet new people and forge new friendships with people you would otherwise never have known. The Internet was truly an amazing invention, I’m sure it was inspired by Creator to join us all in love and compassion and powerful friendship. Thank goodness for it’s presence in our lives as well as being a huge gift for the enlightening process. Hugs and love to you my friend….VK ❤

Such profound thoughts brilliant captured in the poem, indeed very touching and I am moved by the choice of words and weaving of emotions so subtle and done so sensibly. It is never easy and never so easy to encapsulating in few words, the way you have articulated and presented. Truly beautiful….

Friendships are boundless relationship, the power of good friendship, it is all encompassing, assuaging all our agony and silently listening to all our unspoken voice of pain. We all love to share our pleasurable moments, sharing is caring and they are there, as a part during the moments of melancholy without we asking them, they understand us the way we would have expected, they feel our pulses and they sense our mood…yes, every day and every moment we have spent with our good friends are priceless treasures. We feel value of true friendship when they are no more with us and we are lost and looking forward for someone to guide us, lift us and take us in the right direction

Yes, what is life without these beautiful moments of life etched in our memories and we love to recollect and nourish our soul with such beautiful experiences of past, creating a wonderful path for the future…

Indeed the quote of yours so truly and so powerfully embraces the essence of life and living; “Life is Short, Break the Rules, Forgive Quickly, Kiss Passionately, Love Truly, and Laugh Constantly…

    Happy Friendship!!!
Sue, I’m blessed to have known you…

Thank you so much Nahir… you said it so well… and Pat would agree, yes she would definitely as you so well said

they feel our pulses and they sense our mood

And I can sense her often as I hear her gentle voice within my mind, encouraging, and yes at times scolding me for not being braver.. But always filled with LOVE..
Enjoy Life, dear Nihar… The compliment goes both ways Nihar.. I am so pleased to have you as a friend here within my beautiful WP community.. All of us meant to meet and greet, such is the wonder of the Divine Plan.. 🙂

Thank you Mary… yes we sat in physical circles together 🙂 and she has let me know more than once her presence.. She taught me much about Mediumship and about myself and was the first one to take me under her wing as she was a reputable medium who served the Spiritual circuits here.. And was instrumental in my development and my own 20 plus years of service to the Spiritual Circuits of ‘Churches’ around the UK..
I hope you enjoyed a beautiful weekend too ❤

How I am crying over these words. Oh, Sue! One of the inner turmoils I have had to deal with is the fact my family push me away for the most part, not allowing for any real memories to be even created. The pain of rejection sears the soul when all the heart wishes is to love. My mother has only a small window of time left and instead of embracing those of us who want to be close, she and the “selective few” who are allowed in manipulate and control, stipulating when I and others may connect. The poem I wrote which I posted today was written because of this siruation. I have arrived at Peace, yet my Heart is saddened knowing how much Love these people are pushing away. I still have tears … ❤

Oh Amy….. I so know how that feels…. My own mother as I think you know stopped speaking some 10 yrs prior to her passing.. Despite repeated attempts from me… She was surrounded by siblings who wanted control….. Sigh…… They too dictated.. And when she became seriously ill… made it very plane I was not to welcome to visit in hospital.. And I didn’t wish to make matters worse or cause a scene in hospital.. My Brother bless him was a brick..and kept me informed. And held my hand at her funeral.. Which they couldn’t keep me away from.. Tears.. Yes… I so empathise with you.. SO much Love missed out upon.. Grandchildren too….My Mother hardly ever showed her love to me.. I was closer to my Dad… That was partly the fault..
We learn to find Peace, and come to understand, so long as we have love in our hearts, that is all we can give.. And both me and my ‘Higherself’ know the truth… despite all the lies which were told..

Love and Hugs dear Amy… I will be by later to read your poem my friend.. Hugs Sue xx

Please just pray for me, Sue, as I keep walking this out. Your situation is the exact mirroring of what I am now living. Instead of a brother, I have a sister who is keeping me informed. I have experienced every emotion I believe I possess, and now I focus on leveling out and staying in Calm and Balance, by concentrating on my Life. I’ve been really nurturing me, gaining my strength back. October was a nightmare and now that we are in November, I bring all those painful emotions, new and old, and bring them to Mother for resolution and Healing. I have been hit from one side to the other. Now, Peace. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love...
