Wayne Dyer’s short message made me smile So I wanted to share it as so many are chasing happiness, I wonder if we are looking in the right place?

Yesterday I captured some eating pleasure as I made this Recipe for the first time. Its nearly all demolished and has gone down a treat with cream for desert today.

I miss my baking! 🙂 I think life is full of happy moments and sad moments and it is up to us to love all of them unconditionally and make each one of them equally important 🙂 I think then we will achieve a kind of inner state of soulful happiness 🙂

You are wise as always Trini.. We would never know Happy if we did not know Sad.. both are needed within our experience.. its how we perceive and react to them .. And we have to remember not to stay in the sadness.. but to embrace them as learning as we move through them.. Without my sad moments in life.. I would not be who I am today… And I give thanks for all experience… its how we grow.. <3.. Much love dear one.. x

At the moment my happiness is inside Sanctuary, our big fully enclosed vegetable (and other things) garden. I have tiny baby drumstick trees (moringa oleifera) growing to add to our edible food forest of great diversity along with indigo for future fabric and fleece dyeing. I have macadamia nuts in pots that I am attempting to grow and it’s the height of our growing season with tomatoes and potatoes and all things wonderful growing with good speed. Blueberry harvesting and muffin making makes everything sweeter (pun completely intended 😉 ) so I guess that this is what makes me happy and is my “happy place” even though summer is not my favourite season (I can’t stand heat). I can’t watch the video at the moment as it’s 4am and I wouldn’t be Stevie-boys favourite person if I did but I will watch it later in the day 🙂

Hot, humid oppressive Tasmania at the moment thanks to a cyclone hovering around the top end of Australia pushing all of Queenslands weather down to us! EEK! I didn’t mind the rain we got though ;). See you when you arrive. Don’t forget, if we are out in the garden just put the kettle on and grab the biscuit tin 😉

Isn’t it wonderful to see how babies now develop quicker and seem to absorb so much more than our own children at the same ages.. I am sure they are progressing further into the conscious stream than we. 🙂 Their energy will need to be higher to cope with all they have come to achieve.. No wonder they look about them with Excitement.. 🙂 Just imagine being in human form.. Seeing, Touching, Feeling.. Amazing.. 🙂

A cute wee story 🙂 My happiness feels more like just contentment and that’s a funny thing because as one who chased for years trying to just feel happy, it’s not what I was trying to find but there you go 🙂

I am afraid since taking early retirement Wendy. I have been baking more than I should! and the Pounds have gone on around the waist line over winter, especially as the allotment has been dormant for a few months lol.. But I hope to soon get back in shape LOL…. And I will be making this cake again.. by popular demand… 🙂 Yes the story is quite profound.. so many of us chase happiness thinking its something we need to catch hold of.. 🙂 And Content is a good word.. I think I am quite content.. 🙂 xx

That’s one of the reasons I stopped baking, one already overweight lady kept eating it!
Yes we do think happiness is something to try catch hold of, which makes it rather elusive.
I like content, I don’t need to walk around smiling all the time but just realise I am ok with where I’m at right now. Two weeks off work has put me back home where I enjoy, just doing my own thing and that’s pretty lucky to be able to do that. xx

Thanks for sharing this dose of inspiration Sue. Indeed, so many spend a lifetime searching for their happiness when it was with them along, similar to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz when Glinda told her she always had the power to get home in her ruby red shoes. I also loved the picture in the video, reminds me of beautiful Arizona. 🙂 Oh and yum on the cake!

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
