Journey Within ~Poem

Vicar's Water. A Sanctuary for wild life

Vicar’s Water. A Sanctuary for wild life

Journey Within..

Come with me on a journey it starts inside my head

Create a place to dwell from all the Fear and dread

Close your eyes and behind them create a perfect vision

Build a garden full of beauty get ready for your transition

~

Sit upon the grass as sky lark sings above

Hold out your hand to feed the many cooing Doves

See the babbling stream as the young fawn drinks her fill

And listen to the Woodpecker’s distant woodland drill

~

Watch the tiny fishes as the light glistens from their scales

You’re now adrift in the ocean, as you watch the Humpback Whales

You listen to their song a lament as old as time

Each breath takes you deeper as your Spirit begins to climb

~

Now you are on a mountain its top all crisp and white

You fly among the Eagles suspended in effortless flight

Thermals take you higher as you travel within its ring

Higher yet you travel, more peace to feel and bring

~

Through the clouds you break into outer-space you speed

Looking back at a Blue Planet which provided all your needs

Weightless and suspended no longer feeling Form

You fly around the heavens exploring each star born.

~

Filled up now with knowledge no mortal Words could speak

You return back to your garden upon your grassy seat

A new sense of Peace surrounds you as you open up your eyes

You can return in an instant, just open up your mind.

We can travel anywhere we wish when we just close our eyes and allow our mind to relax in a meditation.. Breathe deep and create your perfect space…. The above poem I wrote last week as I recollected part of a meditation.. The view I have included is one taken on a regular walk we often take..Have a fabulous week.

Thank you for Reading

Sue

Well…that might be a slight exaggeration lol 😉 In fact it all went horribly wrong later last night when the new connection decided to stop connecting! Was going to cancel the contract in all of 24hrs but I was told I could transfer the sim card to my mobile wifi device and continue that way….now that is fast! I’ve cancelled the contract on the original long standing but not working connection and now am waiting for happier interneting to follow 🙂 At least I didn’t have to cancel 2 contracts in 1 day! I do however have to pay the final month on the one that’s broken and I can’t use!! Technology is a wonderful thing…WHEN it works!! xx

Yes!! Sometimes it is so hard for me to turn it off, Sue. There is so much fear it is palpable. I’m in a doctor’s office with The Momma right now and she started talking about ebola….everyone around us noticeably tensed up!! I need to meditate and “go” to the mountain top as you said to try to cleanse this negative energy. Much love to you Sue…I’m so happy we connected! ❤

We are being subjected to Fear again right now.. This has been tried out several times before.. Aids.. Bird Flu, Swine Flu, now Ebola.. Yet I bet the death toll of Ebola is not half of that of Heart attacks here in the western world.. Take a look here at the level of heart attacks in the USA alone..
About 600,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that’s 1 in every 4 deaths.

Yes, Sue! I agree. Having just sat in a cardiologist’s office all morning (I wrote a poem I hope to share soon) I can attest to those facts!! Fear can be so destructive. ..I literally have to deal with the world news in very small doses. ❤

The places we can go in our minds are endless, our abilities are infinity. The key to survival as I have always said is to tune out the illusion and tune into yourself! It is the confidence within that you gain that is beyond measure and it is what creates the reality in which you live. Good poem my friend! Love your way with words. I know you are living in your special world created by your confidence that all is and will always be just fine! Keep weeding and cooking and painting and enjoy 🙂 We are on the right path…. My love to you….VK

Sue, your poem was just what I needed tonight. I have been so busy I haven’t had the downtime I require to unwind. Now that I am seeing a bit of light at the end of a solid month of working here I can visit you regularly. This being a vision of your walks, I can see why you enjoy them so much.

Thank you.. sometimes Lois we have to look after the things which take priority and I fully understood you were way way busy with your house move and getting things sorted for your needs.. I Had thought I would have had loads more time.. Wrong.. as I got so caught up in projects around the home and alterations that at last we started.. So I too have neglected your posts..
This is a nice walk Lois.. and one of lifes transformations.. It used to be a slag heap… meaning it was on the site of a coal mine.. When it closed down in the 70’s the land was reshaped and trees were planted to cover the coal slag heaps and a stream was run into the valley to form the small lake which is home to fish.. The fishermen sit along the banks.. And there are walk ways winding through the trees and a bikers trail.. It is also where you see the Big Golden Hand on my about Me page.. The hand is a symbol of the miners digging and breaking through the earth .. Although the pit is closed it has the highest pit headstocks in tact still in one piece above the ground.. However to maintain them is going to cost the earth so its debatable if they will continue to stand much longer and the mine is now sealed and homes are being built above it.. http://www.alamy.com/thumbs/4/%7BB7913021-6809-4D72-9411-06CD0D4D558B%7D/BDY8FM.jpg

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
