Illusion.
What do you see in this Reality?
Do not your eyes view what is real to see?
Can you not touch the tangible fusion?
Or do we gaze into the ethers of illusion,
What trickery mocks us as we take in the lies
Binding our thoughts in roots of indoctrination
Following the herd, bleating like sheep
Held captive, half asleep.
What happened to the land of the Free?
Conform or suffer, or pay the penalty
What is your reality?
Come, let me walk you through the misty vale.
To where this illusion significantly pales
We are magnificent magicians whose thoughts cast their magic
Where all is possible, where to doubt is tragic
Seek and Find, let go of fear
Dance in joy as Light penetrates your sphere
For you have forgotten our Time’s lost spell
As into the abyss of darkness you dwell.
Open your eyes and open your hearts.
Let the Light dispel all dark
Fear nothing, hate less, and embrace ALL
Seek a new illusion before you fall.
Stop following blindly, grasp hold of Love today
Remember your tomorrows, forget your yesterdays
Reach for the memory held high up in the stars
And heal from within, let go of all your scars
Sit in the silence; begin to know who you are
As illusion drifts away revealing Ancient Stars
Your time is but a moment, live each moment well,
For soon the illusion shatters, broken like a spell.

I resurrected this poem which I published 4 years ago.. As it seems we are bombarded on all sides from the negative energies which are being put out..
Detach and spend some time in your Quite zones of thought.. Bring in the Peace around you, and know that we are Magnificent BEings who have remarkable powers..

What we Think we Create
We are the ones creating the chaos… So choose to create Peace.. Don’t allow yourselves to get caught up within the Fear being put out..
Know your time is but a moment, Live each moment well

Sue, how I needed to read these words. I have become so discouraged of late, feeling as though the “new” is not ever going to happen. Just yesterday I was crying out in frustration, that no matter how hard I try, my life seems to go nowhere. And the these waves ….. HOLY MOLY! I am trying to find silver linings in life at the moment. When I am dog tired after working really hard in the garden and don’t want to get up early because I am still sore from the day before I lay in bed in the dark for a while and give thanks for everything that life has handed me. For how lucky I am to be living right here, right now, for the beauty that is still here and for the possibilities for change that still exist and it always gets me up and motivated 🙂

Yes Narf…. me too.. each morning I give thanks for a new day.. and I only said to hubby the other day.. Thank God we were chose to be born in this pocket of space and time within the country and place we are in… I give my thanks daily for all of our blessings.. At the end of the day Narf. we only ever have the NOW to live in.. But many are so fearful of the future the Fear of their thoughts in the now are creating more of the same in their futures.. Love and Peace and Hope your aching bones ease.. Will be by to see what you have been doing to ache so much very soon. 🙂

That’s because most people feed the negative. On FB where I keep up with family and friends you have someone share inspirational quotes then theyshare a neighborhood fight. The fight gets more likes than the inspiration.

Christy.. SO pleased that my poem contributed to making you think about the subject of Illusion and Reality… We live in Illusion because we have created our Reality within our illusionary thoughts.. If I drop a glass it shatter’s the pieces are seen by those around who help pick up the pieces.. But How that glass was initially created was a product of imagination.. So our reality is but an Illusion.. 🙂 .. I used to do a colour blindness test when I worked in textiles Christy.. Lovely thoughtful poem Sue! Im glad you pointed out that we are also creators of the chaos. It seems to me that many of us do not want to take individual or collective responsibility for that chaos. We may be participating actively or passively, but either way we are participating, as long as we continue having doubts that we can create anything different. It takes much courage and determination to walk away from the heard and be something bigger than a sheep trembling in fear of wolves in disguise around just about every corner of our lives. War, illness and violence being the biggest ones… It all starts within ourselves and our families, whether we want to admit it or not. I know you often point that every change starts from within, but that is such undeniable truth. Blaming others never led us far 🙂 luv and blessings for your wisdom ❤ xox

Thank you Sooo much for this reply ST.. Yes I know I drone on about it all starting with ‘Self’.. but it is the undeniable truth.. We have got to start now and take responsibility.. It is no use blaming others about the state of our society if we ourselves can not alter our own ways to live peacefully. You only have to look within families, and close so called friends and colleagues to see how judgemental we can be.. Gossiping, criticizing and being argumentative.. Is it no wonder that Nations have their differences?
Standing out from the crowd can often be at first a lonely path.. But its amazing how your path then leads us to another and then another’s … Each person, each thought making a difference.. But its good to meet and gather like minded people along our journey.. We are after all, heading for that same final destination.. The more we can help along the route the sooner our collective goes home.. 🙂
