Swirl and Paint your Dreams

Painting Dreams

Swirl and Paint your Dreams.

Creating my dreams as I paint with my heart

One brush stroke then two, let’s make a start

Flowers and Nature swirled in the mix

Following dreams is a Happiness Fix

Rainbows delight while patterns unfold

Just follow your heart with brush strokes so bold

Focus on thoughts with love and with light

Creating my dreams is such a delight

Imagination swirls in your mind

Bringing forward a heart that is kind

To open up dreams is to follow your heart

Flying high once more you soar like the Lark

Summer Sun shines as your future unfurls

The colours your paint as you mix and you swirl

Your brushstrokes create the patterns of life

As you leave all your troubles and forget about strife..

Painted Herb Bucket Tub

I am relaxing as I paint, and I am slowly working my way through all of your comments upon my last post as I catch up with your blogs and the posts I missed.. For those I have not caught up with I will do so over the next few days… I hope you are enjoying the beginning of September, as Autumn starts to turn the leaves to her golden time..

Make sure each of your own brush strokes on the Canvas of life leaves lasting colour through the memories you make..

Be seeing you shortly

Love and Blessings

~Sue~

Sue!! It’s lovely to see a post from you 🙂 And a wonderful relaxed one too. Enjoying yourself and flowing with your colourful paints 🙂
That last sentence of yours immediately brought to mind the Bon Jovi song Pictures of you 🙂 It talks about creating a masterpiece on a canvas..hehe

We all of us start life with a blank canvas in this life’s incarnation. :-).. Some add a little more colour than others, but what each do is add to the creation of the experience within the painting… And each person will view art differently.. its all a matter of perspective.. So Shree… we all need to keep painting our Dreams.. for each colour we use we add to the swirl of consciousness.. 🙂

Your work here Sue, reminds me of the Eastern European tradition of painting upon enamel utensils and housewares. May I ask, what was the inspiration for you to work in this way?

    All best wishes.

Dear Hariod, I have only just started to paint pots this way… I started in the Summer the big pot you see on the bottom picture was one of the first I did… It was an old rusty tub we had in the garden.. I told my hubby I would like to paint it.. So he painted it Green with some odd paint we had left..
I then painted the Rabbit, and other animals birds etc you can see in more detail what is on these here ..

      Art~ Hobbies and Synchronisities

I used Acrylics and then put clear varnish over the top to waterproof them…
I then saw some metal milk churns and liked the idea of painting them,, So this is how I got into painting them..
And yes I hope to create some in the Canal barge style art.. I have tried a few roses in this style you can see in the lighter milk churn at the back with flowers on..
Many thanks for your lovely visit xox

Thank you for the link Sue – Blackbirds are my favourite! And of course, your work here is reminiscent of that found on longboats – I hadn’t made the connection at all.

I have a very large Milk Churn twice the size of these here which has a base coat in black.. I am working out as to yet what I want to paint on this.. I want it to be more the canal-boat style .. but want it to reflect Nature too.. So I am thinking on this a while before I set out to paint it.. 🙂

Oh my oh my!!… Now you have made my cheeks go all pink I am sure LOL.. Thank you dear Andro.. I was taught from a young age there is no such word as Can’t.. And so I try to master all I ever set out to create.. All be it to my satisfaction..
My Grandmother and Mother taught me the basics of knitting when I was a child.. It wasn’t until I was to have my own child that I set about re-learning how to knit.. I made many mistakes in the beginning, but thats sometimes the best way to learn.. You don’t repeat them…
I once upon a time around 20 years ago also laid some lino in the bathroom,.. I pulled up the old and used that as a template.. I must say I did brag about that achievement… 🙂 haha… As I managed to do a rather good job of it.. In fact it fitted better than the old one.. Hehe…. If we set our minds to it.. we can achieve anything…

Sorry my dear friend Sue,but I faced a problem I hadn’t experienced again.
At long last I found some spare time to answer the comments of my WP friends,on my two last ” warm up ” posts and when I tried to reply to yours,it was published in Aquileana’s space, presumably because she wrote her comment by answering yours … and commenting on your note.Have a quick look to see what I mean,if it is possible of course.I can understand that ” Time is Money … ”

I had written for you :

Thank you so very much for coming by dear Sue ! To be honest,I am almost a teetotaller, but it was for the needs of the post lol … Although I do not drink,I always want to experience the different tastes of beer especially when I am in British or Scottish pubs.Their unique ambiance adds something very special to their taste !!! My family and I do enjoy your country every single summer and there are so many things we can see and do there !!!
Have a brilliant day, love and big hugs ,Doda 🙂

PS : Please delete my comment here ( before it spoils your magnificent post ) and after you have seen what has happened.I do not want you to think that I ignored your nice and rich comment.Thank you beforehand, all the very best to you, xxxxx

I enjoyed your thoughts you have spun into a calming force of energy…
I should have put Sundancer here 🙂
but I thought of the Balance you create within each stroke, lighting the way for someone to understand as the wander in your art…Nature in the pure innocent form you capture in a moment of stillness…
    so I thought this one…

I love your art and you my Sister of the Stars…
    Take Care….You Matter…

I don’t either, it was suggested to me once but I am way to computer challenged 🙂
your art is so beautiful, I just think it needs a massive audience ….but I do my art for me too, in my “me” time, so I understand…

    Hi Sue,
I’m very far behind on blog posts so I’m catching up here going way back. 🙂 I love your painted pots, they are truly lovely and adorable and your poem is just the same! I’m glad you’re having fun channeling your passion through your talented painting, too! Wishing you a wonderful end to your weekend and a bright start to your week! Love and hugs! ♥

You and I have much in common. I, too, love to paint pictures on objects. I have a watering can and door stop I painted and years ago when I was young and had little money for furniture I bought a giant spool on which they roll the type of wiring they lay under ground for electric and painted it and used it for a table in my apartment. Brings back memories. 🙂

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
