A Letter from My heart to yours..

Dear Friends,

Where does one’s thoughts start as you try to make sense of the world?.. You can’t. All you can try to do is make sense of your own. And even that at times is hard to fathom.

I search my heart and often the tears will flow for no reason, other than such sadness sweeps through me at what we are doing to ourselves.

I pull myself up and give myself a good talking to.. Oh often!.. If you were a fly on the wall will you hear me talking away to myself. I am so blessed, very much so with the love of family, and try to send out my positive vibes to help add some Healing and peace to the world..

Is it the world’s tears I feel, or am I still shedding the layers of my own emotions? As I peel them off one by one.. Like the onion each layer releases its own toxins as my eyes sting from the injustices, the abuse, the suffering of many, the hurts of wounds unseen, I seem to take all to heart.. I cry inwardly within my moments of empathy for all whom I hear crying along with me.. Sometimes I wish I were not so sensitive, but I cannot and do not wish to change that what I am. ME.

And yet I also know all too well, that adding my tears solves nothing. It is only adding to the mixture of sorrow.. And I only want to add love and Peace to help bring about our own Humanities healing…

So I try to detach.. and often I am successful, I busy myself doing the things I love doing, painting, writing poetry, reading, Meditation, Qi Gong, gardening, playing with my granddaughter..

This month has been perhaps one of the hardest months ever for me. Perhaps it’s because I made the decision to retire.. We humans like to think we are in control don’t we?, The emotions I feel I cannot describe, as so many churn within my being. This decision took a Big trust in the Universe to go along with what I know felt right.. And I trust in its plan… and am ready to go along with the flow..And this step is a big one for me to take, and now it’s taken, I take the leap of faith to change.

We all Fear Change, mainly because we are treading upon uncharted waters.. We doubt and we want security… Trusting in something unseen and not tried is for many what holds them from making changes.. as they hang onto what they know… Much like the world right now, as we hang onto the old systems, the old ways, while all the while many are craving to break free of their constraints, as many are tied into the systems that hold them in debt that keeps them enslaved into the treadmill of toil… Life was never meant to be like this… Take a look around you.. Are you free?

I know I have my guides guarding my back, nudging me along, I just need to have more faith in me, so as if to let me know I am on the right path Synchronicities have already been showing up, I hope to explain about those at a later date.

I am writing from my heart as Its time to take a short break. I want this week to paint more.. and to just reflect and meditate as I allow my own inner healing to connect..

I thank you all for your kind and loving support.. and will be back to visit with my loyal friends shortly. Much love..

Love and Blessings

Sue

Yes Debra sometimes the world gets on top of our emotions.. and I allowed that to happen… I should know better, but there you go.. We are all of us at times vulnerable to emotional energy.. And I was allowing far too many things swamp over me..
Thankfully with time out and meditation along with refocusing on something that I love.. ( Painting) I was able to shift my mind and lift my mood for the wallowing feeling of helplessness…
Being positive is the best way I can help the world and ME. So big smiles…. and hope to be catch up with your this next few days xox Love Sue

Sue, what a time to retire, and maybe your timing was perfect. The world seems to be in such turmoil at the moment, worse than ever, and you may need your new-found freedom to sit with your thoughts and yes maybe even your tears to deal with the changes happening around us.

I don’t believe it is just the layers you are shedding at this moment because I am feeling it too and am having to work to stay positive and keep on doing what feels right in my heart. I hope you know I adore you and if you ever need to reach out I am here.

But I am now more balance and feeling stronger within my self.. As I also dealt with a few health issues which are healing.. So Yes I think I made the right choice at the right time for me..

    Dear Sue,
I feel your sadness and passion for change throughout your letter.I need to heal me now and let the world take care of itself. Actually healing me is healing the world, but by bit. I have decreased my world news intake over time as I get overstimulated and saturated with futile negativity. I so prefer the occasional human interest story about overcoming adversity, resilience, and paying it forward and other forms of kindness and generosity. Those stories feed me, rather than deplete me.

I can relate to your time of transition. I am excited for you and hinted at a major life change when I interpreted your chart, remember?? Take the time to recoup and re-calibrate. Smell the roses, literally and metaphorically. Do what you love and/or do no-thing.

    love,
    Linda

As ever Sue you find the words that others search for to express so well your feelings. If anyone deserves a rest then you do! A word of warning – when I took early retirement from multiple issues in 2003 I wondered how on earth I ever had time to work! I have a feeling that you may be a wee bit different since you are engaged on all fronts already. Have a nice rest Sue and paint and then come back to your many followers who all wait with love and open arms, in the meantime sending you healing energies. Much Love, David

Ah Sue….the day I have ventured back into WP….I read that you’ve taken a short break 🙂 But all as it should be, I’m sure. *big hugs* and I have missed you so! Good on you for taking that big step! Trusting and letting go to the flow is truly a big step. Thinking back to my journey, there have been times that I had to take a big step, and let go…though at times I feel that I may not have let go fully…sort of let go..a little 😉 But I am learning…I hope!

What the world is going through on the outside, is what humanity is going through in the inside. It’s even scarier when we come across those who tell us that it is what we are going through on the inside…each of us, meaning me, myself and I. You know? Yet…I see it. I see it with the anger and frustrations that I feel reflect some of the deep, deep issues I have and when I am not too tired, I ask for forgiveness and to allow it to be an opportunity to let go.

Sometimes I wonder..”My God….I certainly am carrying a lot of crap inside me!” but then…how many lifetimes worth am I carrying…

Hope you have a wonderful break and see you soon! 😀

Unfortunately it looks like the world just got more repulsive thanks to ISIS and it’s vulgar brutality. What sickness still prevails in the world. It is SO hard to keep marching forward when such violent setbacks are hurled at us. So much unrest going on here in the U.S. as well. One’s brain grows very weary after a while and one’s heart can only take so much. All I can say is this so called shift better happen pretty soon as most I know are now dangling from the ends of their ropes. Tears, while in sorrow, are also very cleansing…so let them flow. There are so many reasons at present for tears. But…as they cleanse…they leave a brilliant Light reflected in their pools too, so that we can see there is hope after sorrow. Nurture yourself and trust your path Sue. This moment is what we are here for. Blessings and Love!

Hi Sue. I have been through this myself so know what you are going through. I made judgments about it, had fear it was happening but stuck with the process and just let it happen. I think in this line of work we pick up alot of the energies of others who are not well and this is not just our stuff but that of them as well. Our sadness and sense of responsibility for them leads an empath to take on too much on top of our own feelings about giving up the work….I felt disappointment in myself for not being able to do it, fear about the future without a reliable income etc. Healing sometimes is raw, unpleasant and difficult at times but when we understand the process we know it will be ok … you will be ok. xxxx

Change is scary for so many — but I know you are guided by Divine Love, and as long as you are in tune, your evolving strength and wisdom will put you exactly where you are suppose to be — when you are suppose to be there. Being true to yourself, healing those areas needing balm will provide a ripple effect in the universe.

BTW — Congratulations on retirement. xoxo

The story of our lives…forging ahead, producing, reacting, loving, living and then stopping and gathering everything together and replenishing, replacing, re organising and girding our loins for the next phase. We need to be able to take time off, time away from the madding crowd on a regular basis to get that replenishing or we are no good to ourselves or to anyone else. Hugs and enjoy that replenishing Ms Sue 🙂

I sometimes feel sad and helpless about the suffering in the world, but hang onto the worlds of mother “Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time and always start with the person nearest you.” and that’s what I try to focus on and so you feel a bit more in control.
I hope you have a fantastic retirement Enjoy every minute of it and think of all the freedom to make art, write etc when you feel like it.
Chance is scary but it is also a new door to exciting new things Take care

Hey sister~ I choose not to put focus on suffering. Is this in spiritual integrity? I do not know? If I hear of suffering I send love and ask the angels to attend.

I am not taking a break but not summer break from school is over, and school starts today, so I will not be blogging with the frequency I have been during my summer break. Paint on friend.

    Much love~

its our world. we see pain everywhere and because we are sensitive tears come
Can we close our eyes and thoughts?? No we can
Because we are sensitive en emotional. And to protect ourselves we should close our eyes and ears. But Helas.
    Sue i wish u a peacefull weekend.

I can feel a lot of emotion in those words Sue,a veritable broad spectrum of emotions, change in your life, the fast pace of a world in turmoil and the feeling of helplessness.
Rein it all in Sue and return to the spiritual security of positive emotions.
    Wishing you well dear friend.

Yes a lot has been going on in my world recently Ian.. and I needed time out to gather my thoughts and my emotions… They are for the most part reined in and sorted 🙂 My last day of work was on the 31st Aug… and the next day I slept most of it away.. I think the tension and emotions just drained out of me, as I slept and slept… Thank you Ian for being such a great friend.. you so understand me.. 🙂

Congratulations on your retirement. I had to retire due to my health. It was hard at first but as I look back, I see the perfect order. Blessings and hugs, Barbara

Hello Barbara, your comment arrived on the day I chose to reconnect with the blooging world.. 🙂 Health has partly played a roll in my own decision making Barbara, But its time now to explore the things I wish to create.. We who follow our instincts know all things are as they should be, even though at times we resist change, ultimately there is only perfect order 🙂 Bless you and many thanks for the reblog Love Sue x

Sue you’ve made the best decision ever! It’s great to be retired!
I admire people who find freedom and happiness in retirement and struggle understanding those who find it is suffering 🙂 (except of course those who do not have good health and basic means…)
Out of all people You are the one I can see taking full advantage of retirement, letting your ❤ sing and simply being who You are. That's all there is, there is nothing else you can really do.
So when you ask: Is it the world’s tears I feel, or am I still shedding the layers of my own emotions? I believe you know the answer to that one 😉
I am excited about your retirement xox
