An Awakened Man~ Interlude

I may be quieter for a time, with posting, and getting to visit as I want to concentrate on more ME time this next couple of weeks.. I started to paint some more pots and I am going to be in the garden and out more while the weather stays good in between my day job..

So here are some of what I have been up to.. Painted Pots

Toadstool land

Toadstools

Flower Land

All things flowery

I am painting the flowers which I see around me and in my garden .. Moon Penny Daisies, Sunflowers, Forget-me-nots, Poppies and Fuchsias .. The pot in the centre was based on my Fuchsia plant  here.. I think I got the colours matched well..

Fuchsia

Now I am going to leave you with a video, you either love or dislike this man Russell Brand.. Last year he caused a stir with his interview on BBC News Night Spiritual Revolution interview, The video below contains many of his talks joined together in a 10 minute video. Listen to what it is he is saying and yes there are a few choice words in there too but we are all adults here and hear them on the streets regularly so my apologies in advance if this offends anyone..

Are you an Awakened Individual? I would love to hear your thoughts on what Russell has to say….

See you soon as you view the workings of this world and open your mind to what he is saying..

Russell is sky high on something … just look at his eyes … he would be put “into the back” and get a shot of Accuphase to make him sleep for 3 days on my unit so fast … with 5 security personel present to take him down … and then maybe I would be willing to listen to him and his views …

Love the post Sue.. I also would like to say the Russel Brand video was awesome. In contradiction to many perhaps I agree very much with the perspective he shares and would enjoy spending time chatting with him. Thank you for sharing the video and the links that came with it at the end, his interview with the Dali Lama was okay yet lacked the energy of the one you shared. Thank you for sharing it and your creations, you are quite awesome! 🙂

Yes I have to agree with you also Karen, for a long while I disliked the man, but then We only see what is portrayed… Do we really ever know an individual, and often if I saw him in a film, the film part would be eccentric and to be frank often obnoxious. Such we judge by appearances instead of what is beneath the cover.. I may do a post upon this subject as I feel a thought brewing!.. 🙂

Sue, I am so happy you are finding time to paint and enjoy the lovely weather.

As for Russell Brand, I was surprised to hear him in an interview early this year to see how intelligent he is. I am not necessarily a fan of his movies and after the roles he has played I didn’t think he would be that deep of a person. I watched the video and was saddened to see the one caption referring to him as having a Messiah Complex. How rude when all he’s trying to do is get people to think about the the bigger issues of love, homelessness and poverty.

Like you Lois, I was not a fan of his especially in his Films and pranks… We often judge a book by its cover, I was happy however to turn the pages and see what was hidden within his thinking. And like you was quite surprised to find I agreed with much of his thoughts within this video at least 🙂
Time has flown Lois and the weather is good.. I froze 5 pounds of peas and we have had lots of courgettes and strawberries and potatoes too… Its been good to chill in the garden and paint too.. I have deliberately detached from the internet, and have enjoyed my ME time 🙂

Sue, how wonderful that you have already been able to put up so much food already. so far the only thing I have put up are my strawberries. We ate the radishes and now I’m just waiting for everything else to mature.

On Russell Brand, he’s definitely inspiring. Because he holds nothing back his voice has spread and the youth who do watch his movies are now listening to his message and taking it to heart. He is changing the way people are thinking and that’s a good thing.

Sue, I have also taken a short break from blogging. I consider myself an awakened individual, simply because that is a path I chose for myself long time ago, and the alternative is always there, it’s just that spirituality is not an easy path (or ‘awakening” or how you may call it). We live in such a materialistic society that it’s extremely difficult to become awakened or to at least realise the alternative is always there. Also, “awakened” for me is a personal process for everyone. This is really interesting, thanks for sharing this.

Dear Maria, I hope you also feel refreshed from your own short break,
No path is easy, least of all the spiritual path.. but that is why we all are upon our various roads travelling our various routes… We have for the most part lost our way as the roads of Materialism had detoured us and led us down the paths of ‘Want’ and more ‘Want’. and while I so understand we came to experience the material world of ‘Matter’ we have forfeited Nature along our journey..
We trash her air and waterways, and poison and pollute not only our environment but our own bodies with chemicals and drugs from the pharmaceutical corporations who synthetically produce so called cures that create 5 more illnesses so more drugs are needed..
We each wake up in our own ways within our own time frames as we wake up to the damage with are doing to our planet and the human race.. You are most welcome Maria.. and thank you so much for taking the time to comment..

    Dear Sue,
My apology for not being able to visit your sanctuary for quite a while. I was away to Hyderabad, then I fell sick and now, thank God. I am back on my feet. I have gone through some of your blogs. Your thoughts are wonderful and the ‘Wake up’ call is most appropriate for present times. Look at the sky. the earth the oceans and water bodies; they are all polluted. Climate change is catching us fast. Our food is unsafe. Our medicines are poisonous. Our children our under stress. World is running after acquisitions and better and still better enjoyments. I wonder, where are we heading to? As for me I have I have gone vegetarian, eliminated all processed food from my diet and try to take as little as possible from the world to meet my essentials. It is said that to improve the world, one has to start with himself!

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
