I love the Lilac hat followed by the Poncho of the same hue and of course the Bolero. I would be proud to wear them all. 😀
You do beautiful work, I envy those who knit. I can crochet and would like to begin new projects.
I had not noticed this page before and am delighted I found it.
You are a very creative lady my lovely friend.

Aho.. my fine feathery.. I used to knit alot when my children were small.. My Grandaughter started the Knitting Bug in me again..Last year… She is my first and now One year old.. and a Joy….:-) I swing from Knitting crazes to Art days and baking days on my days off of work.. I can Crochet, but I maily do squares although I did once upon a time follow a pattern for a baby cardigan.. But found I liked my knitting ones better… You probably didnt notice before as I added a new Guest book and its shunted others on my header into view.. so Happy you found it.. And Yes the Poncho was a favourite and so glad you like them. 🙂 xx

A Lady with many talents 🙂
I immediatly noticed the white cardigan you had on in your post About Me..and wondered if you made it yourself… so I take it you did. I think there is another name for it but I haven’t a clue how to spell it.
Once upon a time I use to knit…but only finished the one thing.. it was a white jumper for my son for his Birthday.
The thing with me knitting is I cannot keep to the same paste… it is tight then lose
    and it looks dreadful.. then.

Maybe you should try Crocheting!.. I started with squares and made myself a waistcoat in the 70’s when mini skirts all the rage.. I moved onto Knitting when my children were born.. My Grandmother who was a great knitter helped me out when I got stuck and I have have learnt myself ever since with trial and error.. I remember when I first got married.. I knitted my hubby a Navy blue jumper.. took months of fine needle wool knitting away.. only to find when it was finished that the sleeves even though I had thought Id measured them correct hung down below his hands about 6 inches.. He never wore it.. and I undid it and made several jumpers and cardigans for my children out the wool years later.. Arrgh those were the days.. I Made my daughters and my own dresses too… it was cheaper then than the bought clothing.. So start small Tracey and move onto bigger things to let your confidence grow.. Knitting is an art that is becoming popular again with the younger ones.. as its fashionable again..

Yes why not, actually when I was a young laddie I could knit a bit you know, my sister was an excellent tutor and insisted that both me and my brother should learn the art of knitting, however I was only about eight at the time and being eight in those days meant that I was literally just a wee boy 🙂 😉 lol Not like today at all… And no I haven’t got a clue how to knit at the present time so I will sit back and view your expertise instead 🙂 Have a lovely rest of weekend Sue 🙂

I believe we can turn our hands to most things Andro if we but turn our minds to it also… My Granny used to say, there is no such word as Can’t and she was right… We CAN achieve and create should we put our minds to it.. .. Many thanks again my great friend 🙂 Sue

Thank you Bradley….. Many have lost the art of Knitting skills… but wool shops are springing back up again around our area, so I think many may now be thinking it cool to own a hand-knit, rather than shop bought knitwear.. Its becoming fashionable to knit.. But lots of families have now lost their knitting skills.. as its now no longer pasted on down from Mother to daughter.. or in my case my Grandmother to daughter etc.. 🙂

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
