Breathe In Nature

The Poem you see below, I wrote several years ago..

Nature Heals
~
Sometimes when the world gets too much
As our inner mind chews over such and such
Take yourself off for a walk
~
When the doubts roll in
Creating that internal din
Take yourself off for a walk
~
Breathe deep that fresh clear air
Release your worries and the worlds despair
As you take yourself off for a walk
~
Observe all nature and how she grows
Pick wild berries from among the hedgerows
As you take yourself off for a walk
~
Release the tension with every stride
Hug a tree, let go of pride
As you take yourself off for a walk
~
Ask Mother Nature to let you see
All of her wonders created for thee
As you take yourself off for a walk
~
Look to the skies
At the Rainbow she supplies
As you take yourself off for a walk
~
Nature gives and Nature takes
Balancing ALL as she creates
As you take yourself off for a walk
~
Peace fills the mind as time has flown
Blending in Nature as you have grown
I so Enjoyed My Walk!

This week as we see yet more restrictions come into play here in the UK. I was able to take myself off for a walk. And with my Granddaughters help we collected leaves… She made several craft items with hers.. With the leaves left over I made a collage of leaves… Beauty is to be found everywhere, even when we uncover those ugly creepy crawlies which live in the dark beneath them. ALL have purpose. We may not like them, but they are put here for a reason…

Remember as the Darkness unfolds it is also moving us out of our comfort zones. We often like to stay fixed in our safe environments, and not challenge the status quo. We become fixed in our ways and would sooner not look under the leaves to find those creepy crawlies of the world. Our experiences are also moving us to see beyond, as we dare look beneath the forest floor. Because every once and a while out pops some miracles, which we may have missed, if we had not been looking beneath the shadows of the Forest..

Magic Pushes Through.

The Magic will continue to push on through. Keep focused on the Magic and the Miracles that Life brings us. Even though at times, we have to face both the Good Bad and Ugly in Life. Know it has come to wake us up from the illusion of this Matrix, and to acknowledge our own Sovereignty of our own Health and Humanness. It comes to show us our mistakes, and it comes to show us how we can Create a better future as we learn from those mistakes…

🍁 It is time for you to turn over the first Leaf 🍁 I hope you collect many more along the Forest Floor… I will keep turning them over to see just what lies beneath waiting to be discovered.

Part 4 in the recent series to follow soon

Wonderful poem. I like that leaf collage. They are claiming spikes in the big C here again with the freeway signs telling people to stay home. As much as I don’t like heavy traffic and getting stuck in traffic jams, there has been a lot more traffic and I’ve been in a few traffic jams the past few weeks. It’s refreshing to see people ignoring the signs and our governess. We have the same magic mushrooms in the higher elevations. They need to work overtime these days.

The poem says it all. I am a Gaia boy since a young age. Go for a walk in nature has always calmed me down as much as other visits to different parts of Gaia calms me down as it does you from your poem.
Again a wisdom poem and yes magic mushrooms do spring up in a day. Ok that last statement should read mushrooms are magic ❤ I'll quit writing now lol

Life is everything, the good, the bad, and the ugly! But once we understand that the bad and the ugly only exist as additional ways to show us life’s versatility. We need to look at everything or we miss life’s magical ways to show us its (and our own) hidden treasures!

The poem invited and allowed me to rest into Mother Nature’s arms. Hug a tree, let go of pride – this line pulled me in humility as amazingly shown by trees, even the most magnificent ones don’t show any pride. I love the leaf creations, I am now inspired to make one for myself.
This magic will push through – I love this reminder, helps me relax in the knowing and trust the process.

Mother Nature always knows what’s best and being in the sunshine, fresh air, blue skies, beautiful colors of autumn foliage…is a magical healing indeed! The craft of leaves you show is also lovely. Great art DW…So glad you and your granddaughter had a special time together out in Nature! Healing in and of itself! Our fall was vibrant this year. Lots of dayglo oranges and shocking reds…Very beautiful. Much rain as of late, however, and now the leaves are coming down 😦 Oh well. Nice while it lasted. Stay well and I think its time we all begin to buck the system and be heard. Silence will get us no where. Be well and much love to you. Hope you have a great weekend ahead…Hugs..VK ❤

Many here still not turned, but the wind and rain now bringing them off the trees VK.. Agreed about the silence.. But too many not even ready to listen.. Enjoy your Autumn, and hope you get your own garden and wood sorted in plenty of time for Winter… I have a feeling we are in for a harsh one, in more ways than one… But I feel here in the UK we will have more snow here this Winter than in previous years… Just a gut feeling… There are plenty of Berries, always a sign bringing extra food for the wildlife..
Though I have had some weird things happen in my garden.. Several shrubs have had second flowerings which only usually flower in spring…. Nature is getting as confused as we are I think!.. 😉
Sending LOVE and Big hugs my friend… Take care.. Love DW.. ❤

I wouldn’t survive without my walks! They are magic for the soul😀Nature is a wonderful healing place to walk but there is magic in wandering through modern architecture too I find. It can transport you to future worlds and dimensions reminding that though times may seem dark sometimes there is still a future for us and it can be new and bright and filled with the different but still relevant in it’s own way, of technology and change and new ideas😊At least in the weird and wonderful mind of Icewolfie!🤪😀

Great to see you again too Sue! You haven’t missed much with my posts 😉 Think I’m a bit rusty to say the least, and I can’t get to grips with the new editor to things worse 😖You’re right though…we do always seem to catch up just when we need to don’t we! I’ve been thinking about w/p all the way though the months I’ve not been here, but with the world gone all strange and peculiar and covering for a work colleague who went AWOL just before lockdown as he was convinced we should be locked down like Italy was and controlled by the police and throughly fined if we set foot outside the front door till it was all over done with🤪🤯, I never quite got round to actually getting back to it all till now! And now I have we’re all in tiers🙃😷😜I am however, concluding this is an excellent place to be in time of crisis and trauma! (W/P that is 😊Not in tiers😄) Sendi g love right backnintonyour world too🙋‍♀️💖

Oh no😯Tier 3?😖 I was wondering from your posts if that might be the case. Wasn’t sure of your exact location. My sister shares the pain up in Rochdale and my mum’s in Tier 2 in Cheshire. Tier 3 is a horrible place to be and seems very cruel since as you say no one allowed in your home but so many other venues can stay open where strangers meet in closed spaces. I rage against the machine over this for everyone in this position. I’m currently in Tier 1 but probably not for much longer. Doesn’t matter though, I still rage for those in higher tiers. Especially when the rule makers break the rules with no consequence and they’re talking about the police invading homes at Christmas to break up family gatherings. Still by then we will likely all be equal in Tier 3 together to be isolated and controlled with threats of fines and jail whilst the elite rulers do as they please 😤 I hope you’re bearing up ok under the strain Sue. And remember there are NO tiers here on W/P! Here we can be together as much as we want so hopefully we can really each other and keep each other strong and sane through our time if trial and tribulation! Big Wolfie hugs and Wolfie love coming your way to offer a little boost❤🤗😀

Agreed dear Michel… This is a most poisonous one… Pretty but deadly…. My late Dad, would take me field mushrooming, I learnt alot of my Nature skills from him, and my gardening skills from him and my Granddad..
He knew exactly which ones to pick, and when we were children we would have mushroom steaks, some field mushrooms as big as small frying pan… We would also go collecting berries, and Hazel nuts… Making elderberry and elderflower wine… 🙂 Nature is both beautiful and at the same time dangerous… She teaches us many lessons… And one must always respect her…
Thank you Michel, I hope you enjoy a beautiful weekend also.. 😀

    Hi Sue,

    This verse resonates, thank you.

For me, ‘take yourself out for a walk’ has been synonymous with self reflection. This practice can really support if one perseveres.

Self Reflection could be a process in which one could stand at the edge of a black hole and nudge all thoughts, both good or bad, into that. Over time these thoughts then no longer hold their power over oneself and one gets the chance of transforming into one’s authentic self.

    Blessings

Walking, contemplating, and observing in Nature allows us to rebalance, as we focus upon that all powerful source of creation, that carry’s on growing, evolving, BE-ing without any help from Man-kind… And when we re-connect back into that space, we too feel connected back to Self…
Thank you Shakti for your own observations my friend… I appreciate your thoughts 😀

Wonderful words, Sue. None quite as nice as the ones you had/share about being with your granddaughters “With the leaves left over I made a collage of leaves… Beauty is to be found everywhere, even when we uncover those ugly creepy crawlies…” The collage is beautiful, and beauty can be so perfect and easy to see because of its beauty, but also even the ‘ugly creepy crawlies’ can be beautiful too when their shade of light falls on them 🙂 Nature has a way, as you always eloquently state, and yes it is healing – we just have to let it. Cheers to you and your wisdom, and hope all remains well for you.

I am so pleased I got that special time with my Granddaughter, for now we are in Lockdown measures here in my area again.. Where I am not allowed any one into my home or garden for a month.. the rules here are not making sense… As we can still go to gyms, hair salons, the cinema… theatres and libraries.. These rules are especially hard for those whom live alone.. My spirit has been weary of late.. But I am not allowing it to be broken, for that is the intent… I will rise…. like many more will, like a phoenix from out of the ashes… To rebuild A New Earth, once based on Love and Respect.. Not ” Dominance and Manipulation” 🙂

I am late here and everywhere but will catch up soon. I loved reading this. Yes, nature is a great refresher and shows us that the good, bad and ugly work in unison to push the Universe forward. Nothing should stagnate. Growth can be painful but it necessary on every level. I may end up going backwards here, but I’m thinking about you everyday. Hugs.

Dearest Marlene.. you are never late.. You arrive just when needed, just when the Universe needs us to meet my friend.. Growth is painful… and these new birthing pains are nothing new.. Nature is my saviour… and I so enjoyed my walk with our Granddaughter…
Sometimes we all need to take a few steps backwards, 🙂 in order to move forward.. Nature also shows us it has causalities along the way… Disappointments, as well as expectations. Nature shows us how the death of one, often provides life for many others…
And the world right now is fighting for its Life and Liberties… Happy sewing dear Marlene… much love your way and thank you for your patience… I took a longer break from blogging than expected.. ❤ 🙏💚

Hi Sue hope you keeping well, I just love this post so close to my heart. I to enjoy these quiet walks , only the other day I discovered two shine Beetles on a Dock leaf. Your lovely Grand daughter is wonderful she enjoys the Nature around her.

This poem is apt for the times right now. Times are doubtful and uncertain, but nature around us carries on growing, changing, evolving.

I read about the restrictions in the UK in the news over here in Australia. It seems things are tough over there and hopefully things settle down soon. That is lovely you went out on a walk with your granddaughter and collected some autumnal leaves – and such a lovely photo of your leaf arrangement. It’s amazing how leaves can last even after fallen from their trees. I remember at one point I put leaves in between books and used them as bookmarks.

Magic is there to be felt and turned into something that makes us feel at peace. The world may be in disarray, but we can always turn inward and listen to ourselves and look out for each other. Here in Australia where I am we’ve just come out of lockdown since March…but there seems to be a small resurgence of the virus in another state. We all need to be careful in these times and stay safe. There was lots learnt for me throughout this year living such a different life – and you know what, I don’t think I can go back to living my old life anymore. Hope you are doing okay over there , Sue. Hugs across the miles.

Good that you are taking care of yourself as the world gets madder… The world is changing at such a rapid pace, something new happening each day and that isn’t always the best for this planet. I am doing okay over here, Sue. Things are okay in Australia but hopefully we have all learnt from the past year…and most importantly remember what we have learnt moving forward with new ways. Take care.

This spoke to me in so many ways and also supports the goal I have set for myself to see beauty and magic in everything and every day. I love the poem and once again you are speaking to me from one dreamer to another. Have a wonderful weekend. Namaste 🙏🏼

Wonderful Rhapsody, … Living in the NOW of moments… I have had to tell myself that over and over this week… As I breathe deeper into my own slice of silence.. Apologies, my concentration has been elsewhere this week.. I hope to catch up with you very soon… Sometimes being Empathic has its down sides.. this week was one of them for personal reasons… So thank you for your patience in awaiting my reply. ❤ 🙏💛

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
