Searching Within Our Stories.

The Story Within: Image Source pixabay.com

The Woman closed her book resting her palm on the cover. She traced the words of its title with her fingers as she thought deeply upon all the words written within its pages.

She pondered upon all the books which had been written all over the world. She began to imagine how many words in all the languages around the whole world were held within their pages… Trillions no doubt..

She marvelled at how those words, first were thoughts, each one plucked from the ‘Ether’, ‘the Field’ of intelligence within the consciousness, from within the mind of their creators. Each a story formed in fact or fiction from imagination.

How expertly those authors weaved their stories into the minds of those who read them. Each touching you in ways which left imprints of their stories which could make you either laugh or cry, or form your beliefs as you delved into the archives of historical events.  So often the woman found herself caught up within those stories, she could hear the voices of those characters which were given a life of their own through the skill of the authors who had created them. As she too felt their pain and heartaches, their joys and happiness through words written on a page.

Looking at the closed book she thought upon the journey it had taken her through. But the woman also knew each had their own journey, their own story, not all were written in books, but each story was recorded none the less.

Every chapter of our lives held within the Cosmos, even those long forgotten. Each story telling a different version of ourselves via the different characters we inhabited, all fractals within the same book, held within the Cosmic Library,    imprinted within the conscious memory we held within ‘The Field’ that contains all things..

The woman stood to return the book from the bookshelves, she slotted it back into the space she had taken it from.. So many books!, So many Stories!, The victims and the hero’s, the emotional highs and lows… The thought of all of those stories in that moment overwhelmed her.. How many has she been part of?…. She needed air…

She walked outside, as a cool wind blew her hair from her face as she busied herself refilling the bird feeders with nuts and seeds.  She instantly felt refreshed.

Even the birds had their stories, she watched them now as she retuned inside how they were now squabbling as they jostled for their positions on the feeders.

What was it we all wanted from our Stories?…

Some humans were just like the birds, jostling for their positions, as they climbed their ladders of success, pecking at anything that threatened their territory or position. While others more timid watched and waited for an opportunity to arise, side-stepping the aggressive ones.

Humans were far more complicated than Birds, surely?

She wondered what would stand out most in her own story? One thing she did know, she now understood what words she needed to create which would be written within her own final chapters.

The woman wondered if others knew what they were busy creating within their stories?….

It all began with a thought after all..

Their own endings depended upon what they were concentrating upon.  She hoped they were visualising a Happy Ending!..

Perhaps she had already done too much thinking for today.

How could one ever begin to explain a Quantum World of Metaphysics when so many were squabbling over nuts.

She returned to her bookshelf and plucked out another book…

Another Story, for another Day…

An infinite number of stories written, in the process of being written, and yet to be conceived. So many, yet each one is special. I am always humbled when I feel the connection to the source of these tales. The Weaver of all that is. Beautiful words for a Sunday, Sue. Thank you so much for sharing your story. —- Julie

Ah! I love it!! Dear Sue…seems we are thinking similar things this beautiful day! I love your post, I love the idea that books are written and yet every story is preserved…somewhere! Each day I become more aware of my story…and I think quite a lot about how my story becomes a tiny piece in someone else’s story…and that continues on and on…and the sheer magnitude of how we interplay and become so important in EVERY story is truly magnificent…can only be borne of the Magnificence of Creation!!
Sweet blessings to you on this beautiful day ❤ ❤

But let me say you do have a gift to enter the mind and heart of others and turn those negative thoughts into something so much more beautiful, so much more thoughtful. Thank you so very much… I am overjoyed with your comments Holly and wrote these words the early hours of one night last week.. I searched longer for images to go with it than it took to type up from my journal.. 🙂 Then remembered I had the perfect bird image already in my archives.. 🙂 A post I think was A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.. 🙂 or something like it.. 🙂 As I healed it from knocking itself out from being lifeless, I gave it healing in my hand..

We create our own stories Sue… yet some are written by destiny! A bird who tries to fly too high gets exhausted while the one who sits and sings to enthrall people around her too is happy. Ah! happiness… such a subjective word yet with so many interpretations! My thoughts are going in many directions…must write a poem about them! Thanks for the inspiration dear friend. Have a wonderful day.

You have such a lovely way to express yourself, dear Sue.
You are right, everything begin with a thought, why it also is so important to think positive, as we send all our thoughts out in our world, just like we do with healing. The more souls are doing the same in the same hour, the more effective it works.
This little bird found you, as you only send out love, which language animals fully do understand.

True to life story and beautifully told. I like these lines most as they fit where I am at the moment. How could one even begin to explain a Quantum World of Metaphysics when so many were squabbling over nuts. This is so true. I write things on other people’s comment and they ask me to explain what I wrote. If they don’t get then they don’t get it. It is the journey I took. If I didn’t understand I would go seek the answer on the internet. You are right you can’t explain to others unless they are at a place to be inquisitive about what you are saying. Also if they are at that place in their journey to understand or to begin to understand, You always have the most interesting pot and to make one think. Be well my friend and stay being you. You are a light upon the world. ❤

Big smiles with you Joseph.. Yes so many petty squabbling going on, when we know so much… Lets hope people will soon wake up to themselves… And while I will still keep trying in my own way to explain to others how this world works… Some will never ever get it… But if one more person, just suddenly opens up their hearts and begins to see from a different perspective, I will have done what I set out to do..
Many thanks Joseph for your lovely compliments my friend… There are many more brighter lights than myself in the world.. But if I make someone ponder even a little deeper, I am happy that the flicker of light I sent there way ignited a spark within them for futher investigation.. 🙂 We can only plant the seeds.. Its up to them to nurture themselves and allow themselves to grow.. 💜 🙂 💚

Oh yes! I do hope and pray for a happy ending, but then my mind wanders off again into negative ‘WHAT IF’ territory. Once while walking through the woods, a very stern look from a bluebird reminded me that if I don’t stay focused on the positive, I will see only negative. I know I need to be happy now, and stop anticipating (rather fearfully) the unknown ending of my life story. https://storieswithnobooks.com/2012/10/10/bluebird-of-consternation/
    But…Oh No! What if?
Sometimes the creative mind is a wonderful blessing, but at other times–it is capable of creating imaginary scenarios that can make a nightmare shiver.

Many thanks Mary, That little word IF… What…. and Only, have much to answer for…
Those of us with creative imagination find it difficult at times to erase the stories held within our minds.. What we need to do is understand that our Hearts also contain Memory, and when we engage our hearts instead of our Heads, we begin to embrace a different type of reality..

One which we begin to fill with love, rather than holding onto suffering.. Or seeing only the dark side..

While there always has to be two sides within our duality, for we cannot experience one without the other.. Its what WE FOCUS upon that we Create.. So May all of your Dream-time be filled with rainbows, as you let the Nightmares go.. And thank you for the link..

    Hey Sue,

In the quiet still hours when sleep eludes you, when novel thoughts, novel ideas, and novel words flutter like a kaleidoscope of bookish butterflies, I know you hear them knocking on your writer’s door? 😉 Why not give them life and permanency between the pages of a book?

Be bold, be brave, be true to yourself, let the words flow and the adventure begin in earnest my friend!

    Hi Sue,
Now I have a story to tell you that I think you will find magical. I am currently watching a video on Synchronicity and it is near the end. The speaker is discussing how to invoke more synchs into your life. I see this image of a book that looks very familiar to me and I remember your post today. I come back here and see it is the exact same image! So the story within the story is I am getting a synch precisely while viewing a video about synchs. And it includes you 🙂

So here is the link: http://montalk.net/audio/294/synchronicity-meaning-and-quantum-origins

Perhaps this happened because you are meant to view this material? and/or because I am being shown the power of consciousness.

    love, Linda

The BOOK is very significant Linda.. and the Universe has been prompting me left right and centre since the New Year on BOOKS.. So much so I even joined a book club.. But I have been thinking on a story I wrote a while ago, which I need to revisit again and work back some more ‘Magic’ within it..
Thank you so much for sharing this Linda.. I know our thoughts have at times been in Sync before with each other… And this again just shows me how the Universe works in unison… Each connected to the other… I look forward to reading in deeper detail your link.. I did find the same picture as I skipped through to the end of the video…
Sending love and Blessings Linda… Have a wonderful Day.. ❤

        Hi Sue,
Thank you so much for letting me know more behind the significance behind that powerful book image. Have you had a chance to revisit that video on synchronicity? It has that ” something extra”. I began to move into a different zone for a few hours after watching it. I have done plenty of reading on synchronicity and have experienced many many synchs and yet, I did not know the deptchh and complexity described here.

You are correct that we have synched before. Years ago I visited you ( or you visited me) in dreamtime. We are in a very potent period now and I see potential for more mystical openings if we can move past the pain this period also delivers.

        love and peace, Linda ❤

And to push a point still further Linda… the comment right above yours on my reader’s list is one from Truthaboutmentalhealth’s blog on my Gardening blog that is pending approval over there.. But I will share what she says, it made me smile as it shows just how Synchronicity is working in the strangest of ways.. The post over there is November Rains brings yet more Floods..

“Love the knits! Very good! The strangest thing just happened.. swung by your blog haven’t been here in a while .. reading the title November rain and floods then the roof of the library I’m in just had a major leak and water came rushing in.. missed me by an inch! Ha the synchronicity!!

She is suppose to help me publish a poem book this next summer. They say if you do not want to write a biography of your life write a memoir of your life which are just the highlights of your life. It is actually fun to write about yourself. My childhood was very exciting – as we moved constantly around the U.S.

So often we get stuck in our stories and forget we can change them at any time. It’s crazy how that happens. Especially if there is suffering involved.I truly wonder and always have, why humans are so afraid of change…Somewhere along the line we were programmed to fear change and keep us cornered in our lives. Maybe the books we read should have more characters involved that enjoyed and pursued change. lol. The answer lies somewhere. But where? Thanks for these great words DW. I enjoyed it a great deal. Happy week to you and hubby….Much love…VK ❤

Yes, we who understand, know we are the creators of our own stories and we can change them at anytime… Once we believe we can.. And those who can break free of the programming of fear, can soon turn around their thoughts to manifest their dreams… One only has to set in motion a belief its already done…
As I type these words they prompt me to listen carefully to the words I write.. As I
begin to think of a deeper creation of my own..

Until the story of them is learned and they then move on to another tale..

The power of our thoughts is still underestimated. A thought is the beginning of a journey. The more aware someone is of this the wiser those thoughts may be chosen. It is fueling a fire in the heart when letting this truth sink that all great things began with a thought and the strongest encouragement to hang on to that what we think can become visible.

Stories …. how many parallel stories we each have within one timeframe in our life we live now. Stories within stories circle all connected to form the one timeframe. How intriguing and intricate each story is that makes our Story complete.

I like nuts, but it’s good to remember there is much more. So many possible thoughts, stories, and levels of being. Each moment we choose: peace? adventure? Feeding birds? I’m thankful for every opportunity, for balance, and your insight.

Each person has a fascinating story… and the endings hopefully have happiness to them… I do love books so much! I am thinking now of putting down my book and musing on what has happened as well as what is to come… A beautiful post, Sue!

Sue, your story captivated so many of us with its human simplicity and yet complexity. Thank you for sharing…we all have stories, chapters and you so eloquently reminded us. I love how realistically you write. The gentle moments, tracing the book title etc., is what makes the story even more profoundly touching. Beautiful, truly beautiful. xo

Wow! Sue, a superlative post and what a story … of stories! 😀 At times it’s overwhelming how many there are, endless and I too ponder the stories of those without words, making them up in my mind, writing some down. Even just our own story seems too much to fathom at times … easier to immerse oneself within the words of a book instead!😀

I agree dear Annika.. sometimes it all becomes too much at times.. And that is why we often turn to Mother Nature as we allow ourselves to ‘breathe’ in the simplicity of just observing and BEing part of everything.. No pressure to be anything other than the Observer, at peace within her self..

Many thanks dearest Annika.. for reading so deeply and your appreciative comment my friend..
Happy Reading my friend.. ❤ ❤

I enjoyed this story about stories. We do create our story and effect other peoples stories or recognise ourselves in a story. I love stories and sometimes go to storytelling nights. I think when you write a story you do that with care so we should write our life story with care as well

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
