The Edge of Time.

Standing on the edge of time

Looking back on what once was mine

I see the fragments of my soul

As I lost sight of all of my goals

~~

Each Earth decent, I’d start anew

With plans created through which I grew

To Parents born, plus wounds to bare

Each Lesson learned, I’d climb the stairs

~~

Every step, a blueprint plan

Through Aeons of time in many clans,

All with one objective held in mind

To re-connect with self, to find

The part of me I thought once lost

Of which I strove at any cost

To connect the pieces that were lost and gone

That allowed me now to join as One.

~~

It was then as each life I saw

In separation, fallen, trying to even scores

I saw the struggles and suffering pains

Of Karmic Balance, and Human Blames.

~~

Compassion swept through my human lives,

As I witnessed Triumphs, the Highs and Dives,

Each leading me to the Point of Now.

Standing on the Edge of Time. – I bow

~~

For now I see, I was never broken

I was a scattered seed, now awoken

Reaping all of Aeons Past

Now I’m Whole- And Home at Last..

The photos are some taken at the end of November on my trip to Scotland.. We woke up to snow this morning here in England, but I am as snug as a bug in a rug.. Wishing you all a wonderful Weekend.. And thank you for all of my new subscribers and for my faithful friends who stick with my comings and goings..  The poem I wrote the day before my trip.

Much Love to you all and have a perfect Weekend

~Sue~

Thank You VK. I am sure I am much more work to do upon myself as yet. But at the moment of writing this poem, I felt something deep shift within me VK.. And seeing the world as we stand on the edge, looking back in. I see just how lost so many are as they strive to find that which makes them whole.. They are looking in everything external to themselves, when all we need do is travel within. And all that ever has been has been ours all along.. ❤ Hugs xx

Right you are DW, but the question is “How long will people stumble along before they grasp the importance of going within? I hope they get it soon for their sakes. The mind control is fierce right now in their sick efforts of keeping hold of us and as we know people are NOT getting the truth on the TV…Amazing battle raging that is for sure. I’m just keeping busy trying to save myself….Snow flakes are flying and temps are plunging. First fire to take us out over here( California) now we go into ice and sudden below zero temps. It’s a miracle we are still in one piece. Onward as always DW….VK ❤ 🙂

Yes, snowflakes flying here too this morning VK.. So thinking of you.. And we can not change those who are not ready for change.. So all we can do dear VK is say our piece, alert them to think deeper to the workings of the world.. And then work deeper still upon ourselves.. It all starts with ourselves..
Let the ripples begin.. Love and Hugs dear friend.. ❤

Yep…It seems I concentrate on one thing these days in my messaging. For people to think for themselves! If they think for themselves they don’t need any messages because they will know to ask questions and they will hopefully find the answers. These times seem to me to call for ‘basics’ and to me that begins with interacting with life and learning all the details that make us who we are. Hey, we all started someplace but time is urgent now, people have to get connected with themselves again. We could all put out a zillion messages but if the other persons mind is not open to receiving, that is a waste of energy. You can’t rush a seed to grow and bloom. So the basics in my mind is just to leave people somehow with a desire to think for themselves, discover who they are,and exercise that brain and get opened up….It’s happening, it’s just being over shadowed by the evil right now, but it will balance out soon I hope 🙂 Hugs and love to you. Have a good week…VK ❤

Yes, the old saying is ‘You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make it drink’ and that about sums it up,
We are all of us on our various levels of awareness, You and I along with a few more here who follow our blogs, had our awareness opened a couple of decades ago, if not longer for some of us.
And we had to do all the finding, researching and reading and BEing, to bring us to the state we now KNOW is happening right now.
We can only tweak the edges to make others question and seek answers,
Now all we can do is work more deeply upon ourselves.. I have lots more wrinkles that need tweaking out lol. but they are getting ironed out one by one as I go deeper still..
And who knows VK.. We may one day meet on the Edge of Time and give each other a satisfied hug. 🙂 Lets look to that, and the next journey in store for us.. ❤ ❤ ❤ Mega Hugs . Keep warm.. Its given minus 12 C here for most of the day.. Very Cold out.. xxx<3

You wrote so much in such a beautiful poem, dear Sue. The photos are amazing too.
On the way to find our inner self, we learn so very much and often I feel, that I learn something, as I before thought, that I already knew much about. That’s life.
Wish you a beautiful and peaceful weekend, dear friend ❤

We do indeed learn so much as we travel through our inner selves Irene. Seeing BEyond that which we are, and understanding comes when we see no one is actually broken. We are all on various levels of learning, as we negotiate our Earth Life. We have all been given the ability to choose, and seeing that each choice, led to an experience, that no only affects ourselves, but those around us. Seeing that Balance has to be regained, and understanding from seeing that what we may see as suffering, is often re-dressing that imbalance from Aeons past.
To see the world, and how our Humanness works, takes lots of fathoming. But every now and again, the Light bulb comes on. And I feel those in Spirit were showing me with the words they inspired with this poem.. Showing me no one is what they seem to be. And that we are all of us on the same journey. All be it some have not yet awoken to the fact, we are all One..
Wishing you a relaxing weekend also Irene.. It is below freezing here this morning, and expect to yet snowed in tomorrow if the forecast for the weather is anything to go by. We have an Amber snow warning.
Love and Hugs and you too take care.. ❤

Thank you, Sue. Between one and two weeks ago, they said, that more than half of Spain got snow, so there are snow here now, just not where I live.
The only thing, I can miss in the winter here, is insulated houses. They are build to keep the warm out, which they are good to…..
The most of the year here, we do have nice weather, so I will not complain, just wish for more insulation.

I think that has to be my own favourite Line too Balroop.. I am looking forward to catching up with you also over the weekend.. Like many of my poems, the better ones which touch upon a spiritual theme, because the pen flows and never makes a mistake that I have to go back and change.. I feel these poems are inspired Spirit side.. And I had been doing some deep thinking prior to this poem being born.
So it captured many things, which I had been pondering upon.
I hope you have enjoyed your own break away Balroop and look forward to my catch up with you.. I know upon my own return, I sat in my reader for practically a day..Not good for the circulation LOL 🙂
Many thanks for your kind response Balroop.. You always leave me such beautiful feed back.. Thank you ❤

Wonderful poem, Sue, and the pictures are just surreal. You speak so fluidly about the whole cycle of karma and birth, learning the lessons that are meant to be learnt, finding and reconnecting with the lost self and finally realizing oneness with the Whole. It is beautiful. Stay warm and enjoy the weekend.

Thank you Somali, I feel the fluidity is driven by Spirit, for often these in-depth poems are written as I wake up in the middle of the night.. I always keep a journal by my beside and I just allow the pen to flow.. Not thinking of what words will come.. And the poems born this way are usually deep and insightful. So I feel Spirit Helpers or my HigherSelf is busy nudging me along 🙂 to which I am grateful.
Many thanks for your kind feed back Somali, it does indeed encompass the whole process, as we explore our Earth incarnations..

Great share thank you Sue. Our travel through time to find ourselves. It is amazing how all the cycles ask us to ‘look’ out there, only to come back inside to rest in the discovery it was always there.
But that is part of the journey, to understand the outer so that we will really appreciate the inner once found ❤

Yes isn’t it Mark.. Never fails to make me smile, as we busy ourselves collecting possessions through ‘Things’ ‘Relationships’, ‘Promotions’, you name it, it order that we feel better about ourselves, Thinking these ‘Things’ bring about those lost feelings, as we became separated.. And we strive to come back to that Oneness, not understanding that the happiness we crave for is right inside ALL along.. It is wonderful that when the ‘Penny’ Drops, and we understand this journey was all about finding our Inner Self.
And the weight of all that we carried just vanishes.. 🙂
Thank you Mark, for being part of this inner journeying with me. It is wonderful we are both discovering it always has been inside of us.. 🙂 ❤

Delightful poem and with such a deep profound message. The photo of the rainbow encapsulates the poem that you have arrived. So true with our free will we are easily doing the blaming pointing fingers at others when it is our fault and to notice this marks a person who is enlightened. What a wonderful Journey you have had. Stay warm and stay smiling.

Thank you Joseph and so pleased you noticed the rainbow photo was meant to portray that Ocean of Oneness 🙂 I took it from the ferry as we went over to the Isle of Mull. and on the way back the weather changed and the clouds came down.
Yes you are right.. We point and blame, and for those not awake to the things we understand, it is hard for anyone to grasp the complexity and yet the simplicity of our existence. In that we reap that which we have all sown. And none of us can change another, we can only change ourselves.. And that within each of us is darkness and light. And its all about balance, and seeing we need both in order to move through this experience.
But we get trapped by our own forgetfulness, and so keep repeating, and travelling within the ‘Sacred Hoop’ 🙂
The journey is only just beginning Joseph.. 🙂 💚

Wow, Sue! This poem reached deep in many ways… poignant, powerful, comforting, encouraging. Amazing! Yes, even though we think we are shattered, broken, failed, it is only another way to put our parts together in a new way or add new parts which were not seen before we cracked open. We are the sum of all of our history… and always progressing! Thank you for this poem, Sue 💖

Thank you dear Erika.. Yes, when I sit and really think about the words in this poem, I see how we choose.. We not only choose prior to our incarnation, our parents, and how their influences will impact upon us. But we also choose to hold onto our pain, our anger, our feelings of unworthiness.. ( the story about bullying ) I see how I chose to hold onto the feelings of unworthiness, because of the conditioning of others, their opinions of me. We choose to hold anger, guilt, bitterness, all of the emotions we come to experience, forgetting one important point.. That nothing and no one can ever really hurt us.. ( as you yourself touched upon in your own amazing post the other week which I read.
When we finally wake up and get that, and when we really understand about Love and self love, we become liberated from all that we have built around ourselves..
We not only have this lifes layers to contend with, but those which we have carried in our Ethric, A mammoth task of shredding, shedding and peeling the layers..
I am sure I have many more layers hidden. But with each peeling, I become lighter, and I feel closer to the ONE, to whom we are all striving to ascend back to.
Its a journey and then some..
But not impossible.. and the closer we come to loving ourselves, the closer we realise, we are all of us One and the same.. All ‘Fragments’ seeking to Unify back into Unity Consciousness..
Many thanks Erika.. I am blessed to be on this journey with you my friend 🙂

Sue, this would make a fantastic post itself. Yes, we hold on to so much and often it takes us so long to understand that we hold on. We think we got it but still the grip is strong. The true realization that we are more than our body is such a big insight that we generate a power and courage that we rarely back off any challenges anymore which help to peel our layers.
I am so blessed to be on this journey with you too, Sue. It is such a wonderful confirmation that the direction couldn’t be better 💖

We think we have problems and then the younger generation, our children, come to us asking to us for solutions to their problems. The circle never ends.

Learning to see beyond that which we create for ourselves, in our material world of gathering our possessions. It is hard especially as today’s world is geared up for us to feel we are living in ‘Lack’.
The young especially are bombarded with advertising, from what fashion to wear, to what I-phones to own and what music to listen to. Nothing we may say is different from when we were younger, and wanting to be up to date and modern. Yet today’s world gets everyone in debt so much more quicker, as it encourages our young, from their student days to continually be in debt. We would work to save up, while they go get a loan..

The cycle I speak of is seeing how we are held prisoner in our spiritual evolution. We do not realise how ‘trapped’ we have become in our Material plane, as ‘we’ as in the collective ‘We’ seemingly hold more importance for our ‘Things’ than we do for ‘People’. How many times Profit, put before People? And we have lost how to connect with our selves.

The world now revolving in the digital age as we immerse ourselves ever more deeper within our fragmented selves, as we fail to engage with one another and with nature. Our Earth is in dire straights, yet our politicians seemingly go deaf and blind to the damage we do to our planet.
And sometimes I wonder, at all that is happening as our material world is being shaken. That we are being reminded to come together, in compassion and to see beyond our differences.. We are One, All human beings, all striving, however lost we have become, to reconnect back to our hearts. That all too often have seemed to have closed down to those, whose own acts which are often reflected in violence, have I am sure, just lacked Love in their lives.
We have to try to break the cycle, but we can only work upon ourselves. And learn to nurture and open our own hearts in love..

Sending Hugs your way Ronnie, and many many thanks for reading and commenting.. Love Sue ❤

Yes out of all the lines in the poem Marlene, this spoke the loudest to me also.. Seeing myself often as ‘broken’ I am sure those in Spirit were showing me yet again through words, just how we perceive ourselves often to be. When in fact we are not broken at all.. We are All aspects of Self.
I was reading something the other month, which for me opened my eyes even more, to that which we both know, but often times while we know it, we cannot understand it. And that is why some seem to suffer, especially those whom we perceive as innocent. A hard nettle to grasp..
The Poem, written in the middle of the night, which flowed, so I knew It was being given me.. Confirmed to me, no one is broken, but we are all an integral part of the whole, each piece perfect. It is only we who judge with our imperfections, and our ideals of what we term as perfection.
We are all growing, via that which we have been and are yet to become.. And we are all of us heading home.. via one pathway or another.
I hope to catch up with you shortly Marlene. ❤ I am happy this resonated with you dear friend.. ❤ Sue ❤

Dear Sue such a profound reflection of life gone by and the way when look at the life ahead, it has so much to do with the things that has brought us here. Time is everything and life is entirely peeped through the window of time. Imagining life without the time scale is though fascinating to look but therein stops the imagination taking any further ground.

The place we were born and the parents to whom we are born has so much bearing the way we have been today as we stand, and it is one such part of the world where we reside and family that has so much do with the way we have led our life so far and the way we grow as person has it’s anchoring on the way we have build our relationship with our parents and also the way we have nurtured our own family.

    There is struggle.
    There is compassion.

Life is how we fight out these problems and how we manage to navigate ourselves out of such struggle and come to the shore. Love and compassion makes such journey more meaningful and there is purpose in the way we live our life. Life is not just merely moving on a vehicle and completing the life’s journey, it is about pausing, observing, questioning, reflecting, learning, unlearning and taking time for others to spending time with self.

Standing on the edge of time, and discovering parts of our life lost in the cacophony of things around the fast paced life and only when we break and take a rest we realize what all we have missed on the way and how we should be re-looking at life ahead, discovery is a wonderful aspect of life, and the quest should be there within and the world outside will always look so beautiful.

Thanks Sue for sharing such a deeply profound poem.
    Have a great weekend.
    😀

Always I am grateful for your visits and your kind words, which are gems in themselves, dear Nihar.. Your eloquent words bring even deeper wisdom, to all who would read them

Life is not just merely moving on a vehicle and completing the life’s journey, it is about pausing, observing, questioning, reflecting, learning, unlearning and taking time for others to spending time with self.

So true my friend.. Learning that in all things there has to be balance.. And yes, I think there should come a point in everyone’s life if they could pause, stand back and take stock. To look deeper within at that which holds meaning. And to learn to let go of the past, for it serves us nothing to hang onto it. and to stop projecting ahead of ourselves, worrying of what is to come..

While we do these two, we fail to live in the only moment given.. The gift we have all been given, yet so many do not live in the Present, the Now of our moments.. So we are in constant ebb and flow. It is not until we still ourselves, and go within to our Centre, do we steady ourselves, Like we are standing on the middle of seesaw, as we regain balance.

When we open our hearts, take that step inside, and discover that which has always been waiting for us to discover has always resided within.. We begin to wake up to our magnificence as we understand our Divine Blueprint..

Many thanks Nihar, I am most certainly a few posts now behind you my friend.. I hope to be catching up with you very soon my friend. Enjoy your weekend, Love and and Peace in all you do. 🙂 Sue 🙂

Indeed dear Sue, the pace of life and the fight for survival to the fight for our right, the race is on and we are all running, Many times helter-skelter, it is all happening in the world outside of us and we are badly caught in that mad race. As rightly pointed out instead of being on either side of seesaw with imbalance we need to come to the center, the middle ground in life and take rightful control of things and that is possible when are in control of the world within us, wherein lies the true essence of life.

The moment is where everything actually happens in our life and past is something we can see but can do nothing about it, perhaps only can learn the lessons of life and whatever we can do improve our living, we can do that change in that very moment for a better future of ours. There is this vicious cycle of life that plays its trick on us and we need to be careful and not get inadvertently trapped in that designed web.

The power of self-discovery is simply magical and we adopt path like meditation to spiritualism to yoga to get there, if we do we can simplify the complexity of our life, life is beautiful when it is simple but we have mastered the art of complicating things by being possessive and being obsessive and not letting go of things so deeply embedded into our life…indeed we get to see the Divine Blueprint.

Thanks as always dear Sue for your profound thoughts that keeps me thinking…you too have a lovely weekend.
        😀

Many thanks again Nihar.. Yes we complicate life far too much.. And sometimes its jut good to withdraw for a while, and BE.. with no expectation other than to embrace the peace within.
Many thanks for always adding your perspective, which so coincides with my own.. Have a Blessed day with your family Nihar.. Love and Peace.. Sue 🙂

Bless you David.. Sometimes David, I do not feel I should take the credit.. This poem like many others was gifted me in the middle of the night.. So while my pen flowed easily across my journal, I feel that Spirit held my hand to take dictation. lol 🙂 And I was taught yet another lesson within the words of it. So thank you dear friend 🙂 ❤

Lovely poem before your trip to Scotland, Sue. There will certainly be highs and lows in life, but each point in our lives leads us to places we’ve never been, and feelings beyond what we’ve ever felt. The past and pieces are something we can look back on, and learn, remember and cherish. Welcomg back and it does sound like you are very warm. Finaly it’s summer here in Australia. Sending some warmth your way ❤

Softly spoken words full of meaning for our ever growing and changing world.
Your kind heart reacts only so well to these times of seeming uncertainty.
Pieces to the grand puzzle begin to fill in as we discover the all and everything.

Thank you dear Eddie, your comments mean a lot to me my friend. And yes, we spend a life time gathering the pieces, slotting them together as we try to make sense of the ‘Bigger Picture’ and the meaning of Life.
Coming to understand that which we are, is not always easy to convey.. But I think I may well have had help from my spirit friends who I am sure placed the words here to be written 🙂
Sending LOVE and Peace my friend.. And Blessings to you and yours ❤ Hugs Sue

Stay warm and enjoy that snow. I’d love even a light dusting, but not a chance here. It’s sunny and in the mid 60’s. 🙂 Hugs and love, my friend…💗💗💗

Your poems never cease to amaze me with all their imagery! How incredible they are! Those photos are gorgeous, too. Beautiful photos of Scotland, as well. I have not one, but TWO friends who are headed there this year. I admit I have not prioritized international travel in the last few years – mostly because I travel back across the country to see my parents – a good reason, hehe.
Your poem though…it makes me think of a story I’m working on. One that has many facets. I don’t know where I will go with it. But I am trying to incorporate elements of That Which We Cannot See and add some mysticism, as well as some “universal things.” I hope it turns out to be something publishable, but if not, well…it was more writing practice. Hehe.
Thank you for all your beautiful comments and encouragement over at my blog. I value them more than you can know. I was reading something last night, about a group called, “Emissaries of Light” and well, you were the first person that came to mind. They are a secret group (apparently and according to this book I’m reading) of peacemakers in a world filled with conflict, but the more conflict we have, the more there is a call for peace and the more likely we are going to transcend into a peaceful state because it comes from within…
Ah well…see what your poem did? Just look at all these thoughts swirling in my head! ☺Sending you (healthy!) hugs and wishes for a wonderful week, sweet friend.

Wonderful that you are writing such a wonderful story. I am sure it will be weaved with magic and all things spiritual at the same time Cynthia. And I am flattered that you should think of me in such a light. 🙂 Many now are opening themselves up to helping others as the darker the boundaries become.. More Light will shine forth from those whose hearts are open with compassion and Kindness. They say it is always darkest before the dawn light, and I do believe we are travelling that corridor in time right now.
Where by, the Old has to crumble apart before we can build again in love and harmony, to get to the point of having Peace..
We still have a long road to travel and the journey is not going to be easy for many. But if we all start from our own hearts.. We help the process.
Much love and I have not forgotten that email. I have just not been on the internet over the last few days.. But expect one soon..
      Love and Hugs dear Cynthia.
      Sue ❤ 🙂

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love...
