It has been a while since I felt like writing a deep post. There are so many people in the world we are becoming aware of, who are in need of our thoughts, as they are going through their own dark tunnels right now..
I was looking back through my archives for inspiration and came across one of my past posts.. It says all I need to bring my thoughts to the fore. It was written in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.. And now another Major Storm has affected thousands of lives with Irma..
I know many of my Blogging friends have felt her wrath, and my thoughts and prayers have been with you..

Compassion seems to be ‘to the fore’ at the moment Sue, touching us all in so many ways, in small things around us to all around the world. Much is asking us to ‘look within’ and see that our love for ourselves is alive and well, so that we can then give from that place ❤

You know Mark, when I read this, I thought about you and your post.. And yes, Compassion is indeed coming to the Fore.. It is making us look within, as well as outwardly seeing how it is bringing communities together..
It is sad to think though that it often takes such disasters and chaotic situations to bring our human spirit to the fore to reach out and help one another..
But such is life, living, and learning..
May we all dig that bit deeper within and find our ‘giving well’

I think those disasters and events in our lives actually make us step beyond our fears and then give from a more ‘natural and clear’ place, dropping all those fears that normally hold us back Sue. Maybe they are events to ‘shock’ us out of our normal closed in reverie’s to ‘see’ that there is more to our journey, and that we can give from a more beautiful place with ourselves. They tend to show us that we are actually ‘holding’ onto many things that really don’t have a lot of meaning, and that the ‘love and life’ in our lives is much more important. It gives us a wake up call and hope for the future so to speak 😀 ❤

That is very true Mark and a perspective I hold also.. Nature is showing us a lot about Letting go of the Material, and helping us to open up to the things that matter in our lives.. I so agree..
And One I hope mankind wakes up to, and those in higher places to set in motion more permanent solutions to the pollution of the world..
But we as consumers can also do a great deal, by altering our own habits ..

Yes, I agree – the only way beyond is through. Compassion is not a given, it is developed through suffering – through feeling all that can be felt – and then we truly do understand the nature of the suffering – our own and that of others. There is nothing we are afraid of, because we have experienced the dark side. I often wonder why we came to this place of polarization to learn these things, but I can only have faith that our awarnesses will serve the greater evolution of the One. Eons of existing in the light, only to be ‘cast into darkness’ – yet every single day I find and create beauty in it, which surely must mean something.
On another note, I suspect our very patient Mother Earth has only begun. There are those of us who are hyper-aware, but I think the bulk of humanity remains in the thrall of disregard – lost in the illusion that wherever they are, physically and mentally, is It. So why not do whatever they please and damn the consequences. And perhaps there are other places, planes or systems where beings can carry on that way. But this earth will not be one of them – she must survive, must do what she must do. Choking on garbage and having her delicate mantle and ozone destroyed, not to mention the extinction of creatures meant to hold the balance here is Not going to be tolerated. And so we wait. For the next event and the next.

Yes Bela, I have faith, that all is well in the scheme of things to come and BE. or else they would not be, Simple as that..
And I sadly have to agree with you in regard to our Earth Mother, She will do what it takes.. And unless we Feel her own consciousness, and alter our ways, which I doubt very much.. More such experiences will be coming.
There have been some huge Solar Flares recently so more shifting of her crusts no doubt to come..
We have so much more to learn, and we could all do well to look at those species which we have caused to go extinct and those that are verging upon it.. And to each we are the cause..
Balance is the Key in most things.. Sadly we humans have not yet found how to balance the Greed that consumes and drives us to constantly want More.. While caring less about the Earth we destroy to get more..
But it can not go on indefinitely. And Nature will show us just who is mightier…

There seems to be great suffering of one sort or another these days. It is hard to witness so much pain. I just keep holding on to my belief that everything is happening for a reason and for our growth, which will make itself clear to us one day soon.We humans have found powerful ways to guard our hearts and breaking them back open seems to be taking quite a bit of effort. I hope so VK.. its a hard world to witness the many upheavals and suffering right now.. I am sometimes at a loss. Yet I have to trust that their is a Universal plan and all is in perfect order.. Thank you for that huge compliment Randall, I appreciate your kind comment.. And yes,We are also witnessing more empathy I feel, And the majority of people have a wealth of it,..
We are indeed seeing a shift, as the world herself spins us to look more deeply at ourselves and what we are doing to the planet.. These reminders are coming to help show us we are not as ALL Powerful as we may think, as we humans think we are at the top of our tree as a species..
We will never top Mother Nature, or will ever be as strong as her might.. So I think we should start listening to her, and find solutions to live more harmoniously within Nature, and with ourselves.. As we stop our polluting ways that are killing our planet and ultimately ourselves..
Natures Wrath when unleashed will show us all who is boss, Unfortunately so many innocent lives are lost as a consequence. And it is often those who have so little, who lose the most..

It seems every now and then Mother Nature needs to remind us of the dangers of arrogance, but it seems we keep ignoring her. Life isn’t meant to be perfect or fair; it never will be, but along with gaining access to the heart of humanity, as you said, compassion then follows. We surely need more love in our world. Living on the west coast, the current storms are unimaginable. Of course, anywhere we live, there is some form of natural disaster we may endure. So, I hold all those affected by any of the current hurricanes in prayer. And we have donated to several organizations in hope of doing our part that will make a difference. Thanks for sharing this beautiful post again, my friend, and I send you lots of love and hugs…
