Let the Pen flow across the page
Allow it to release all that pent-up rage
Form the words as they are born in your mind
Feel the Lightness as you let go and unwind
~~
See the Messages we give to ourselves
Pouring out emotions so long-held
Poetry in Motion, Healing at a stroke
As we let go of Anger that we never have spoke
~~
See the patterns that form into words
Voice them on paper, so they can be heard
They say the Pen is Mightier than the Sword
Know their Power, as we cut the cords
~~
Words and Letters may jumble and mix
Once Written out loud they can heal and fix
The long-held wounds we hold in our hearts
So take out your Pen- Let the Healing Start!
I have been busy this week enjoying the garden and these last days of Summer Sun. I have been reading many posts as I try to catch up this week with many of you.. I am Still way behind.. But the theme I am reading this week as I try to catch up, as we all at times seem to link in via our subconscious thoughts is ‘Healing’ .. Be it from Conflict, Grief, Self Judgement or illness or misunderstandings..
Learning to share our concerns as we voice them with others being through family or friends or just writing them down helps release emotional hurts. As we learn to let them go we begin to heal from within.
One thing I would often do when I was hurting so bad, was to write an Angel Letter.. Pouring out the conflict, self judgement, grief and pain. Allowing the emotions to flow onto paper.. I would offer up my letter to the Angels and then burn the letter asking that all of that emotion be released as I would ask for forgiveness for all concerned..
Thank you all of you who are travelling along with me in my Dreamwalker Journey I so appreciate your company and friendships . The above poem was penned last year and I thought it apt to add again today..
I also noticed how many more have joined Dreamwalker’s Sanctuary and started to follow recently the numbers have jumped this last couple of weeks who have started to follow I welcome you and please make yourselves known..
Love and Blessings
And I know so many parts of the world need our healing Love right now.
But it all starts with bringing that Love within yourselves
It all Begins with You
and Healing Your Heart and Loving yourself
Be the Pebble and create Ripples as you Send out your Love
♥

Dearest Sue, the tears have begun again for this post is just so heart touching. I too have many times written down on paper my pain and then burned the paper. Now that I have my blog much of what I experience and feel I write just in a way that I am not blasting all over the place. I’ve leaned moderation in my writing and even so with this, healing comes in. My Life is being validated, something that was sorely missing, for family mostly would not even recognize the person I have become. Yes writing and showing my photographs have accomplished so much healing within me and I in turn by showing my work have radiated healing and Love out to the world. As have you …. Much Love, ❤

Sue, there is love and connection in your words, which is most natural. Your words get up to embrace and heal. There is no doubt that when we share our emotions with ourselves and let them flow onto our journal, they find a channel of therapy!
Thank you for the inspiration and that picture of your handwritten poem is looking awesome. 🙂
Love and hugs. Have a wonderful week while you make the most of sunshine in your garden.

Often while writing my posts or poems I realise that the words echo my feelings as I try to help others … Mr V will also point this out to me. So, not deliberate but by just writing I am also cleansed of pent up negativity. It’s good to talk and just as good to write! Writing for oneself and just as healing, the simple art of listening becomes our most gentle and understanding healing tool and I also find that the reflection of the sounding board for others to hear their own words from other lips brings new awareness and understanding of their own needs. Any change, including healing must begin within. Love, David

An appropriate poem for this day and so many others, Sue. Well said. Yesterday, I started the healing by deleting 1500 e-mails that went back as far as Dec 2014. They hung over my head like an anvil. Last night after I turned out the lights at 10:30, the voice in my head was giving me a good talking to and wouldn’t be quiet. So the lights went on and the pen and paper came out. Once the page was full, I fell deeply asleep for a good 5 hours. This morning is a new day and my Qi Gong exercises have been done in order to get my first cup of coffee. No exercise, no coffee. Love what a pen can do. 🙂 There will come a time, maybe this winter when I have time to go back and read many blogs I missed, I just can’t handle the pressure of them hanging over me. Like an unfinished project. I’ve learned to pass them on if it looks like I can just never get them done. An now that my coffee is almost finished, it’s time to finish a project I’ve been working on this month and it will be finished today! Yes, the pen gets so many things accomplished. Have a wonderfilled day and week. Thank you for this.

Oh well done Marlene.. 🙂 I smile because like you I try my very best to keep up but the amount is huge and impossible.. So like you I had to delete hundreds after my absence.. We need to be true to ourselves.. and its not selfish to put ourselves first.. And Qi Gong is most important.. It changed my life.. 🙂 And I loved that you slept for 5 hours.. This I know is good for you with your sleep patterns..
And I so appreciate you telling me and finding time to visit .. I hope your shoulders feel lighter and your head clearer as the weight of those emails are no longer hanging over you..
The Power of the Pen .. And here’s to this NEW DAY.. And so pleased you enjoyed your Coffee.. Lots of LOVE to you Marlene.. Hugs Sue xxx

I remember someone once asking me about what means the most to me and I said “oh wow, I’d have to think about that” and they said “well, Just write down five things you couldn’t live without if you were stuck on an island with no way off, but exclude water and food which is obvious.” The first thing on my list was paper and pencil/pen. I write something every single day of my life, I can’t imagine not doing it. It is beyond healing. It allows you to go deep within for answers. Thanks for reminding me 🙂 Happy weekending DW and hugs your way….VK ❤

Hi Sue,
I really enjoyed your poem and your heartfelt sentiments about healing pain and anger, etc,,, Your energy is so strong and centered ( from my perspective). A thought just occurred to me as I type this. We can get eruptions on our skins as we shed toxins within. I think the planet is shedding great quantities of toxins and we are witnessing the seemingly unpredictable eruptions.
I have just resumed a bit of journaling recently and hope to continue for it is nourishment for my soul.
love and lots of hugs,
Linda

Yes we will find Linda that the world is a mirror of our emotional eruptions, and yes strange you should mention the skin erupting..I feel like I have a thousand little bugs walking over my skin this week as I have not stopped itching as if some invisable insect is crawling over my arms face and head.. Very weird.
I am pleased you are getting back into writing in your journal again.. It is tremendously healing to write down our thoughts..
Love and warm hugs for a peaceful weekend after what I am sure has been a busy week ❤ xxx

I haven’t tried in your way with angel letter, but it sounds like a good way to get rid of emotions, as no longer serves us.
I use to release emotions, while I do my meditation at the beach in the morning or use my gemstones in the process.

Yes genstones are a good tool to use Irene, along with meditation too, I agree with you.. I found there was something personal in writing our thoughts along with emotions and hurts. This way I feel the emotions are less directed into the person we may have a problem with or situation but we are allowing our Guides and Angels to disperse the energy when we symbolically burn the letter we allow those thoughts which we know when directed can cause harm as well as healing into the right vibration best for all concerned..
You too Irene.. I popped on here after lunch .. On my old PC.. Hi Sue 💙 I love this poem and your gentle reminder to be kind with ourselves and to show love. I also agree with you about writing (as I would assume most writers would 😉 ) I truly began my healing journey when I started to write again. I wrote as a child and then abandoned writing, along with many other things. Now I KNOW that I MUST write…I simply have to! Much love wonderful lightwalker 💛💛
