Searching for that Perfect Moment.

Trees, the breath of our lungs

Trees, the breath of our lungs~ A walk in Nature’s Peace

Carry on searching and you will find

That perfect moment that peace of mind

You’ll find it among all the places you look

None are within the pages of a book

So many species rely upon our Trees

So many species rely upon our Trees ~Lichen on these small branches, and thousands of insects.

While a book can teach you knowledge unbound

The Peace of your heart there is not to be found

Page after page we turn and can read

But the Peace we all seek first comes as a seed

Life~ a continual cycle of death and rebirth

Life -Nature~ a continual cycle of death and rebirth

So long do we lie in the depths of the Dark

Forgetting the power from which we all start

A Spark to kindle from the love we all yearn

Ignited with passion as our hearts start to learn

Catkins

Catkins and Gorse.

An Island we languish alone and afraid

We cut down each other using words as our blades

Doing unto others, we do unto the whole

What we send out we reap back as souls

Gorse too has its thorns, but it still shines its beauty to us

Gorse~ Everyone of us can show our thorns.

So we search and we find what was there all along

We just forgot the Harmony of Singing our Song

In Unity we blend, our voices become One

No longer separate, a choir has begun.

~~

In tune with Nature you’ll flourish and grow

Reaching for Light you spread out and glow

And that ‘Perfect Moment’, that Peace of Mind

It was always inside you, Seek and Find.

Keep Following the Path

Keep Following the Path to your Heart!

I shared this poem four years ago..

So I thought to share it again.

Our Trees, like our hearts have taken a battering over time,

especially in recent months as we have witnessed the horrors of flames.

But its never too late to rekindle the flame of Love in our Hearts,

as we nurture  and respect each other and Mother Nature.

You have no idea the Power YOU each hold within your hearts as you send out love into the world.

Keep Sending LOVE!

Do not buy into the Fear being generated, Our thoughts are creating Our Future!

Have a wonderfully Peaceful Weekend All of you..

💛💚💛

    Hi Sue,
This one line absolutely shone for me, “But the Peace we all seek first comes as a seed.” I really agree. I think we always return to this seed moment as the opportunity within the transition of the in and out breath. A lovely post, and the wholeness of the moment is so very present in your words and images.

Such wise and endearing words you write DW…Love going on your nature walks with you.You are far ahead over there. Nothing flowering here, still just brown and gray and crispy. Soon I hope to see some green begin to emerge and bring about that lushness we all love. Hundreds of different shades of green all sharing space.I am so ready!!! Enjoy my friend. I long for the day when we can all appreciate every moment as perfect and we realize we no longer have to search for it…One day!!!! Hugs…VK ❤

Catkins and Gorse, that is so beautiful! Your poem made my day, Sue, as we are packing here among boxes and boxes of stuff, tripping over things, and I am ready just to go out into the woods, leave it all behind… Thank you much for this one.

I liked the poem and the photos and the ones showing the path fit in well.
The photos of Gorse made me think of New Zealand my land of memories.
My three sons grew up there, when they were gown up, I returned home to Aussie. About a year later they left there jobs and the land they love and followed me.
I felt honour they cared so much, it was a big step as I would not leave them till they were settled in good jobs with many good friends.
They have done well in Aussie but the four of us and Pauline all love NZ.
Gorse has nasty thorns but the flowers are beautiful.
It was introduced into New Zealand and has gone rampant.
NZ farmers dislike it but I still see it as beautiful.
It is all in the eye of the beholder, always inside you seek and you find.
The peace we all seek first comes from a seed. _/\_

Your Boys are as I said before a Credit to you Jack.. and reading the above how proud you must be of them all.. I can see why they didn’t want such a distance to separate you all.. And so wonderful to know they all made the move to join you..
Yes I can see why you and Pauline love NZ.. The Gorse is flowering earlier than normal here as its been extra mild over winter here.. Its usually one of the first to bloom.. Yes its looks are deceptive and it has left its mark on me many a time as I skipped through a hedge lol when younger 🙂
Keep planting your own seeds Jack. They too are precious Gems.. _/\_ Love and Blessings

I particularly loved these lines – ‘We cut down each other using words as our blades,

Today’s impatient world has no time for basic niceties. So often we say unkind words unthinkingly and then repent in leisure.

    Hey Sue,

There’s an all pervading sense of deep contentment shining out from within your sagely words…shining out just as brightly, and just as warmly, as the shimmer from those delightful golden flowers. Somehow Sue, you always end up ‘discovering’ fresh seams of gold everywhere you ‘look’ and go 😉 Wonderful.

I very much enjoyed the photographs of course, or of gorse (lol), and stepping with you down the lane to take-in a little air. It looks a good place to ramble. Thank you for sharing 🙂

I hope all is well in the far-flung north, and your week enjoyable thus far. I have to ask how the guitar playing is going, and how the fingertips are holding up? Are you now playing like a pro and strumming like a virtuoso? Any tunes as yet? 🙂

Look after yourself, and take care of one and all.

Big smiles of ‘Gorse’ to your comment dear Dewin.. thank you for taking time to stroll along with me..
As for the strumming.. Yes still practising every day. and learning loads.. The fingers are now numb.. would be a good description of the finger ends of my fret hand.. I am finding some chords hard to ‘streeeeetch’ too.. As these hands of mine have stiffened up a little over the years since my factory sewing days 🙂 and piecework nimbleness.. But daily exercises are being followed as per-instructions 🙂 and while all is not yet perfected.. Practice makes perfect as they say 🙂

At Song I sung too the other day with short pauses while I streeeeetched to a particular chord 🙂 the Song was called ‘ Killing me Softly” At least I hope no one was injured in the process of listening haha 🙂 😀 . At least I do not drive hubby into the garden when I pick up the guitar to practice… He may be a little deaf though hehe.. Kidding.. The answer is slow and steady progress is being made.. The main thing is I am still enjoying despite the strange numbness and no finger prints 🙂 visible 🙂
I will call by later to see if a sequel is pending reading 🙂
Many thanks Dewin… your visits are always a pleasure 🙂

        Hey Sue,

It’s always a pleasure to be here Sue, thank you. The wander with you was wonderful 😀

Really delighted to read of persistence and practice, progress and pleasure, in your pastime revival! I admire your determination and enthusiasm Sue, you sound totally captivated by the experience of learning and playing again, and despite the numbness (which I’m told is a good sign!) and the ‘streeeetching’ (lol), seem to be making excellent headway! As you continue to follow exercises and ‘instructions’, I’m sure suppleness will return to those nimble fingers quite quickly and you’ll be fretting with the best of them 🙂 A quick search online suggests ‘F barre chord’, and B chord, are the hardest to play? And looking at the images online, I’m certain everyone struggles with finger placement and keeping the notes clean…are hands even designed to twist like that? 😀

The irony, and humour, in ‘Killing Me Softly’ had me merrily chuckling away…you really couldn’t have picked a better song to slay as your opening number lol 🙂 And may I ask…was hubby a little deaf before you started playing? Lol 🙂 Only teasing you. You know I can’t wait until we hear you play, so good luck and best wishes!

Many thanks for your humorous reply and all the smiles contained there in…it brightened up my evening.

Have a great week. Take care always in all ways 🙂 Until next time…

Hi Sue! I wish you sunshine and love! 🙂 I was actually reading through another post of yours (from April 15 of last year). I read it, because I also had found that Einstein letter – I think it was on facebook – and it resonated with me PRIMARILY because of the message. I read through all the comments under your post, making notes for things I wanted to say when it came to my turn; however, at the bottom you had closed off any further commentary. I understand the reason for it. It’s all good. I share the same thoughts and feelings on the subject as you do….and as several people who had commented, and positively (like Melanie and HER auction letter; Tracey’s beautiful poem; all the quotes you added referring to Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr.) Like you, over the past couple of years, I have awakened more completely and am learning to “empty my pockets” as well. I have always admired and respected Einstein for his brilliant mind and his compassionate soul. I COULD see him writing such a letter….and either way, the message is something that resonated with him as well. The message is the important part. The force of the universe IS love, and it fills all the spaces everywhere; it’s in everything. As you also said. Hugs, love and light to you, Sue. 🙂

Bless you Michaela.. and thank you for taking the time to let me know your thoughts upon that particular post.. yes so many people who are so not awake who were too abusive to allow their comments to mar the message of the post which was Love.. Sad when you think about it, that people were more concerned about it being a post to grab statistics.. How sad are these beings.. They obviously need a great deal of love sending their way 😉 ..
And yes the force of the Universe IS love.. though there are those still fighting to keep the darkness.. Love I know will eventually out way the hatred Many thanks for your lovely comment my friend.. ❤

Yes….there are still so many sad people….and those living in their darknesses. Love WILL win, but I can see why it takes so much hope and effort and belief on the part of those who live their lives with love as their centre.

A book is my escape and I would be lost in a world without books but a book is not my perfect moment by any means as a book is a movie drawn out for me by another person’s imagination.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
