My Earth Day Painting, in tribute to our Earth Mother and Nature
You can find out more about Singing for our Trees Here and why its important to honour our sacred trees which are fast disappearing from our Earth.
In celebration of connecting with Gaia our Earth Mother I spent the weekend Painting. I wanted something Light, bright and showing the love.. Hence all the hearts and flowers.
But can you spot a Fairy two little elves and a new born, mouse and pot of gold in there?
Below are some photo’s taken from my garden and while out walking.
What ever you are doing this week, I hope you will spare a few thoughts for our trees, and especially think of the rain forests.. Every year the size of England is cut down and destroyed, not to mention the indigenous people who are displaced and even killed through the big corporate powers overtaking their lands.. And Lastly I have enclosed video, Not even two minutes which I have on my about me page.. here is a Song I love to Sing along and drum to. I hope as you go about your day you too will Sing and bring your love and vibration into the heart of Mother Earth and Sing to her ‘Old One’s’ the Trees who give us our very breath.

If you click on the picture to enlarge it Maryrose, you will see the mouse central .. Yes and once you find him.. also the little things will no longer block your way 🙂 for the little people will once asked be at your side whispering in your ear which direction you must go.. Yes my hubby is well used to be breaking hands to go and hug a tree when we go for a walk LOL.. And who can beat Natures song.. I confess we have not heard a cuckoo here for a couple of years now.. sad they are not as abundant as they once were here.. Sending Hugs over to Spain.. 🙂

I sing most days, on the 22nd (tomorrow) I will make sure it is specifically for the trees. Steve and I love trees. When we first started studying horticulture it became almost immediately apparent that they were going to be where our efforts lay. We think humanity is complex until you head into a forest and start studying the networks going on. Once you go underground it is even more incredible. Here’s to the trees! 🙂

narff I am certain that each waking moment in your household is full of Song.. 🙂 Yes the labyrinth of networking beneath our trees by the fungi whose telephone system links each tree to the other.. We see there are the Mother Trees, the Old Ones who are at the core of their chain system.. Yes its activating, and when you are tuned into energy, you can feel the pulse of a tree… 🙂 I know you are both well tuned into this system.. And are Natures advocates.. Thanks, Sue. Very colourful and happy painting, Sue… I found all, but the little mouse was a tad tricky – still, I persevered! At 12 noon I shall have to sing internally as I’m at work, but I’ll still sing and say thank you to this wonderful world of ours!

I have been signing and promoting petitions on this subject as these huge areas of forest are being cleared for palm oil plantations, the terrible treatment of workers and indigenous tribes who are being deliberately wiped out! 😦
We must be the voice for those who have none! 😦

You didn’t allow replies for today Sue, so I’m going to post one here. I LOVE your song, and I’ll sing it all day, and beyond this day. And on Earth Day I’ll be out and celebrating every live tree we have, while protesting the concrete trees our city leaders think are “nice” replacements for the real ones. When they come up for re-election I’ll be in line to vote them OUT of office and look for someone who believes as I do, that real trees are good for us, and help keep the environment clean. Our Mother Earth is being strangled by what they think of as progress. Each step they take “forward” is actually a mile taken back, and our Mother is being slain. She has tried for so long to provide for us, but how much longer can she struggle? What has this “progress” done to the world and the very life that is necessary to keep us all breathing? Why can’t they open their eyes and see the damage they are doing? Ears that do not hear and eyes that do not see, and Hearts that no longer beat with Love, but allow greed to rule the day.
