Warning: What I’m about to say.

Warning, what I’m about to say

Could seriously upset your day

So listen please well to my words

For this is my perception of what occurs

~~

Sunday is our day of rest

Some go to church and dress in their best

Others go down on bended knees

Reciting their mantra’s wherever they may be

~~

Within ALL Religion of which men speak

Is the LOVE of God of which we all seek

Yet while we sit within  our snug homes

War rages on with Bombs and Drones

~~

Children die hourly, being Killed and maimed

In the name of religion, beliefs are blamed

It’s time we stopped walking on the other side

It’s time to act, it’s time to decide.

~~

Ancient monuments being put before Humanity,

Seem more important than Lives, its insanity

Wake up People, to the Horrors WE Create

Yes WE with our denial, and Hate.

~~

What drives men and women to pick up guns?

What Kind of Human kills babies for fun?

Can you explain how hate got so ingrained?

Why LOVE got so lost, and Genocide inflamed

~~

Those who look the other way,

Maybe need to Wake up and Pray

That this hate doesn’t spill, to their front doors

Hate is the lack of Love—That’s the Core!

~~

Each bad apple starts with a bruise

Spreading like a cancer, touching others to abuse

‘Fractions’ and ‘Extremes’ spread out with Fear

Closing our eyes won’t stop all the tears

~~

Throughout History, in many many lands

Man has much blood to wash from his hands

Hitler, Amin, Pol Pot, to name but a few past

Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Ukraine, We still blast

~~

Many tell me to live with Joy in my heart

But how Can I Ignore this Suffering ‘I AM’ Part

‘WE ARE ONE’ within this experience of Life

We need to stop being ‘Indifferent’, Inject Love not strife.

~~

I can’t stop the wars that others may fight

My only weapon is LOVE, to beat the Darkness with Light

We have to look within at our own prejudices and Hate

Clear out our own darkness, Let Love be our Fate.

~~

The Hopi foretold this long jagged path

We are now at the Cusp, we have to choose and fast

Dictator’s control, using fear to cause harm

My only weapon is LOVE –  But it’s more powerful by far

~~

Our minds are our greatest tools we possess

Use them to send love, to heal and caress

Compassion verses Anger, Light against Dark

Use thoughts and create Love—Generate Sparks

~~

Our Children need lessons in Love not Fear

We the Elders need to teach love, not hand out tears

I know Love outweighs and will overcome

Stop turning the other way and playing dumb

~~

Stand up for Freedoms, Live a life in Harmony

Unity Consciousness starts with You and Me

We Came to Earth to find the LOVE we separated from

Don’t waste this life, Find LOVE, Before its Gone!.

To see what generated this poem I wrote last evening, you can go to Learning From Dogs post Written with a heavy heart. But Please be Warned the Images there are Very disturbing about the ISIS movement and massacres of young children. And as Paul says should not be viewed by children under the age of 16.. But what incensed me about our Media news is that this week airtime is given to Ancient Monuments being destroyed which was described on TV as ‘a crime against Humanity’!!…. And yet Thousands of innocent lives are being tortured and killed every day, …World Wide….

We not long ago held the Anniversary about WWII… as we remembered those Millions who died.. “Never Again” said our leaders should this happen again?

‘WAR’ is a Crime Against Humanity be it in which ever country, and by who ever the perpetrator is.

And while some countries withdraw their armies.. They supply  More Weapons to fuel More Wars!..

*Sigh*

Paul ends his post by saying

“Makes our dogs look like profoundly straightforward, loving animals! Why, oh why, can’t the human race essentially be as straightforward and loving!”

Why indeed !

Well done dear Sue, for shining your light so eloquently and with such lucency in our darkened world. One sees what humankind does in the name of its own mere ideas, and one wonders if evolution ended in the middle ages, or perhaps well before. H ❤

I wonder too at times Hariod about evolution ending in the middle ages.. We may have progressed far technologically but have a long LONG way to go before we mature Spiritually.. Everybody seems to be on a different page at the moment, Sue. Priorities seem to be being given to the wrong thing and we seem to be no further along than we were years ago. We can only keep on sending out our good vibes and wishes and hope with all hope that things settle, and become better… although, sadly, it may take some time.
A thought provoking poem, Sue… but sadly I couldn’t follow your link. I can imagine the atrocities.

Sue, I have only now come to this post and read your incredible poem! Wow! What a special, most caring person you are.

All I can hang on to is the power of words being broadcast in this, relatively, new world of blogging. You and I have never met yet I sense we know each other. Same for Hariod and Val (Boyco) and many others, including the persons who wrote the replies that preceded this one.

I’m not a religious person but pray in my own special way that the power of truth, honesty and integrity will overcome the madness that seems all around us just now. I can do no more than hang on to that old saying from the days of ocean sailing: The night is always darkest just before the dawn.

For we so badly need a new dawn!

So thought provoking Sue, and oh, how true. I have believed for most of my life that if the leaders of nations want war, those leaders should meet each other on a battle field and fight each other. All these horrible things they do in the name of god. when the God I follow taught Peace and LOVE. Maybe some day……Peace and Love to you my Angel Sue.

Will we ever stop? Will we ever really just love and accept one another? Yet how can we expect others to change while we harbour impatience for the cashier, disdain for the tattooed boy, dislike for that snide woman and disgust for that fat guy. We are all part of this problem, being hateful to one another in so many ways.

Nice poem Sue but I did not go to the link.
Because there is enough negative poison on TV.
We need to fill our mind with love to promote love.
    Our thinking governs our actions.
There is too muck violence, fear and advertising of unnecessary luxuries in the media creating greed, hate and envy.
People are not bad it is the poisons, fools that think impermanent things will make them happy, feed them.
Those that want more than they need you will never be satisfied.
Do not let them get to you Sue,_/\_

I am glad you didn’t go to the link.. And yes we do need to fill our minds with love.. The world is upside down at the moment in appearances, but I do know there is more good than bad, we are shown just so much of the badness… And we are here within the Material World of Duality, Good and Evil.. Light and Darkness, we can not experience this reality without one or the other… But we are loosing our way in worshipping ‘THINGS’ be it land, oil, people… possessions.. And I have got it out of my system now thank you my dear friend Jack.. I needed to write to offload and sometimes we both do that my dear friend LOL… You do it perhaps so much better than I 🙂 😉 _/\_

The media I know would have us believe its rife with evil…We sometimes need reminding that LOVE, Caring and Kindness, need to be practised within our homes, and with each other.. If not what hope is there for those whose differences in cultural beliefs have ingrained within them with their upbringing.. We have to teach our children Love and nurture them to care and be tolerant and treat others as we would wish to be treated .. Many thanks again for sharing.. Blessings Sue 🙂

Sue, I looked at Paul’s post and came away with tears rolling down my face. Why isn’t this shown on our news, why aren’t we doing more to save these people? We start wars for oil and political ideology but not to save children. Today i just heard that the last group of the Peace Corp just pulled out of Israel because it was no longer safe enough to be there. We can’t keep ignoring what is going on in other parts of the world yet what can we as individuals do? Your poem was perfect for the subject and brings out much of the same questions I have swirling in my head now.

I think the point about the destruction of the ancient monuments was that they are a part of these people’s culture and symbolise who they are, carried down through history, rather than just dead artefacts. By destroying them – and there is some doubt as to whether everything they destroyed was the real thing, IS were effectively aiming to erase all memory and trace of existence of the people concerned. As in ethnic cleansing. And that in itself I believe would constitute a crime against humanity. It was a lot more than just wrecking old pieces of stone or whatever. It was another way of expressing their intention to wipe innocent people from the face of the Earth and from the face of history.

That said, I do appreciate the point you were making here and if it were just about old statues etc against human lives then I would wholly agree with you but it was so much more than that and deeply disturbing in its implications and the evil, murderous intentions of IS. (I intentionally use the term “IS” because there are many women named Isis and it has beautiful meaning, and they have been deeply upset by the media’s use of it to refer to this barbaric, murdering organisation. I recently signed a petition to have its use by the media banned.)

Your passion and compassion regarding love and War is refreshing and clearly heartfelt, and a sentiment shared by many of us the world over. It is a dark and frightening world we live in and love and respect is becoming harder and harder to find. And without diverting into my latest rant of the moment, lol, respect and equality for us women is becoming increasingly hard to find too!! I will stop there as I am in serious danger of launching into a wholly inappropriate rant on a subject not applicable to this fine post!

Yes the name of ‘IS’ as you rightly say takes away a beautiful meaning of a perfectly lovely name.. And I take on board what you have said about the monuments.. I wrote my poem in the middle of the night, still enraged, but at times suffering is glossed over, in favour of the Material loss. which upsets me..
And you are welcome to rant at any time dear Wolfie, So many issues relating to disrespect and mistreatment of women which also need highlighting….

I hope this comment doesn’t offend anyone, but Israel needs to be mentioned here also; because it’s the ‘superpower’ of the Middle East and has been antagonizing Palestinians for almost a century now. These actions from ISIS are deplorable and simply unacceptable; but, they are making statements with women and children, to deplore, and ultimately yes, be at war with both the U.S. and Israel. The ‘extremists’ are the ‘result’ of the ongoing antagonism between these two countries. The war is not only based on religion, but on U.S. interests in those regions. May God (Nature) be our only superpower, and I really mean Nature, as the one controlling events.

What we teach in school is also very influential. No matter how much love we can teach children at home, if they go to school with bullying and racism, what are they going to learn? On top of that, what are history teachers teaching our children? Are we sure they are getting accurate, objective information, or are they being taught since early in their years who are the ‘good’ and who are the ‘bad’ guys? Looking at what children are learning in school may sabotage all the love and values we try to teach them.

Hi Maria, no your comment has not offended me… And you touched upon a good point. The present circumstances of why people hate each other is deeply ingrained into the past… The differences have long been taught, passed down and indoctrinated into various cultures.. Children are brought up segregated learning to judge, and discriminate, Be it another culture or another sex.. It happens not only in these nations but in class rooms all over the world..
History books themselves discriminate, and distort the truth and facts… Have not the Native American Indians also been judged and condemned.. Many forget the massive Genocide against the indigenous people of America.. How racism is still rife, and yes I too agree with you Maria, when you said

” May God (Nature) be our only superpower, and I really mean Nature, as the one controlling events”.

I could not agree more.. For while Man may worship their own individual written Laws, there is NO escaping the Universal Laws of Cause and Effect..Karma is being worked out..

I feel a true God has always been there; but according to Buddhist philosophers and other religions, a bad ‘karma’ or bad ‘seed’ is already involved in a vicious cycle between these people. I have faith that good leaders can halt a bad ‘karma’ or bad ‘seed’ to continue flourishing. Baruch Spinoza was a Jew and said that God was analogous to Nature, but still was God and divine, and had to be worshipped as such. The only thing Spinoza did differently was to assign God a free will. God will act when He feels it’s the right moment, and not because people have assigned him special powers and human attributes. This was a very hard pill to swallow in those times, so he was thrown out of the Jewish synagogue (I think they accepted him back later on), and lived in exile for the rest of his years. But he was the first man to admit that God could not have human attributes or be idealized because he acted out of His own will, and worked along with human’s reasoning and capabilities to solve conflicts.

Rereading about Spinoza, it was not really that God had ‘free will’. “Spinoza expressly denies personality and consciousness to God; he has neither intelligence, feeling, nor will; he does not act according to purpose, but everything follows necessarily from his nature, according to law….” Thus, Spinoza’s God is the antithesis to the concept of an anthropomorphic, fatherly God who cares about humanity. “Spinoza was a Dutch philosopher. The breadth and importance of Spinoza’s work was not fully realized until many years after his death. By laying the groundwork for the 18th-century Enlightenment and modern biblical criticism, including modern conceptions of the self and, arguably, the universe, he came to be considered one of the great rationalists of 17th-century philosophy.”-Wiki

I had not heard of Baruch Spinoza before Maria, and I thank you for adding your thoughts here…. Man was given Free Will… and he has a Choice.. Its all about our choices… And some choose Love while others choose Hate.. We live in a world of duality… so without the BAD we would not know what GOOD is… What is happening as it appears to me, is we have always needed these two extremes of Light and Dark.. the thing is it needs to be kept in Balance… I just pray that we keep that balance and do not fall foul by using Hate against Hatred…

Darkness cannot drive out Darkness, Only Light can do that,Hate cannot drive out Hate, Only Love can do that..

I cannot remember who said that Maria, but its so so true.. xxx

When I arrived and saw the Warning and the photo with the burning flames against the black,I was predisposed of what was going to follow.Yes,the photo was depicting Hell.I started reading your poignant poem and I was struck with consternation because I have not yet acquired immunity from what I recently view and read.I continued reading your verses and then, there was a brainstorm of words swirling in my poor mind … …Violence, crime, war, atrocity, injustice, cruelty, blood, merciless, inhumane, barbarity,
    hostility,murderers,assassins,weapons,hostility,holocaust,devastation,destruction, … havoc,upheaval,chaos,clash of cultures and religions,civil wars,brothers agaist brothers,fanaticism,Intolerance,violation of law,indoctrination,dirty propaganda,and then,hatred that begets hatred,and we are all caught in a vicious circle.And I continue reading your thoughtful verses and I see Hell …
And,I asked.Where is God ? Where are the Mighty that govern the world ? Who is going to stop the theatre of the absurd ? Pain,a lot of pain and suffering Sue Dear, and all beyond reason, all sacrificed in the altar of money and the interests of the Super Powers.
Where is the Harmony of our Universe, the Beauty of nature that should be one with ourselves ? They dared destroy and smash temples, and monuments and sacred symbols and artefacts in museums, because to them they were just false idols … Oh,God have pity on us! Sorry my dearest Sue for my burst, sorry …
I finish my delirium and I treasure your verses that say “our only weapon is Love and our minds the greatest tools… I wish I could save those innocent souls … Night, night! Love and a warm hug to you 🙂 ❤

Sometimes we all ask that same question Doda… God is within.. and LOVE is within, Hate is absence of it.. And the Darkness is only the absence of LIGHT.. We are a mixed bunch here upon Earth.. Not all are starting out from the same point in consciousness, And many have a long way to catch up with those who shine their light..
But I do believe dear Doda, That LOVE is our only weapon.. Sometimes we need to wake up to the simple truths that each of us have at some point felt some of the emotions you stated and yes we can all get caught up within the vicious circle ..
The Only Souls we can really save our ourselves
Love and Blessings Dear friend xxx Hugs ❤ Sue

Hi dear friend Sue !I pleasantly receive and treasure your loving thoughts, but here,we are talking about extreme situations beyond any common reason, and if,at least, for one minute,we come to their shoes,we will see that all these noble thoughts and theories don’t really help and console them. They neeed direct measures and help. However, reading your alerting work we can test our own sensitivies … and simply sympathise with them.
There is also one more point I would like to mention and hope you agree with me.Reading work and poems of that sort we understand how ungreatful we are..We have everything, but we grumble all the time,we never really see and appreciate the blessings we generously receive from Him …
God and Love are the only things in my soul, that’s why I am here with You discussing things and exchanging our deepest thoughts.Have a peaceful and enjoyable weekend my dearest friend Sue.Always thankful for the spiritual food you give us … Sending love & blessings your way , Doda 🙂 ❤

Yes I agree Doda, Its most often those who have the most who grumble the loudest.. Go into the remote forests of Brazil, or In the slums of India, you may see people and children with next to nothing of what we consider Blessings, and yet everyone is SMILING.. for they have all got something we have long since forgotten.. They are Happy within themselves.. And within each of them.. is that Divine God Force, we call LOVE.. x x x Many thanks Doda.. I have enjoyed our exchange of thoughts 🙂 ❤

I would love a world, where the word war was not invented
I would love a world, where guns were unknown.
I would love a world, where hate was not a word.
I would love a world, where man could only understand the words
    Love and Compassion..

It’s insane that the loss of lives has become something the media is numbed to. The loss of ancient civilizations relics and historical places is very sad and frightening but it is not on par with the loss of human life.

I love to embody joy in my life and I DO NOT do enough to change my world. I know I let busy-ness get in the way of the most important things sometimes. That said, I am always in angst over what’s happening in the world and wonder at our capacity to heal it.
Powerful words here, dear Sue. And a cry for action from everyone. Sending you hugs and keep being a beacon! xo

Sometimes dear Cyndi, I feel less of a beacon, than a helpless soul caught within a world at times I can see getting further away from the light.. The Hopi spoke of the Great Purification.. I often wonder are we within those times.. and what just Will it take to purify the evil from certain Human hearts? Yet I have to have hope, And my hope is more will see the Power of their own thinking and start to THINK for themselves rather than allowing themselves to be dumbed down with what this commercial world is teaching.. I also have Faith, that our Inner Hearts when truly tested will once again find love and dismiss the hatred being created.. ❤ Love Sue and thank you for your lovely comment xxx

Sue I love that your messages are reaching so many people of light, ‘We’ as a consciousness are bringing up everything that cannot stick around… into higher consciousness, Our OLD EARTH is shedding tears for itself and “OUR” NEW EARTH embodied in “US” is emerging at a very fast pace, causing many upheavals along the way. Love is prevailing and we are entering the unknown where this kind of heaviness no longer pulls us in, yet we shine our light and it literally transforms in this “NEW NOW”. “WE” are the wayseers and shine on anything that is in darkness into this divine LOVE that embodies us “ALL”. ALL perfect in its timing, as we are truly timeless in this new consciousness. I had been traveling spreading sparkles of light wherever I landed, seeing your sparkles of light as well! Much love Robyn

Many thanks Robyn.. Yes the Old earth is shedding, and breaking down in ways as yet many do not see.. All I can do is send love.. and all is well in our world, for all is as it should be as we shed yet another skin, and learn to join in harmony .. I very much appreciate your calling in Robyn.. Thank you and Blessings sent your way . Sue

we were born with a memory of war…
I believe it came in a time before the creation of this mankind in this moment
until we calm the rage inside of ourselves, till we understand that silence within
we will always be at war…starting with what is inside of our minds which seems to always silence the heart instead of listening to it
trusting the heart, will be the only way to a lasting Peace within man and the world
I wonder if we will see a glimmer of that Faith in our hearts in this lifetime….
    Wonderful, thought provoking poem Sue….
    Thank you for sharing….

      Dear Maryrose,
First I have to say I love your new Gavatar picture .. And yes, it seems deep in our Human core is the violent rage that in my mind is maybe inherent of our DNA coding! I feel we are again upon the cusp of seeing an escalation as we end yet another phase of Human evolution.. I often wonder Maryrose if the Human race in its Human form can ever find that Inner peace? For even when we try there seems at times a self sabotage mechanism which clicks in to bring doubt..
I hope as we awaken up more to the workings of our minds we see we need to Listen to our Hearts and learn to live our lives in love .. But it is also my own opinion that there are those on Earth that are not Humane or Human who are dealing out more darkness as they spread their evil across the earth…
My Faith still remains dear Maryrose, despite this darkness, for I know without our LIGHTS this world would be darker still..
Keep shining Maryrose… For your Faith and Light is much needed.. And I know will overcome all the shadows which have been cast your way..

Love and Blessings.. You too matter! Hugs dear friend Sue xxxxx ❤

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
