That is ALL we have ALL have to do you know Willow… Thought creates… We each of us Can change the World.. We after all created our present reality.
Just look around you, All you see was once someone’s thought …
But while ever the world promotes War, Fighting, Violence, on TV, Films, XBox, Games, Cartoons.. while ever families squabble, and fight, judge and feel anger.. We create the world we are NOW experiencing…
The simple fact is, We are the ones who have to alter our thinking and actions, We are the pebbles that cast the ripple effects.. 🙂

I can’t help wonder if John Lennon realized the significance of this rather simple song and the impact it would have on the world. How many people would cover it. How many causes it would be used for. How many millions (billions?) of people it would touch on a profound level by it. How many years it would continue to be important.
What an incredible message.

I clicked on the video Sue. From then on there was no more blogging.
I love that song ,Imagine’ and the Play for Peace do it so well.
Music breaks down barriers and if we could break down all those barriers mentioned it ‘Imagine’ I believe life would be like a song.
One Christmas Eve there was a lull in the war the soldiers were singing carols.
Both the English and the Germans and they started to come out of their trenches and mingle.
Till the career soldiers called them.
I had no problems with black Americans at music venues in New Orleans.
In my blog ‘Blues’ I put in the video ‘Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy Jam’ not only because of the music but because of the body language, the genuine closeness between them.
Yes music makes you colour blind and blind to all the stupid differences we ‘Imagine.’
I was ‘Sitting on the Dock of the Bay’ then clicked ‘Stand by Me’ I was off dancing with ‘Play for Peace.’ The Force was with me and I know it is with you too Sue. _/\_

Peace to you,peace to your family,to your life and to the whole world,dear Sue ! Peaceful was the way you presented your post, and peace-loving the music you adopted ! It all begins from within,from our personal philosophy of life,from our principles of love and happiness and then we have peace at home,in all societies, in all nations and peace on Earth … However,despite the acclaimed globalisation I can hardly see any peace … I can see only hostility,political conflicts,military conflicts,cruel wars … and I try hard to save my inner peace,my peace of mind … Believe me,I feel bitter inside and disappointed that the mighty of the world do nothing to stop it,do nothing to bring peace worldwide. Are we asking too much ? Is it an utopia dear Sue ? I loved reading your poem,your attitudes and I loved listening to the song while I was putting my humble thoughts on your ” Peace ” based post ! Great tribute to the virtue of virtues on that very special day my friend.Let me sign off with Aristotle’s quote on peace :

Aww thank you Doda.. that was a most beautiful comment.. Yes today is another Sad day in the History of decision making.. As Air strikes have been agreed by the UK Government in Syria.. Peace is what many seek.. Yet those who rule use the War machine to their advantage.. I sigh with a heavier heart today.. As more innocent people will suffer.. I will leave you with a quote from a poem I wrote in 1993 about the Yugoslavian war, which is now Croatia..

Great sentiments Sue, I think John Lennons Imagine, will be a song of hope for many years to come, pity it cant be realised now, and the song be remembered as the prayer that united the world.
