Art~ Hobbies and Synchronisities

I am sitting out in the garden shielding my eyes from the glare of this beautiful Sun as I do not wish to miss one bit of the glorious weather.. So I am sat squinting to see the screen of my laptop as I attempt to publish some more of my painting art work..

I have been contemplating for a while in changing direction and taking life a little easier.. Although maybe life will get more hectic, I don’t know, for all is within my thoughts at the moment..Most of you who know me also know I work as a support worker.. Well sometimes this work can be quite stressful as well as rewarding.. And often when you are sensitive its hard to just switch off from the Day Job… So often when I need spells to relax, out comes my paints..

Painted Bucket with planted Fuchsia in it..

You all saw the results of my Bucket which I did a few weeks back. Such has been the response to it an idea formed in my mind…  This is the bucket above  as I sit looking at it.. Now filled with a Fuchsia plant..

I did have some herbs in it, but since then I painted a bigger tub, so the herbs are going in that one..  Now while this idea formed in my head, I had one or two ‘Signs’ which also were jumping out at me.. One was from MarDrag’s Blog in one of her thoughts for the day.. Gathering for the Future   this was the second nudge from a post I had read. Now when the ‘Signs’s show up, its important to take notice and act upon them.. Others have come in the form of my Dreams, which when interpreted were also encouraging me to look towards my Creative side, as I let other things go.

Now I am a patient person, but even I was amazed at how the Universe was nudging me along with my train of thought, for a few days later  as I mentioned to a colleague my thinking of putting a few items together to see if they would sell, my idea was to go Car Booting… But she kindly invited me along to a Coffee Morning at her local Baptist Church where to raise funds people were invited to have stalls, the rent for the stalls goes to various charities..

So this morning along I went, and to no surprise I was invited with open and enthusiastic arms.. as I met the various ladies who volunteered and who had crafts stalls along with helping cook meals for at times at least 85 people who came through the doors to have a wonderful nutritious dinner and pudding at a fraction of the cost it would cost in a Cafe.

My Colleague introduced me, and before I knew it I was being invited to bring along my art at any Coffee morning and set up stall… Now that is pretty Quick work in the space of a week, from my initial sending out my thoughts.. So I better get cracking and Paint!..

Below is a Very Large Tub I painted for our Garden, but you get the idea of what I will be painting on small little metal buckets or watering cans… I now have to source some plain metal buckets which could be used as plant holders and see if the Universe keeps delivering.. I know it will… Because it Feels Right…. and one of the things I always say.. Follow your Gut instincts, they  are there for a reason...

To Give you an idea of the Tubs size I sat it on top of the Bird bath

To Give you an idea of the Tubs size I sat it on top of the Bird bath

Below are all the images on the Tub I painted as you view it from each angle.. I hope you enjoy.. And Enjoy the ‘Art’ of Manifesting too… I will let you know how my own Manifestations are coming along !

Love and Blessings and as always thank you for reading, and Welcome too to the new subscribers who have followed recently.. I hope you enjoy browsing and finding many things of interest and please feel free to leave me your thoughts

Sue.

Beverley, thank you 🙂 You just need to just focus upon your intent that’s all, what ever that intent may be. , and then let that thought go, but just see ideas of it happening and the outcomes …
Lovely to see you and will catch up with you next few days.. 🙂

Hi Tamrah, and so pleased you enjoyed… Yes Tomorrow I am off to look at seeing if I can get a metal containers etc… I paint the background with metal paint, then use Arcylics and then when dry use a couple of coats of Clear varnish on it so they stay weather proof.. if used outdoors.
The speed of events amazed me!…. So love it when that happens.. means if it flows its meant to grow! 🙂

Yes I feel there comes a point when we need to start and look after ourselves.. Being empathic has its plus’s and minus’s.. While I paint I am in a different zone all together.. I so know you understand … Gardening too brings us into that Zone of freedom Thank you I appreciate your lovely visit and comment .. Hugs Sue

I think we have to do what feeds our own souls to replenish….art, music and gardening do that for me but I often don’t take the time then I suffer for it so this is a good reminder for me too 🙂 Take care.

Support work is hard, I have been doing some voluntary work with some of the wild kids….long story….the CRB thing was a pain in the backside…..my past is chequered but having cleared that and some training…kind of hoping that I make some difference….though I find it hard as the kids open up and talk to me, start to trust me….to watch them walk back, I would like to have a chat with some of the parents in private……..!

I love the pics, it’s the pureness of what you paint, the honesty and the beauty in the light, it’s as it is, not a perception, not an image, but a reality in a pure natural light….guess that’s why reading your blog inspires me……and the art you will sell, will inspire others to be better….do better ….light like mirrors reflects…..my somewhat crazy thought print!

I can see you being good in that field of work Duma, your empathy of knowing how it feels to be in certain situations and family life helps bring that understanding which leads to trust which is so important while Supporting especially those in vulnerable positions… I am pleased The CRB’s were overcome and I am certain those being supported by you will benefit..

Thank you Duma for those thought prints.. they brought me a warm glow, I am so happy my own thoughts bring inspirations .. I always just wanted to make a little difference in the world.. If I throw out a few thought pebbles, its so good when I get them to ripple back…
Thank you Duma for your feed back, I’m doubly blessed to be able to paint and pass along the joy of my art so someone can admire and feel better..
      Bless you

My gift of painting and drawing I so enjoy . And for far to many years I never painted or drew… .. I know I am far from being Good… having had no training, I just paint what I see and feel… But your most gracious compliment has left me glowing! I thank you so much..

Wow I love all of these superb paintings Sue, and the idea of painting straight onto the planting pots and tubs is an awesome idea, I might even have a go myself one of these days but I know they won’t be in the same league as yours that’s for sure 🙂

You have an incredible talent for these pastimes Sue, painting, knitting, baking and many more, your skill and expertise is limitless once you put your mind to things 🙂 I know how your knitting looks, your brilliance at sketching and painting and yes, I know that I have not tasted your baking but the deliciousness shows in the many photographs you have added over the years, yummy looking pies, sweet buns and tarts, and many more scrumptious recipes, not all of the sweet variety but equally mouth watering 🙂 🙂

I am not back at WP yet but when I do you can count on me visiting you more often like before 🙂 Have a very happy Monday Sue and keep up the great work in your garden, it is amazing looking 🙂

Andro, thank you my great friend, for the glowing comment… I am delighted you enjoyed the post and my art work..

The knitting and Baking.. well I am also a great believer in mind over matter.. And I was often taught there is no such word as Can’t! LoL.. SOoooo…. If you do not try your hand at things you do not know what you can achieve.. So I paint, I sew, I cook, I garden… We can all do these things…. And the more we enjoy the better we become at doing them.. Thats all.. Practice, with Patience is my Motto.. LOL….

And I dare say Andro, as a Fan of Football and F1, you can kick a ball and drive a car… Now I know I will never become a Picasso and you may never be a Lewis Hamilton Lol who I think is running in at 2nd at the moment….. But we enjoy do we not!… 😀

So when you have a moment on WP again after the World Cup and F1… I have a new tasty Rhubarb Upside down cake in my recipe list.. 🙂 Now that was real tasty.. 🙂

Enjoy your time away Andro. and See you soon..

    Hi Sue,

You do paint well, don’t you! Those on display are marvelous creations. As you look at that rabbit, the hedgehog, the toad and the other creatures looking back at you, what thoughts come up?

I sense positivity. Do the signs you speak of embody this? I was reading about what science has determined how thoughts come up for us. I was astonished to know that our mind, at a sub-consciousness level, has already fired those neurons about what action we would take quite a few seconds before we have even thought about doing that! That is incredible isn’t it? So, as we see what we notice as’signs’ , could this have something to do with a subterranean decision making about which we remain unaware of?

    I remain curious………

You sense right Shakti… Positive feelings emanate when I read my ‘Sign’s… and its the ‘Ease’ in which we ‘Feel’ which promotes us seeking more of the same..
and once we focus then let go of that focus worrying not how it will be brought into our alignment that speeds up the process, If I were to worry about How when where etc.. I would in essence put blocks upon the process, Knowing that all will come allows it to flow into being..

I just realised that your blog isn’t in my RSS Feed Reader so remedied that forthwith :). Oh what a LOVELY little mouse on that bucket! Matches that fuchsia perfectly :). You are very talented with your painting Sue. I can see your gorgeous art walking out the door and you making a tidy profit in the process. It’s wonderful when people love what you do and when your art is although a cathartic way to relieve stress it’s a double whammy of a bonus. I, too, am with you on the universe and that book that I shared (the free online one) is all about giving. Being generous WITHOUT thinking that you should get some kind of payment (thanks, gratitude?) in return. The thing that most people don’t realise is that everything…EVERYTHING runs in cycles of balance and the world, nature EVERYTHING is constantly trying to achieve equilibrium/balance. If you give out, you get back. I like to think you get back what you need and so far, my theory hasn’t let me down :). Hugs from foggy 1C Sidmouth and now that you are in my RSS Feed Reader I will be visiting on a regular basis 🙂

I remember being mortally terrified when the last Iraqi war started. I thought we were witnessing WW3 and that my kids wouldn’t even grow up to know about the devastation of war let alone work actively to prevent it BUT you live and learn…there isn’t any warmongering money in blowing up the world now is there? Did you know that the people making the decisions in the U.S.; the head honcho’s of war, make billions of dollars out of the machinations of war? Interesting to say the least…just goes to show that narcissists, psychopaths and sociopaths are running our world 😦

I have done this sort of thing in the past but not recently. I once acquired an old spool used for the kind of electrical they use for power lines and painted a design of flowers on it and used it for a coffee table. I presently have a door stop behind the front door with another painted design. We have something in common here. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely beautiful artwork Sue, being involved in painting like that must be a stress release valve, I saw one of your works before and it bought all sorts of ideas to my mind, I have an old French watering can that could do with some of that artistic creation, I did once have an old iron, the ones that were placed on stoves to heat up, a friend of mine upturned and its now a beautiful painting resting on its own inbuilt stand, ahh the wonders of imagination Sue.

Dear Emu, you should get out the paints and paint your watering can, then coat it with some clear varnish.. I use Yacht Varnish to waterproof the paint design.. I know of the Irons you speak of, I have seen them painted.. I have an old show hobbing foot that has been done . That was what gave me the idea to paint the bucket.. 🙂 Many thanks for dropping in Ian and sending you some thoughts.. I hope its warmed up since last you commented 🙂 Hugs Sue

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
