Peace And Freedom.

PEACE

Peace it the place I dwell..

Up in the mountains… casting a spell

Of tranquil bliss, where Eagles soar

Away from man’s roar..

Peace is the heart of natures Bliss

A rivers tears and dewdrop kiss

A leaf that floats across the sky

The smell of Earth, I ask her why

I feel her lonely heartbeat score…

I close my eyes……I feel Peace.. And More…

Peace is the quiet breath in early morn

When one opens your eyes to early dawn

When shadows no longer hold the dark

But when Peace is filled in Dawns red Heart..

Listen to the song of early light

When birds rise bringing their delight

Into a Day they worry not how to survive

But they Sing their joy as on wings they dive

Peace is the closed eyelids of a babies sleep

A mother’s love in whose arms she keeps

them tight and safe within slumbered dreams

I close my eyes…. I feel Peace … And More….

Peace is the sweep of artists brush

As colours create the mountain hush

As clouds roll by on heavens sky

Peace is the shooting star that falls from high

But the best of these is as you close your eyes

As you hear the silence of your inward sighs

Listen now to the Peace within

as your mind is emptied of cutter and din

For I close my eyes ….

I feel Peace….

And More……………………..

Peace and freedom… elusive to many yet so easy to achieve and experience. A little bit of clarity, intention, focus and action. Then, voila!

Lovely poem about peace Sue! You know, sometimes I realize that for me, whenever things get a little too quiet within or even in my mind…he starts up his chattering again. I have questioned my mind and you know…he says it’s boring!!!
And then I wonder, could it be true that we are so used to having so much drama in our lives that when there is peace, we feel uncomfortable with it and in some for or the other we create more drama, within or without..just to feel comfortable again?

Loved the video! The music was beautiful and the eagle…made me grin…it was like the eagle could take a break from soaring the skies…hehe

Yes Shree, know where you are coming from on this, I think at times our Ego just loves to chatter as it listens to itself speak, telling us to Fear, to Succeed, and just hates it when we tell it to be quiet as we seek the stillness of peace 🙂

Thank you Sue, this brings back memories of student days in Brighton when I found a ball of grey fluff on the forest floor that turned out to be a young kestrel who I looked after with the help of a forgiving landlady and a PDSA vet until she could fly away. Harriet was a joy especially in my early days of exploring the North American Way. Love, David

Hi DW…I had seen this video before and loved it. Thanks for sharing as I love watching it. I believe we are slowly becoming more aware of the animal world and are beginning to care a bit more. I cannot wait until we are all one and the cruelty, harm and ignorance has ended! Great poem by the way. You always express your thoughts so well. As we go forward on our journey we must stay awake to the true reality no matter how painful but always hold peace in our hearts and make that our mission. Thanks my friend. Love and hugs to you…xxoo VK

Yes the painful reality is about to come into many more lives unless we start to Wake up to ourselves…. Always sending you Peace dear VK… and I have enjoyed my own few days of a peaceful interlude as I baked, gardened and walked, and just enjoyed being a Granny…. We so need to keep centred within our Hearts right now… This Mission is why we came, and it draws ever nearer the final chapters of what we came to achieve xoxox Hugs DW

Sue, you know I love your poetry. Peace….you found the perfect words to describe what peace is. It’s those little things we can sometimes take for granted and forget to pay attention to. As I type this I am listening to a bluebird and a crow talking away. Any time now the geese will be flying overhead to their evening home. I awake to the sounds of the birds each morning. The geese are usually the ones to wake me flying back to the lake each morning. This is peace to me, and the fact that I can tell the time of day by which birds are here.

Love the video. To fly with a bird would be amazing.

You paint a beautiful image of your listening world Lois, Geese, bluebird and Crow all talking away…. Autumn is now here with its chill and winds, and just as you said some time back I think we get the jet stream weather which you have had previously pass your way… Yes I often have dreams whereby I am flying, ( like superman ) lol, but oh that we could fly with the birds that would be truly amazing 🙂

Thank you, Sue.. Often I wish I could record the lovely sounds out here for a day and share them. Since we are on the same jet stream, look for a warming trend. We are back up in the 70s again this week with no rain and lots of warm sun.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
