I’m always going on about how our thoughts create. How they can lift our spirits or they can be our worst enemy and bring us to our knees..
This weekend I managed to chill out.. Sunday my Hubby and I packed our ruck sack and drove out to enjoy the scenery and walks in the Derbyshire Peak District.. These are the valleys I walked as a child, where you could walk out with out fear and villages would leave their doors unlocked and everyone in the village would know everyone else. How times have changed!…
As I walked the tension of the last week slipped from my shoulders as I breathed in the fresh air and basked in the Sun. We walked passed endless wild flowers in hedgerows and meadows, seeing the blossom on trees and glimpses of nesting birds fetching worms and insects to feed their young.
We passed this wonderful Field full of knee high Buttercups, Here it is with a Horse Chestnut Tree standing proud in the Middle of a sea of yellow Buttercups..
And as I breathed the air into my lungs, I felt it fill me up with energy and it got me thinking. How the Air we all breathe is invisible to all, and yet as I looked up I saw the clouds drifting across the sky as the grass swayed in the fields. The birds and the insects and many butterflies I saw all using this same invisible Air all travelling, all busy creating new life to carry on their species..
We walked along a disused train track, that is now a cycle path.. A few years ago the HeadstoneTunnel of this track was re-opened and I think it took us around 5 minutes to walk through its length around a long curve of 490 metres until we saw the light at the other end. As we entered it was cold and damp, but there are lights installed in the ceiling and although very dark you can see your way… Children on bikes rang their bells and turned on their lamps and screamed and shouted to one another and their parents joined in the fun, as the echo of the Tunnel amplified their voices as they rode through the tunnels length…
It made me think again how Air is the element of communication.. How when we speak it travels, Our voices can be a mere whisper, or we can bellow… Like the Wind it can be but a breeze or a Tornado .. Our words have power and we can use them to comfort or to chastise, we can use them to Heal or to Wound.. and I know how often words can cut sharper than any knife, or soothe like balm…
Air is also the element through which our thoughts travel, Our thoughts in construction travel out like radio waves into the ether using the element of Air to travel. Our thoughts are Energy,We may not see them, but then neither do we see the Air, but its there!… Invisible just the same..
How many thoughts do we think in a day?.
Are They Positive or Negative?
We Can send out a prayer for someone as we send out healing, and often we send out our compassion through our emotional thoughts. So too can we pick up on others thoughts, we often instinctively know when some one is feeling down.. Or happy, for the energy they emit travels through the air as we pick up those feelings . Some go one stage further using Telepathy or clairvoyance which are deeper levels of this ability which we all have, but have forgotten how to use.
While I was walking along I was thinking how wonderful this Planet is and how Nature no matter what the elements throw at it, It still thrives to bloom and grow to the best it can be…
Here are some wonderful views of Wild flowers and just look at those dandelions which are thriving high up on the Rock ledges..
Our thoughts can create harmony or they can be destructive and even bring illness upon ourselves.. What ever we give out comes back.. Such is the nature of creation in its circular cycles.
Air is always in motion.. Air swirls and eddies and whirls back on itself.. It moves things along.. It whips things up, creating Change..
My blogging community has become a global family, we communicate through technology, we are no longer isolated we are in instant contact across vast distances..
Never before have the events around our world been transmitted via satellite into our homes via the media and TV so quickly. And in an instant our thoughts are affected with the emotions we are giving out with what we are witnessing as we think! and thus send back out into the ether either positive or negative thoughts!
The Nature of our Communication with our global family is crucial for a healthy planet. We are seeing Old patterns of living altering.. We are witnessing the breaking Free.. We need to move beyond Fear and we need to open up our thoughts in non-judgemental ways as we each of us take responsibility not only for our Actions.. We each need to understand the importance of the Power of Thoughts and how collectively they need to break free of old doctrines and embrace Unity and Harmony, that all are equal. And its time that this divide of Rich and Poor be addressed.
We may not realise the power we all possess , but others do. and so our minds are constantly bombarded with Fear from those communication devices.. Learning how to meditate within our quiet places , going out within Nature and finding our own inner balance within ourselves, we are able to direct out thoughts and intentions. It may not seem a lot.. But our Thoughts DO make a huge difference to the Collective Consciousness.
The more we communicate from our hearts then the more others will want to do the same.. Sending healing love out into the world…
We too can use this Great Communication Tool.. And spread out our thoughts to create a more harmonious Caring World..
So when next you send out your voice into the Ether, Remember it is energy and remember it travels out into the air..
Remember also what we think is also sent out into the Ether.
Change is in the Air
Let it begin with You!
Blessings ~Sue

It is a great time to be out in nature Sue. As part of my work I walk or run to get to my destinations, often through the country lanes of Colchester where I encounter nature first hand. It is also great to be out with my camera in nature where I can chill out from the stress of life.
You are right that our thoughts create our reality. The universe is energy and the mind can influence and weave that energy into whatever we are thinking, good or bad. However, there is the chaotic aspect of the universe that throws random events, challenges and blessings, in our direction regardless of how we are thinking.

Hi Alex, good to see you, and thank you for taking time to comment.. Yes life at times can seem to be so chaotic and seemingly these events often push us to our limits.. But having gone through a few traumatic times in the course of my life, I now see each one was a lesson needed that set me upon my present pathway and strengthened me in the process… I look back now in hindsight and see that maybe there was a plan at work.. even though at the time I didnt think so.. So hang on in there and I am sure soon all will become clearer and calmer .. 🙂

It is so beautiful over there. I remember once looking up Surry as that was where my father was from. Oh it was so gorgeous. If England ever stops its horrible control and oppression on the people I would consider a dual citizenship…Ha! Then we could visit 🙂 So glad you got away and enjoyed your time in nature. You sound relaxed! Be well my friend and thanks for sharing you photos. So much fun to travel along with you…Love and hugs…VK

Sue, it’s good to see someone else enjoying the dandelions. They are so hated here and while I don’t want them taking over my gardens I do love seeing a field of yellow in a sea of green. Yesterday I headed out to the library during a break in our rain. When I came out it had started to rain again. I laughed, pulled out a book and sat under the porch roof. I took time to smell and listen to the rain. People would come out, upset to see it raining then see me off to the side and inquire how I was getting home. I told them there was no hurry, and that I was simply enjoying the rain until it slowed down. Every one, Sue, stopped and gave that a thought. Then started telling me how much they liked the smell or some other aspect to rain. When they stepped out to head to their cars I noticed a funny thing, not one raced to their car for shelter. Our thoughts can and do make a difference.

I have always loved dandelions Lois, ever since collecting them for my pet rabbit as a child 🙂 .. Love that you sat on that porch and waited for the rain to abate and there is nothing like the smell of rain on grass or on the wind… Its great you made people ‘Think’ about the rain, We forget without the rain nothing would grow… and smiled at the fact no one rushed dodging the rain… Our thoughts ARE going to Make a Difference my friend,.. We keep working on them in our own ways one by one!.. So good to know its happening ALL the time with our individual efforts 🙂 WE DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! 🙂 Love it.. xxx

This is a most breathtaking posting Sue and written with a clear passion of life and all of its sweet essence, sometimes taking a step back and viewing the earth is a wonderful experience, and one that can be shared, such as you have given everyone here with this positive post on nature and life cycles of all creatures, and man that also thrive on this planet.
Often we ponder the destruction of our mother earth, and seek knowledge to prevent future happenings that affect all of us, and then there are the peaceful moments where only the goodness of life around us furnishes our minds with pure optimism. Thank you for this delightful entry that offers everyone that reads it a glimpse of life around our planet, one that is full of wonder and a joy to behold.
I have certainly enjoyed viewing your slideshow, each with photographs that celebrate the clarity of life around us and show us that we can all make the difference, a choice that is for the goodness of living 🙂 🙂
Have a lovely Wednesday Sue 🙂

Andro, Many thanks for this wonderful encouragement.. Yes we should all celebrate in how beautiful our Earth is, and understand it is on loan to us. We do not own her land, and we can not keep taking and taking from her.. And yet she gives and gives… And every day I am ore-struck at the marvellous miraculous beauty she offers unconditionally to us all.. And its not until nature shows us her wrath that we realise just what we have had….. I am pleased you enjoyed the photo’s of our travels..:-) have a great Wednesday also Andro.

a very thoughtful and uplifting posting Sue, one which resonates with me at this precise moment, sitting here, having just woken from a bad dream. I feel the weight of it still, but your words lifted me, and made me smile. For ’tis the ability to think and work things out for ourselves that we ‘who we are’. A species able to communicate in so many ways, yet some choose to be so downbeat. I know we’re bombarded with negativity every day, by news and worries about the future, though as you say, we can lift this worry and becomes harbingers of joy and not doom. Lovely photo’s my friend, those and your description of your trip made me feel as if I was actually there. breathing in the same refreshing air, and looking at this amazing structure built by man, The Headstone Tunnel, which at the time was denigrated as an eyesore and destroyer of the countryside. As you have said before, Mother Nature takes back whatever she likes, any wounds to the earth are soon covered with greenery and healed over, giving flora and fauna alike a chance to breathe anew. Such beautiful scenery is a balm to the soul, as is the thoughts for change for the better, to think positively, to look on the future with bright and wide open eyes, seeing what’s possible as well as feeling it deep inside. Change is in the air, we can feel it, just as we can pass it on.. love and light to you dear friend.. xPenx.

Pen, thank you for your most thoughtful comment, I hope you managed to get back to sleep, seems we both had a sleepless night I too was awake at this time… Energies are abound and working through us on many levels during our sleep and in those twilight hours.. Yes we each of us have doubts and worries, I am not immune by any means, its just recognising them and turning our thoughts around to be appreciative in what we have and in the gifts we are given.. I see so many reasons to be thankful as we look around the world seeing the many plights of peoples in poorer nations struggling to live on next to nothing, while others never give them a passing thought as they live off in one Profits of others hard works and perhaps never consider what is spent on an expensive meal out could feed a family for a year in come countries.. .. Its often in the wee small hours my thoughts tumble as I think of all the injustices.. and yet each soul is still set upon their own journey, each and every one has purpose to teach another be it through poverty or greed.. The Balance is the key to finding a better way to live in harmony for all who grace our wonderful planet. Including our beautiful animal kingdom..

Beautiful thoughts on connection Sue. I believe that the greatest connections are through the heart whose element is AIR. In the days when young ladies would swoon, a fit of the airy vapours, at the sight of a handsome young man they would be given smelling salts as the sense of smell is associated with the base element of EARTH. Literally to bring them back down to earth! Many thanks Love, David

HooOOOOOoooWWWWWwwwwLLLLLLooooooooo! Lovely post 🙂 I love a good walk out close to nature and it seems to becoming an increasingly rare event over recent times…I liked your train of thought re air etc as you strolled! And your ref to telepathy interested me too. There’s no doubt about its existence if you’ve experienced it, but most people think its just a flight of fancy for the slightly deluded of mind, Or those who watch too much sci fi 😉 I guess with technology being what it is we will gradually evolve away from such forms of communication altogether because there won’t be any need for such abilities…but then again…how many know what they’re missing? After all they’ve already forgotten how to use it before they ever reach a point of considering it! xx
