Nominee’s ~Awards~ Gratitude

I always feel quite humbled  when it comes to  Accepting Awards.. And it takes me forever to get my head into gear and accept them. I think this maybe because I Have to comply with the various rules that go with them. Not that I am against rules. Just that for me I always struggle as to who I nominate for these awards, as it means leaving others out of the list of chosen nominees. And I scratch my head as there are so many great blog posts out there and I have 98 I subscribe to. And to choose just a handful out of these all inspiring uplifting very different blog posts is always going to be hard to choose from if not difficult.

At first I thought of not accepting any, and put off accepting many for a while.. But then the people who nominate us, have gone to a lot trouble of nominating us and it is only right that when some one offers you a Gift, you are gracious enough to accept it. or at least offer your Gratitude of thanks…

Since the beginning of 2012 I have had various different Awards come in and due to time management on my part, plus wanting to post my own blogs and I have to say to all of you who post Once a Day.. How I admire your dedication, as I could never keep that pace up.

So along with trying my best to keep abreast other blogs, as I’m also very nosey! Smile and going to work, Granny sitting, and do all the other general things we females do… Ok.. We humans do. I don’t want any discrimination here to all you men folk, who juggle your work loads and blogs Smile lol.. So for now I have chosen  to accept two awards  and for those who have left me other awards recently, please bare with me for your Patience..I will get around to accepting in due course.. It may take a while though.. Ok here goes~~

First My Thanks go to Dogkisses for the Kreativimage Blogger Award Michelle site is inspiring, and very Creative, She tells her story how she has coped with Fibromyalgia and the intense pain that I know from experience it causes, along with perpetual fatigue. And how she is setting her sights on transforming herself through self healing and working with Nature.

And Also Christy on Poetic Parfait Who I have mentioned before upon my awards page, but again I never got around to accepting this award.. So thank you again to both of you.

Rule 1. Thank the blogger who nominated me.Thank you again Christy and Michelle..

2. Post a photo of the award

3. Share ten things about me that my readers don’t know.

4. Choose six people to nominate for this award.

5. Let the six bloggers know they have been awarded

Ok so the 10 things about myself some of you may not know…

1, I failed my 11plus exam… ( This Exam at aged 11 yrs decided which school you went to in the UK for the rest of your education- either the clever school or not so clever school..  I went to the not so clever one.. and learn a whole lot more than some clever ones did Smile

2. I’m the eldest of 5 siblings. ( I was called Little Mother )

3. I used to ride Horses.

4. I used to jog too. ( Smile ) way back when ..

9. I won an award for Music in school age 14. my very first award.. Smile

10. I used to be scared of spiders… But overcame my fear.. ( We can all over come our Fears no matter what they are, and the key to bringing about Light and love into the world is not to buy into the Fear of the World and negativity we see around us.. But to send Love and Light and not  have judgmental thoughts )

Way to go DW…You are far more gracious than I. I no longer accept them as the rules drive me crazy and I think a no strings attached awards would be nice. If anything just link to other bloggers you care about …Enjoy the recognition as you deserve it so much…Be well and and welcome the spring, it’s on it’s way!!! VK

Lol…First of all I suppose I best tell you why I’m laughing. I had once broke the rules and put my whole blog list in when I had to choose only a few to nominate. On two other occasions after I had put up a list of allowed amount to nominate it bugged me so much after I had published that I went back to my post to edit it with my entire blogroll This last time I tried to stick to the rules…the last one. And since I had posted it it has been eating at every core of me, for I feel that I should be able to nominate who I want and as often as I want once the award has been passed to me. So seeing that your all of your blogroll is nominated gave me a chuckle and warmed my heart.
I love all your answers and when I drink tea, it is sweet tea.
So congrats on your awards, my friend…they’re well deserved!
    Hugs, xx

I completely see me NOT sticking to the rules this time, my sweet friend! Especially in light of what I am posting this evening. You are such a doll. Would you change your blog roll to my new address? I would hate for any more people to get lost.

I lost all of my subscribers when I moved. 😦 Trying to find everyone has been a monumental disaster. Fortunately, friends have been sending people my way to be found again ❤

    Thank you, Sue!

Hey, Sue! Congratulations on your awards! 😀
I don’t accept the awards but I am always grateful when someone nominates me… they have taken the time to nominate me after all, and it is a nice thought, even though the rules tend to be a bit much! I’d go for the no strings attached award too! 😀

Congratulations and my hats off to your inspiring blog. You deserve them all. I love the way you handled it here, my wise Dreamwalker friend,
I have nominated my whole blog roll in the past because like Deb it eats at me to nominate only a few. Each blog is unique and I enjoy each one for different reasons.

=) loved to hear a little more about you… I don’t like spiders… I’m not as bad as I use to be with them… but, I don’t like them. They probably don’t like me much either, I guess, so we are even. 😉

And, I can’t do the awards thing either… although, I think they are pretty, and love the idea… I just can;t keep up.. or chose, I made a post way back when, where i also nominated my whole blog list.. LOL… (http://samanthamariahjane.wordpress.com/2010/02/10/sunshine-blog-award/)

Sue, I love the way you handled this award thing! I just thank people right then and there when they nominate me–and never do anything else. I love supporting them on their own blogs and pour encouragement all over them as my way of acknowledging these awards. Congratulations on these very well-deserved awards here. Love the info we gained about you–I am still chuckling over the “not-so-smart-school” thing! You certainly do put most folks here in the U.S. when it comes to real wisdom!

Would love to overcome my fear of spiders.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
