Nature never ceases to amaze me with its spectacular blooms. And just when you think most of your garden is dying back for the Winter, you get a surprise.. Today is November 6th and my Clematis I thought had long since stopped flowering, and yet here today among the dried dead leaves of its tendrils is one solitary bloom..
This year in particular I have noticed how Nature’s Blooms have flourished and in particular how many have started to bloom later or send new shoots or fruits… In our own Allotments the raspberry canes and blackberries have sent a second late crop and there are many berries upon the trees, all Natures signs, as she gives us her fruits to sustain us and the wild life through the winter months.. We should always read the Signs of Nature.
Nature never gives up, It always strives to bloom even coming through the harshest of winters her Spring Flowers burst into life ..
Its a reminder to us all that we too should never give up, and no matter how harsh life gets, we should always hold up our heads and be the best we can be..
Have a relaxing Sunday to all who come to read here..

Beautiful Sue.
Roses still bessing our garden here in Spain and the pear tree flowered for the second time this year, we even have a few shoots on the lavender struggling to scent our autumn air. We, like Nature are amazing if only we could see it! Love David

Thank you ~Art for adding your thoughts… No we should never give up- our Earth Mother doesn’t .. our Earth Mother eventually heals the sacrs man has left behind, as she slowly re-seeds and grows once again… Our Earth gives her children all they need, there is plenty for all, and yet still mankind doesnt respect her and is still posioning and wounding her…. No one can stop nature and Nature will one day have her say…

I’ve never managed to grow a Clematis Sue, I don’t know if I’ve placed them wrongly, but the only trellis I have is at the bottom of the garden, so mayhap not enough sun and good earth…Your last flower bloom is a lovely sight, an almost last gasp before the dying back and preparation for next year… We should learn so much from nature, instead of fighting the changes, just accept the flow… it’s nature. so it’s natural… It’s the continuance of the circle of life… A Happy week to you and yours.. xPenx

“We should learn so much from nature, instead of fighting the changes, just accept the flow… it’s nature. so it’s natural… It’s the continuance of the circle of life”
I so agree with you here Pen, Nature is a continuance of the Circle of life.. It is Mankind who has upset the Balance… He has fell out of Harmony with Nature and has used Greed as his cutting tools to scar and poison … Taking and not giving back… He has lost the Old ways as his material world has taken president over everything else.. We should realise that each breath we breathe Mother nature gives us every breath.. We cannot survive without her.. And yet I am certain she can survive very well without Mankind.. Many should take heed of that and learn to respect and live more in harmony with nature and our animal Kingdom.. Only then will we find that which we seek.. Balance and peace.. Many thanks Pen for your comments…
As to your Cematis.. sometimes its the soil they do not like, try replanting in April after the frosts have gone and see how it fairs then.. 🙂

I, too, am being constantly rejoiced with the continuing bloom, even more exuberant bloom, in my yard this November. So happy to know this is a joy available to you there, as well. The Signs of Nature are sort of the Creator’s telegraph/text/twitter messages to us, I feel!

Love that Granbee, the signs of nature are sort of the Creators Twitter etc.. LOL.. Nature is always giving us the ‘Signs’ if only we would learn to read them… in fact we are given ‘Signs’ all the way through our life.. But we have long forgotten how to look for them and even when they are right there in front of us shouting to be seen.. we walk on by with eyes closed.. I hope soon Many more will re-awaken to those signs Granbee.. and heed them, before its too late.. Many thanks for dropping by.. 🙂

I just love this post Sue!
Your thoughts and words about nature are beautiful and ones I completely agree with. I think you’re right also with your thoughts in your comment, it does seem that greed is at the root of all wars, so senseless and horrible. We can only hope that there will be worldwide peace one day soon. Big hugs, Nikki

Peace has to start with ourselves Nikki… and our responsiblity to the Earth starts with our own thoughts and Actions.. and more and more people are becoming aware of how we cannot carry on abusing Nature or each other.. So I do live in Hope.. that one day soon we will all wake up to that Fact.. 🙂

Even the wildlife in my garden have acted strange this year and gave me many surprises. Hope you are having a great day, we have rain here and the Ducks are just loving the Level of the Pond in my garden. Hugs Sheila 🙂 Wile-e he doesn’t like the rain at all. xx

Lovely post and a great message embraced by it 🙂 I believe it has been a wonderful year for nature and despite the current run of more seasonal weather the blooms have been able to enjoy an exceptionally long and late summer…You’re right too…nature never gives up…and it’s just as well considering it has humans to contend with on a daily basis!!
