Today I have had some spare time.. This morning I went for some Reiki healing which my Daughter kindly gave me.. And I spent time reading as I chilled out today… But it wasn’t long before the call of the Wild drew me in.. as I got out my Pastels and set about drawing one of my Totem Animals which is on my Drum..
The Fox Totem I was interested to read that the Fox Totem also teaches about Healthy Eating Habits; Small meals and often. Which I needed to hear as I have been skipping meals of late.. So thank you Foxy…
Another trait is Invisibility ….. Invisible I have tried and it didn’t work. 
. Although I often melt within a crowd..
I really need to start my Drumming again as I’ve not done any in the past month….
Here is a Poem I did oh way back in the 90’s which I will share with you again…
Indian Ways..
Fire light glow – drum beat slow.
Haunting cries – Redskin eyes.
Rattle snake – Rattle shake.
Pipe smoke – Feathered cloak.
Spirit song – Shadows long.
Wolf howl – Warriors prowl.
Buffalo white – Great Spirit light.
Medicine man – Tribes and clan.
Earth Mother – Nature lover.
Fire light dim – Dusty moccasin.
Silver Moon – Lone pipers tune.
Indian Nations – Reservations.
Lost Earth ways – Indian Braves.
Ghostly sounds – Hunting grounds.
Sioux and Crow – Apache Navajo.
Chieftain Days – Indian Ways.
Peace…

Wow… This is a wickedly excellent offering here Sue, and we are definitely spoiled with this posting, a lovely poem and a brilliant drawing also, now that is what I call excellent 🙂
Actually I get the feeling that you are urging me on, sort of thrusting the pencil into my hand and saying “Come on Andro, it is time to get doodling”, well you have certainly given me food for thought with this wonderfully drawn Fox, what a wicked Artist and Poet you are Sue 🙂

Yes Oh Might Andro! I bow down to your wish however your command ‘Or Else’! has me wondering what you have upon your own menu this week??… So long as its not Soup! containing Carrots!… 🙂 As you see Foxy has restored me with my sly sense of Humour! lol And Yes I eat breakfast…and enjoy a boiled egg, but I give the ‘Ketchup’ a miss… 🙂

Now I make a rather decent Carrot soup you know, and home-made is always the best with none of those additives and besides where else can one have the Chef parading around in the kitchen in just an apron? 🙂 lol

Beautiful.
I have to go outside, as I’ve just remembered, and gather my collection for the medicine wheel. A hurricane is coming our way. We will likely only get winds and rain where I live, but on the coast, it could be bad. I’m hoping nobody, not a single person, will get hurt.

The Beat of the Drum.. is like the Beat of Mother Earth.. we all of us have within us that very same beat.. That Pulse.. Our Heart Beat… We but need to listen to its sound as we hummm along to its tune.. Sometimes we take our very own heart beats for granted… I was reminded how precious the beat of the Drum is…Just like looking out at the Stars.. we take much for granted here on Earth.. and it isnt until its gone we see how precious ALL Moments are… Thank you for your comments here Lorrena.. 🙂

I Have to ask myself that Question as well Renee LOL.. You see I’m but an ‘Ordinary Woman’ who has within her this inner ‘Knowing’.. of a place I lived long ago.. And one of those places was with the beautiful Native Americans Indians… The memory is within my mind, and since a young girl I have had an affinity with them to the point my home is full of their artefacts.. When I visited Canada in the year 2000 It was as if I went home.. I cannot explain to anyone with the exception of a few who understand how we are so much more than we realise.. That we are indeed Spirit – Light Beings come to experience Many Lives in our progression back to that source of Light and Love we all emanated from …

Hi Ian… you are one of those Souls Ian who understands more than most the Incarnate Soul… and it’s beyond explanation it’s a ‘Knowing’ within.. I hope that the knowing I have even in the smallest of ways helps others see that this world is a special place and we are all special beings upon it..
Many are struggling with inner turmoil and emotions as this world is changing and Time is escalating and I haven’t been exempt .. But We work through them, using the Gifts we all have either be it through Writing, Poems or Art, all is an expression, and we need to share our thoughts as we open up those gates to let others see that we are but one aspect of a Soul Incarnate in this life at this time.. But as you know my dear friend we are indeed a Soul who are many.. And NOW is the time for us to start and remember who we are… As we connect back together within the consciousness of Creation.

A beautiful painting…I like the eyes and Fox medicine is one for me too! I believe it is often invisible as is the coyote. I see fox on hillside above the river from my window interesting that he notices me as I notice him, most of the time. 🙂

All too busy to see what is up there flying around.. or in our case what is all around us.. For there is No UP THERE or DOWN THERE!
