Carry on searching and you will find
That perfect moment that peace of mind
You’ll find it among all the places you look
None are within the pages of a book
While a book can teach you knowledge unbound
The Peace of your heart there is not to be found
Page after page we turn and can read
But the Peace we all seek first comes as a seed
So long do we lie in the depths of the Dark
Forgetting the power from which we all start
A Spark to kindle from the love we all yearn
Ignited with passion as our hearts start to learn
An Island we languish alone and afraid
We cut down each other using words as our blades
Doing unto others, we do unto the whole
What we send out we reap back as souls
So we search and we find what was there all along
We just forgot the Harmony of Singing our Song
In Unity we blend, our voices become One
No longer separate, a choir has begun.
~~
In tune with Nature you’ll flourish and grow
Reaching for Light you spread out and glow
And that ‘Perfect Moment’, that Peace of Mind
It was always inside you, Seek and Find.

I shared this poem four years ago..
So I thought to share it again.
Our Trees, like our hearts have taken a battering over time,
especially in recent months as we have witnessed the horrors of flames.
But its never too late to rekindle the flame of Love in our Hearts,
as we nurture and respect each other and Mother Nature.
You have no idea the Power YOU each hold within your hearts as you send out love into the world.
Keep Sending LOVE!
Do not buy into the Fear being generated, Our thoughts are creating Our Future!
Have a wonderfully Peaceful Weekend All of you..

People will be amazed at how it all re-blossoms after the fires Sue. A phoenix will rise in all its colors, renewed and full of life. Maybe a bit slower than normal because of its intensity, but all the more beautiful because of it.

Many thanks dear Mark.. Yes, as the aboriginals know fires are a necessary part of the evolution process especially among some types of trees that require fire to regenerate their seeds..
I hope Mankind does not wait until faced with such disasters before she/he can regenerate their heart seeds, back to the source of love, in understanding that We are all of us responsible for our thoughts and actions..
I am happy dear Mark you enjoyed this particular Phoenix’s resurrection! 🙂 Thank you my friend 💜🙏💚

It is Peggy, when we stop and truly appreciate our surroundings and what Nature has provided so that we might breathe and flourish. We might then begin to appreciate her much more when she turns around and shows us just how good we’ve had it.. And Nature is only a reflection of ourselves, So may we all seek out her peace and help restore our collective balance..
Much love your way dear Peggy.. Have a restful Sunday ❤

Hi Jane, nothing like the click of knitting needles to match the rain drops lol… As for the digging.. We are on top of things.. A patch we’ve spread the muck on we are letting the rain do her work before we dig that piece over.. The other parts that we dug are for the potatoes and cabbages so the muck will get dug into the trenches when we set them.. All is looking good this Sunny day here too… ❤ Happy Knitting!!! ❤ And hugs from us both.. 🤗

Beautiful poem and thought-provoking. It is amazing how trees communicate underground and above ground in the tapestry of life. If we only vibrated totally with all the things we would be able to communicate with all and I’m sure they would let us know how destructive we are.

Yes, I agree with you. Trees are somewhat sentinels of nature. My soul screams every time I hear a chainsaw. I know trees like humans jump out of body before they die. I’m lucky that I live in a province that is heavily trees. Having said that logging companies clear cut ancient forest. Heavy protest in the past but will have to look into it further. I am having an unproductive Sunday. Downright lazy lol. I hope your Sunday is productive as usual.

I like you focus on love, Sue. As how it should be for that is who and what we are. When we connect to Nature, miracles begin to happen. I know that stands true for me. Loved your images, especially the one of the dirt path. Just lovely.
I know you were over at my blog yet …. there is just one more post I would be grateful to you to read. It is far from my normal post for it is about the severe changes we are seeing in our weather and what the outcomes are. What urged me to write it? I saw this morning a Crocus coming up that should not be until the end of February at the earliest. I don’t know about you, but I feel out of sync for it seems I’m not able to rely on Nature to guide me. It’s become so confusing and too far from the norm.
I’m going to take my concern, my feelings of being scared, and I will even more think of ways to assist our Earth. And I will change my focus back to love and beauty. Yet, if we don’t see reality for what it is we are not able to change it. I continue my Walk in Love regardless of the extreme changes I see. Much love to you! xo

Thank you Amy… I too have noticed Nature is about a month in front of itself.. It has been since autumn.. So not surprising to see crocus earlier than normal.. But this is not NORMAL… This is the NEW Normal.. We are in a cycle pattern that is different.. So much I could say here my dear friend.. But I also want to keep the balance and not spread thoughts that are based on my own feelings, and those whom I have come to trust who have a scientific background such as Gregg Braden who speaks of these cycles and understanding our Earth Cycles, who have documented and also Science has proven our planet has warmed, cooled, warmed iced over many times to similar points as Now.. But Man-kinds pollution will have a baring on this as we know..
What we do rely upon is our inner instincts Amy.. And that is what I am going to keep on trusting my friend…
Love and Hugs my friend.. And will look forward to catching you next post..<3 once I have caught up with my comments.. ❤

I just feel so off, Sue. I always could depend on Mother to show me the Way. Now that She is all confused Herself and the Seasons are no longer making sense, the ground is shifting under my feet. I understand we do go in cycles, yet, IMO, these changes have been too drastic and too fast! And it is all due to what man has done regarding pollution, creating “super bugs” both in agriculture and medicine, and a total disregard that Mother is a living breathing Being who has been hurt too much. My inner instincts have become so chaotic at times. When I’m with my camera or out in my gardens, the chaos ceases. No worries about the post I sent you a link to. I believe you expressed what I did or to that effect in my post of today. Take care of YOU!! xoxoxoxo

Agreed, we are so off kilter in so many things, and have forgotten to to respect Mother Earth along with each other Amy.. This world IS changing rapidly my friend and so many things will change our perception of our reality very quickly.. We have to be prepared, and come to a greater awareness of this particular ‘Time’ within our current ‘Cycle’… I will try and look out a good video that explains more of what I have come to understand over the years.. ( we have read many similar books you and I ) So I know our ‘Awareness’ expands deeper than most.. All I can say dear Amy in the short term here within my reply right now, is that we have to shift our awareness… You dear friend are doing instinctively that… Focusing on the beauty.. The miracles, the Micro, and the Light… When we do even these simple things we are helping create that shift within our Frequency.. And it all has to come from ‘Within’… This is where we change our reality.. no one is going to lift us into another higher dimension.. We lift ourselves via our Inner thoughts… Letting go of Fear, learning to Love, not to judge… But see all parts good and bad are all part of the whole.. Each on their own frequency of learning their own particular lessons needed to further them still..
And ALL of us agreed to be here at this time.. Even those whose stories we may think are harsher and unfairly treated… Each comes to benefit the whole so others can learn compassion, and how to care..
I will be back later to comment upon your post I read it dear Amy.. and will ponder how best to answer your question..
Love and Light my dear friend… We will all be tested some more in the next few years… Keep that Love in your heart… For that is the Key… ❤ ❤ ❤

Sue, it is when I am not with my camera that I can feel the “general chaos” which knocks me off course. I feel scattered for I have come to depend on Mother to guide me in so many ways. Now that the Seasons no longer make sense and I am seeing things I have never seen, I pray I can adjust so I get my Balance back. I need stability. It does not help with this wet dreary weather my enthusiasm to be outdoors with my camera has fizzled miserably. This grey ….. OH it is awful! Winter here can be so pretty, so spectacular and again I feel at such a loss …. This weather is just nuts and driving me the same way in the process! Now when the sun does come out I manage to get outside but those days are not oft.
Just being honest …. what is the point in anything if we cannot be honest between ourselves?
I’m working on getting adjusted so these shocks regarding the environment are not so harsh. I do admit I get comfortable and when change hits, especially big change, I flounder. That I think comes with the territory of being a Taurus. (smile)
LOVED reading your words. You are such a Beacon of Light and especially lately for me, who is struggling (that peace I spoke of has temporarily evaporated) your presence in my life is such a comfort. Bless you, dear friend. xo

Oh I have a load more eye openers when you are ready Amy.. Loads my friend.. but I do not wish to overwhelm you 😀 it all takes a lot of digesting… Including our Starseed bothers and sisters, along with our DNA creators.. 🙂 and more… But all in good time… ❤ it is overwhelming all of it when you get to grips with the reality from the Illusion.. but once i had centred myself to really absorb the truth of it all.. In a way it always brought great peace.. Because WE dear Amy are much bigger than ever we thought, we just have forgotten HOW to create our world around us in beauty and peace, because we are manipulated with the programming, the media, the films the mobiles, the disease, its an agenda which is told within the The Georgia Guidestones… I am sure you have heard of them…
But when you discover who you are… Where you are from.. and what inner powers we have forgotten to use… We are magnificent Beings of Light.. Capable of transformation, but we have to do so from Within… which is why we so need to let go of fear and the projected reality we are subjected too..
Which again dear Amy is why you and I are so contented and at peace when we are joined in love and harmony via Nature's Balm…
So keep focusing on your Inner Light, and Love of Mother, and all will be well in your world… We Create what we think… ❤ Hugs my friend

If you saw the books I have in my library, you will then know I know more then what I talk about here, Sue. (smile) However, you seem to be more informed then I and look to you as a guide for me to learn more. Thank you. Yes we are magnificent Beings of Light yet within the last few years on account of what has transpired in my personal life and the chaos and horror I am witnessing in this world, I’ve lost sight of what I do know. It’s not hard to do so when we are constantly bombarded with fear propaganda again and again. I do what I do for a reason ….. I create my world and I stay there. I honestly could wring hubby’s neck sometimes when he insists on watching the news in my presence, even though he knows how negatively it effects me. I’ve asked again and again for him to get away from the news but I am not able to do what he needs to do.
Today I plan on going out with my camera to gain my zone. And stay there. This constant “grey” that insists on sticking around yes does effect the mind and it is lousy light to photograph in. Despite that, I will be with my camera. When I was out filling the bird feeders this morning, I realized there is a lot more ambient light then I thought. So I go knowing Mother has Gifts waiting for me. Bless art you, dear friend. May your day be truly spectacular!! xoxoxo

Amy found my longer reply.. lol so will add it again… Bet you are sick of me talking today LOL.. But here it is and the link again..
I know, here in the UK the weather is grey, wet and dismal for many days in succession here .. It really can affect us and I see why so many suffer from the SAD syndrome.. The SUN breathes Life into us..
Also being a Taurean too Amy we are Earth connected.. Your peace will return it all part of our shifting our awareness, gathering in the TRUTH of EVERYTHING, which is often not always given by the powers that be..
Having studied various things since the 80’s I have had to widen my scope of thinking ‘Outside’ the normal boxes we are all often locked into via our educational systems and information programming of what we should and should not believe..
I have always been an investigator as I know you have and so I hope as you delve deeper into Mother she will open you up to new paradigms of thinking and perceptions..
The video that came in was this one Vital Discoveries That Help Us Discover Who We Really Are | Gregg Braden it is an old video interview its long nearly an hour long, It was done in 2011.. But he posted it in his channel only yesterday.. I hope it sets you off also on a quest to discover further the Truth.. 🙂

The SUN …. I’ve seen the rays of multicolored light that stream earthward, Sue. I have a way of looking at the Sun so as not to harm my eyes. I FEEL those rays. When the warmer weather is here, I feel and look 20 years younger compared to that in winter. My cats as well are effected so much by the sun. Their symptoms flare up during the Winter. Most if not all of our past cats have died in the colder months. That is something to think about in of itself.
For years I read voraciously and soaked up all I read. Then one day it was as though I was ready to walk out what I learned. I’ve been outside that box for a LONG time and refuse to be intimidated in any way to jump back into it. Mother is my source of Direction. The SUN is life itself. And yes I miss the sun when all is cloudy and grey. A sun light is a poor substitution.
I’m just now getting the final things together in order to get out of here. I know I was meant to go where I am today. I am depending on Mother Herself to open my mind and my eyes even more to Truth today and in the future. In order to do that, I have to be in my zone. Only She I believe. Pushing aside the agenda that is comprised of in today’s world, I refuse to allow fear to bring me down. I know there is a purpose and a reason why those of us elected to be here are here. I know without doubt I am walking my purpose. Years ago I was directed to set my blog up as it is today. At the time I really had no understanding as to why. Today however is a different story … I now know why.

We cut down each other using words as our blades – this is a brilliant line, Sue, and sadly very true. This poem makes a lot of sense and it is not only books that remove us from experiencing life, but television and electronic devices too. On the whole, books are the least of the evil distractions and at least provide a lot of good in teaching empathy, compassion and tolerance, if the right books are read.

I am in total agreement there Robbie, So true, TV is one of the worst things in our homes bringing negative energy in.. And so many now addicted to their phones, games, and selfies lol..
Many thanks for reading Robbie, and yes that line is more truer than we realise.. ❤

Sue,I know that perfect moment of walk in Nature, of that peace that doesn’t lie within the pages of a book yet if that book happens to be poetry…you never know the solace it may bring! Your poem does touch those chords dear friend…in tune with those moments we spend with Mother Nature. Love and hugs.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful poem again.

Oh How wonderful to know that Bela.. Love it when the ‘Ripple Effect’ creates waves like that.. 🙂 Thank you for sharing that with me my friend ❤ My Mantra in a way as my words in my gavitar say..
"Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others
As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain.
Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward..
I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together… " 🙂
And we Do…
Love and Hugs my friend.. ❤

Sue, a wonderful and thought-provoking poem and its last stanza is full of hope, light and love! Those ‘perfect moments’ are the epiphanies in our lives … when there is utter clarity and peace in our hearts and minds! Smaller such perfect moments are found throughout our days, if we are just open to them. The first flowers from a wall-flower witnessed in my garden this morning filled my spirit with joy! Wishing you a lovely week ahead, with many such moments … much love xx ❤️

Wonderful Annika… We have some primroses out that brought a similar delight my friend.. And when we each appreciate such moments, and feel the peace and wonder of them, we are sending out our collective love and harmonic vibrations into our Earth Mother.. So each moment contributes, and is never lost to make our world have even more perfect moments.. ❤
Sending love and well wishes Annika.. and Many thanks for your visit today ❤

Hey Sue 😀
A wonderful lyrical beat to your poem, and wisdom within each word. No doubt a poem best read whilst out and about rambling or roaming the wilds. What more could entice us out-doors in search of wide-open spaces and peaceful places: to wander amidst Nature, and in so doing, discover that the perfect moment often finds us.
Interestingly, I don’t recall the poem from 4 years ago but I do recall the photographs, especially Gorse and Catkin, which sounds like the name of a country pub 😀 It’s good to roam and ramble.
Thanks for airing and sharing your fine words Sue. Penned with poignancy and precision as always 😀

Many thanks dear Dewin. I am delighted you enjoyed this revived poem and that the re reading of it brought a refreshed view as if new to you..
Nature invites us all to connect and rediscover our inner sanctum of peace, and this walk is a pleasant circular walk we do quite regular in all weathers and we never tire of the different offerings in abundance of blossoms, flowers, berries, and fungi in the hedgerows ..
Many thanks dear Dewin, for your valued comment my friend..
Hope you are enjoying the Sun between clouds today… And that the wind is not too biting where you are.

A refreshed view, as if brand new, Sue, and wonderful reading it was too. The power of imaginative Nature – whether it be within us or around us – underpins your poetic posts and purposefully propels your pen 😀
Whatever the season, wherever we may be, there’s wonder to be seen in Nature’s diversity.
Dog-walking this afternoon….not to the forest but along the banks of a stream. Despite the windy weather it’ll be a joy 😀
Stay warm and dry, have a great afternoon and evening,

Sometimes we just need to look at the simple things we have in front of our eyes to find peace of mind. Nature is can give us the peace the soul needs. Its landscapes in a sunset, the rain that slips down our face, the trill of a little bird that slipped in the garden or a simple leaf that came off a tree when we walked a park, those little things, has the power to take us An alite of human warmth. Your poem is a song for the positive energy message to reach us through that inexhaustible source that is nature. Good for you Sue.

Mucho amor a tu manera …

Indeed Manuel, thank you for that lovely response to my blog post.. You are correct my friend, Nature is remarkable in many ways, So many small things we take for granted in Nature and I found so many pleasures in those small things.. like a leaf covered in frost on a cold morning, or the colours of the rainbow reflecting in a raindrop hanging from a twig on a shrub within your garden..
So many things to be grateful for..
Thank you my friend, I appreicate the time you have spent reading and commenting here.. I am sorry I have been a while in anwering you, Much love your way..

Love your poetry, sweet Sue. I am sitting here listening to some Spanish guitar music while I type and I feel this sense of peace washing over me as I take in your words and listen to the notes in the background…
Ah, I hope you’ve had a good respite from the tech world. The break was what I needed. It took me awhile, and I wasn’t sure if I’d even return to my blog, but that rest…it helped clarify things I need and want to do. And, I suppose that once you decide to be a “facilitator” of meditation and mindfulness, it’ll never leave you.
Ah well, sending you big hugs and lots of love and kindness. 🤗☮️🤗☮️

I love Spanish guitar and listen often to Estas Tonne, I think he is a fantastic player. And yes thank you I think we all need a break from technology once in a while and I think when we fail to listen Nature has a way of ensuring you take a break.. Which it seems happened again to me over the last few days… But I am so so pleased that you now have a clearer understanding of your goals and what you need to do.. Once you are on this path you are on it for sure.. And no it never leaves you..
I will speak more privately very soon….
Much love your way… ❤ And special HUGS ❤
