Take care all of you. ❤

Dreamwalker's Garden

Dear followers,

Another month has already flown, and its been one of the driest here in England for a long while. We had a water hose-pipe ban in place, as some reservoirs began to dry up,  We had a weekend of none stop much welcome rain this weekend  accompanied by some strong  wind gusts. The rain gave hubby a much deserved rest from carrying watering cans of water two and fro to water our crops in the allotment. He had to go tie up the sweetcorn and my Dahlias have taken a bit of a battering.  But I forgot to take my camera with me to take photos.

One good thing about the dry spell, the weeds have not been growing as prolific as usual. So that has saved my back a little. 🙂

While hubby has been doing two hours of watering early every morning I have been picking…

You’ve no idea how refreshing and uplifting your posts are, I so enjoy getting back to nature. My flowers are e flourishing in the relentless downpours each and everyday for two weeks and the bright sun that refuses to be outdone. I don’t know what this weather is telling us . California is on fire while other states are drowning. Time will tell. Take care dear Sue,I wish you joy and happiness. ♥️🌹

Hi dearest Holly, so pleased you enjoy my gardening posts.. Yes the world is topsy turvy right now and I think for some time to come..
I want to say much on this subject, but something keeps holding me back.. I created a long post over the weekend to post on my Sanctuary then put it in drafts.. toying with it.. So trusting my gut right now. And need nature and all her wisdom.
The fires are terrible. as are the floods and droughts across the world.. Nature IS telling us something, but most are too deaf and blind to see it..
Glad your garden flowers are flourishing.. We all need the rain, and England usually has more than its share, but I can honestly say I missed it. and was so very thankful when it rained for 48 hours solid this weekend. 😀
Love and Blessings dearest Holly.. take care also. ❤

Hard work is rewarded in one way or another and by the sound look of it your gardens are doing very well. So happy you received the badly needed rain.
Do take precautions against overdoing the hard work necessary to maintain it.
I know first hand what happens and it’s not fun. Love to you and hubby, Eddie

Thank you kindly dearest Eddie… Indeed as one gardener to another we both know the hard work it takes to maintain our gardens and crops.. We pace ourselves, and go early in the mornings to water before the heat gets to us..
The rain was badly needed.. But we have had no more since and not looking like any this week to come..
So looks like our routine will be kept going a while longer.. ❤
Wishing you a great weekend Eddie..
      Take care..
      Sue 🙂 ❤

It sounds like you have had a dry spell like we have with one bout of rain. Gaia has always hypnotized me into deep thinking and that is where my most profound thinking has been. Nice to see you gracing your blog once again. Remember the heart has no fences. Be well.

Thank you Mac, yes lots of hard work has gone into the plot over the years and this year extra watering, but have been compensated by less weeds growing
Gracias Mac, sí, se ha invertido mucho trabajo duro en la trama a lo largo de los años y este año ha sido más riego, pero ha sido compensado por el crecimiento de menos malezas

    Hi Sue! 🙂 ❤

    Yes the rain was welcome!

My friend in Sweden has told me how bad things are there, they had to slaughter their farm animals as there was no food for them, but we are not far behind!

Let's hope this next heatwave doesn't last as long!!! 😦

There are a lot of stupid people here though: Fires have been deliberately started, then fire crews have had to have Police protection from gangs!

    This is INSANE!!! 😮

One farmer lost £100,000 worth of wheat which we badly need after idiots started a fire.

This could end his business! 😦

All we can do is pray for rain… 😦

    Love and hugs!

    Prenin.

Hi dear Prenin, yes lots of stupidity around all over the earth. What they do not realise is the knock on effect it will have eventually to food prices for everyone.
Good to know you are ok and yes enjoy the cooler interlude, its set to soar again tomorrow.. ❤ Big Hugs back ❤

Love your posts, Sue. They are always uplifting. We have rain in my area and lots of it. Some folks are experiencing severe flooding. Seems it’s feast or famine. Stay safe and drink a lot of water while out in the heat. xoxo

Nice you’ve got some garden time, even if it does mean lugging water. We have been blessed with an inordinately wet year so far, which the earth always needs. But. It has meant massive tree pruning, which involves hauling away limbs, etc – and I’m not as young as I used to be whilst climbing trees with tools hanging from my belt! Luckily, Chris is usually here to spot me, and always willing to do whatever. I’m the one who wants to make the cuts, but he does what needs be from the ground with a pole saw and pole pruners. So we’ve been at it, for sure. And yes, everything grows, including weeds. I do mulch heavily with macadamia nut husks, but weeds are persistent, regardless. Less, but.

Wishing you, as ever, all the best in your endeavors. Lovely to see progress on your end of the pond, lovely photos, too! Sending you big hugs and love from the land of live volcanoes. 🌺💜🎏💓🌈🌋

Amazing! Your garden looks fabulous. I can taste the beans…. yum! We have the tiniest garden, but it is planted to the brim. Our Milkweed is now 3 years old, and has babies. The best, though, is that the Monarchs have found it. We planted it for them. We’re very happy!

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
