A Weekend in Healing Earth

Hello  my lovely friends.. This is the time of year that I spend more of my time getting my fingernails dirty in our Earth Mothers rich soil.  Now the milder and better weather is here, I am to be found more in my Allotments than I am here within the blogsphere of WordPress..

Peacock butterfly in our allotments

So I hope you will all have patience if I take more time visiting or replying to your most welcome comments..

To see what we have been doing the last couple of days.. There are some pictures within my  Garden Blog Link

Have a Wonderful Sunday and a Beautiful Week

~Sue~

You’re so not alone, Sue. It seems we lose a lot of bloggers during planting season. Enjoy it all. ❤️ 💛 💚

I’m so glad you are finally able to get out there. Still too wet here but starting to dry out. Maybe in the next few days. Do not trust the ground under us right now as so much is unstable. I just want to see the sun! Enjoy! 🙂 Giant hugs. M

Wow yes and lots of milk weed for the Monarchs. I don’t have any but some of my friends with large gardens plant them. I love that you plant so much! Wow what a paradise you have there! 🙂

I love the pics of your garden. It’s similar to what my son wants to do on the farm since he’s over there daily (when I’m not there) helping out in the a.m. I love things (like the milkweed) that draws other things from nature. I hope to get my bird feeders back up soon. 😉 love and hugs.

I’m so glad you take this time for yourself – and for the Earth. 🙂 That peacock butterfly is beautiful and butterflies themselves are such symbolic creatures: metamorphosis, good change, messages from beyond, and so much more. Your garden plot looks gorgeous! I bet you can plant enough food for a good chunk of winter. That’s so exciting! And you live near there? What will you plant? Can’t wait to see. 🙂
Have fun! Sending big hugs! xo

Wowow!! A veritable haven of good-for-you veggies! I love it! I hope your cabbages do well. I tried to grow them once, but they don’t particularly like the climate where we live…they get holey. Hehe. And all the rest…mmm…kale soup, sprouts on sandwiches, sweetcorn is imprinted in my DNA, I think, and I’ll have to try some parsnips sometime. YUM!!

Sue, I wish I could really appreciate how much you love the soil and getting your hands dirty, but I am just not into gardening at all. That said, I love a beautiful garden and I watch all the gardening programmes! I’m like that with cooking too – watching all the cooking programmes, I mean, not getting dirty – hahaha. I guess it takes all sorts, huh? Anyway, the point of my message is: relax, enjoy and connect with nature- such a healing thing to do. And when you have the time, it would be lovely to hear how healing it all was. Hugs + xxx

But that is just as good Marie.. for while there are gardeners.. There also have to be those who appreciate what is in the garden.. 🙂 And loving seeing how all things grow and how a recipe is blended and cooked.. means that when you get to sit in a garden or eat a delicious cake you know what effort has gone into its creation. Appreciation comes in all forms dear Marie..
And I really appreciate this visit from your good self.. Lovely to see you, and Love and Blessings.. I am well relaxed.. Love and hugs xxx ❤

Sue, it’s so important to take you time away from the internet. I learned that this winter. Despite dealing with health problems, I was the calmest I’ve been in a few years. We need to disconnect. For me, it was half an hour each day outside playing with my dogs. I realized my blog buddies would be there when I get back online.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love...
