So this is what I have been busy creating over the past few weeks, I have been busy Knitting some gifts.. I finished the Shawl .
In-Over- Through-Off!
And also I have started to knit something for myself.. I hope I will have finished for Christmas a gift to myself.
And Remember we all of are creating with our Threads of Life every day as we go Into our day, we may have to Overcome many obstacles as we go through our life’s lessons.. One day we are all of us getting Off this Planet, So Weave your Life’s Blankets well.. Every stitch Counts!
Weaving
We weave the threads in our Tapestry
With colours we mingle and blend
Creating a picture, that mystery of Life,
That we dream will never end.
In and over obstacles, weaving on the loom
Threads of memories of spangled Stars
Emotions Tides of silver Moon
Flying back in time we speed
Embracing Light from darkened minds
A memory of long ago when all was right
When we All held Light
Now as the loom of life we spin
We always fight, we want to win
As in and out the greed does grab
And turns the cloth to make it drab.
Oh how we weave the web of life
We chose the colours, our joys and strife
Dream weaver I am not, and yet
I walk with hope, and send out prayer
And Dream we do not let the fabric tare
The Balance of the weave must neatly fold
For in our history it is foretold
What we do unto the web we spin
We create our lives therein..

You would know the secret of death.
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life?
The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light.
If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life.
For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.
In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.
Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour.
Is the shepherd not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king?
Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling?
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

“For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?”………… or to step from one room to the next.. Many thanks for adding this quote here Hariod… We are all of us only a thought away from our loved ones who have melted into the sun and they stand by our side as we speak to them.. >3

Again, the synchronicity is out of control, Hariod! Kahlil has pulled me out of the depths so many times, and just this past weekend, I was up until two in the morning, reciting Kahlil by candlelight to calm my spirit. “The Creation” is on of my favorites, as well as “Have Mercy on Me My Soul.”
Whoa….I just saw the date you posted this! I can’t believe you posted this on 11/29/14, which is the EXACT night I was up reciting him, over and over.
I am so sorry to hear you lost your grandson, Hariod. Deep blessings to you and warm hugs, and thank you for reminding me of the magic and preciousness of every moment, especially when we can truly see and feel how the sorrow only makes a glimpse of light all the brighter.
Amazed,

I often wonder too Hariod.. Lots of sleepless nights were when I wrote my poems.. Like Wayne Dyer says in the last post of mine.. We awake inspired in the early hours of the middle of the night.. I Like to think my Spirit sided friends helped bring me the words. As they came unaltered in verse.. as most of my night poetry does.. Even posts have been written this way 😉
Those Little cosy’s only took around 2 hours to make.. Unlike the shawl which 7 rows took one hour to complete.. This was the repeat pattern. Again much is done in the middle of the night when sleep evades 🙂
We can achieve a lot when we set our minds to it.. 🙂 Today is a blogging day.. next week I may be quiet as I knit some more 🙂 ❤ xx

such delicate stitches you have knitted…your stitches as your words weave what one needs to hear 🙂 I love all the white but your gift to yourself is the perfect color(one of my most favorite colors) to weave emotions of love and memories with, it flows like the tides Sue….
I enjoyed your poem, they are timeless you know …and I have had many sleepless nights lately, writing what the whispers say as they seem to engulf my soul …I am given words of hope and the in the same breath they seem to be unraveled, so I weave them again… wonder if it will ever be over…I think not, for how can love be over, it is weaved within infinity….
I hope you are enjoying the energy of the Winter, I am even though today it will be sunny and 78F, I feel the calm, restfulness of Winter’s energy, I think, or perhaps hope this will be the energy to unravel threads that connect me to those memories I am wondering if they were ever real….
I miss talking to you My Kindred Sister….we will have to catch up soon…. 🙂

I have been thinking of you today Maryrose.. And yes will love to catch up with you.. And yes those bonds woven are eternal and infinite.. but they tug at the heart less as we allow the yarn to slip through our fingers less tightly… Allowing like a Kite to drift out over the ocean.. The warp and weft of waves we ride out..
Your temperatures are like the height of our Summer.. 🙂 I am pleased you feel calm . I have been taught a game of patience within my own pattern I chose.. And have really needed to concentrate and unpick many times as I knit the colour of emotions..
Sending you Love..
And Bright Blessings your way.. I hope your family were able to come together at Thanksgiving as they remembered absent ones.. My thoughts have been with you.. xxx Love Sue xxx ❤

Thank you for your warm and truly well wished thoughts Sue, I appreciate them and know that you mean every word. Yes our days in Live Spaces seem a while ago now but it is always nice to remember where we met and how we have evolved in our networking since our migration to WP, a much more superior experience and a friendlier place in which to frequent too 🙂 I have been having fun / am still having fun in G+ but I am going to mix the two of them in 2015 as I want to get back here and enjoy the wonderful friendships that we have made here is WP, so many times do our friends leave and not come back, I don’t want to be in that statistic, definitely not and so I will be returning in the New Year and adding thoughts to your awesome postings too. You always add such great posts, and that is the truth my dear Sue 🙂
Now as you are busy knitting and doing your multiple projects, painting, drawing and counting the many jars of produce from your allotment, I will say have a lovely Thursday and be good, I know you can be naughtier than me sometimes 😉 lol

Looks like you have been busy Sue. I made shawls for my granddaughter before they arrived of course but i warned their mummy’s that if they look close enough they will be able to spot the mistakes in the weave but the overall shawl will always look perfect. Sometimes we just cannot go back and undo what we have weaved not in knitting and not in life either, we just have to move on.

I agree Beverley,, if we leave things too late, sometimes we cannot go back to undo what we did wrong.. The thing is to try and catch things early enough as we create our mistakes.. ( I know I made many and did go back to unpick several times ) teaching me patience and perseverance.. But you are Sooooo right in saying in life we need to move on from it when we have made a mistake… I so so agree….

Dearest Eddie.. I thank you for always leaving me with your own wonderful woven words of encouragement.. I am a believer we can each turn our hands to anything.. And not all first attempts are successful.. But with most things in life.. We keep trying and eventually we will over come.. So too in life.. we have to over come the obstacles put before us. if they keep cropping up, then it means we still have yet to master them.. Once we overcome them.. we then move on..
When I first started to knit some years ago.. It would take many months to complete one item.. And even on the items I now knit.. sometimes its necessary to go back and unpick where I went wrong… Teaching me patience and perseverance .. Then upon completion, as with our lives, we can look back and be satisfied with all we have achieved..
Many Blessings Eddie..

Lovely metaphor…Life as Weaver.
So apt, as everything in life is so much about weaving and every day and every move counts…the work we do and the people we interact, we need to weave their thoughts. Weaving the multiple threads of thoughts is the essence of meaningful engagement in working and living.

You understand perfectly Nihar… Long may our fabric be woven full of colour as our threads intermingle to create the patterns of behaviour we wish to share… Much Gratitude my friend .. There are many threads now upon the loom of Hope, Love, and Kindness… our threads are strong as we weave over the threads of Anger, Hate and despair.. And together we shall create our blankets of Enlightenment..

Gratitude is the best Attitude…yes, like the threads and its colour, our behaviors get developed based on what we hear, talk and read…it is a dynamic process like a piece of fabric coming out of streams of threads..hope is the force of life and love is the essence of life and kindness is something we should all possess. It is always better to keep the defective threads of anger and hate out of the fabric…but that is how we are made of a combination of both…good and bad…we have to fight the evil out of us.

Correct Nihar.. without the Negative threads we could not weave the positive ones.. each has to be within Balance within this fabric we call duality.. Balance is the key.. as we overcome our own negative Warp .. the Weft are the threads we interweave overcoming the Warped often negative views and actions of others 🙂 … Weaving has always described life to me
Many thanks again for sharing your most welcome thoughts Nihar

Dear Jack.. I so thank you for your visits and your special attention to my poem… I thought back to when I wrote this poem, and I spoke of the Moon and the emotional tides.. The moon being an influence upon our ebbs and flows of emotions.. The spangled stars from whence our journey started, and the darkened minds of others who we have with our ‘Light’ come to help clear… The memory of long ago, when we were all held in light before our birth.. Yet now on the Loom of life, we spin and toil.. Many wishing always to be right- To win.. and fight.. Greed grasping ever tighter as it drains the colour from our lives making the fabric drab.. Those of us who walk with hope and choose ‘Colour’ within our lives are keeping the fabric from tearing apart for we are told what we weave and do unto other is what we will create.. So we spin.. As we weave my friend..
Blessings _/\_ Sue

I was wanting to answer all the back- log on my PC and hurried through your poem.
Wanting is a disadvantage and not giving proper attention to the president.
How much better if I had been patient and waited answering next day.
This is a lesson to me to be patient, pay attention to the now, do it once, do it right.
It actually was for the best, I now have even deeper understanding from your kind explanation._/\_

Knitting is yet another dimension of your creativity Sue. It is so important to have diverse interests as it opens up our minds to view situations. And your words “So Weave your Life’s Blankets well. Every stitch Counts” are a great reminder.
At the end of the day we need to take stock of our good deeds and of the not so good ones too. This will help us to to prepare our schedule for the next day.
Thank you and you have a lovely week. 🙂

Thank you Dilip.. yes my Grandmother got me into Knitting and you are so correct.. each stitch-deed we do either good or bad, all goes into creating our blanket of life.. I hope as we journey through life we weave in Unity for at the end of the day.. We all of us live under one Big Blanket.. That of our Creator within our Home Mother Earth.. May we always wrap each other up with warm thoughts my friend _/\_

I love these baby outfits, dear Sue… Are you planning to give out them for Christmas… A great job, indeed … I congratulate you…. Plus your poem is beautiful… I particularly love these verses:
We weave the threads in our Tapestry
With colours we mingle and blend
Creating a picture, that mystery of Life,
That we dream will never end.
Beautiful metaphors over here… Thanks for sharing and all the very best to you. Aquileana 😛

HoooOOOOooooWWWWwwwLLLLLoooooooo Sue 🙂 Cold enough here not to need to stay on icy Europa for long! I love your knitting, it’s lovely… perhaps you could knit Wolfie some cute little paw warmers too! Very clever the way you wove your message to us into the knitting theme, and that’s a great poem, my friend of many skills 🙂 Ok…been sitting at the laptop for all of about 10 min’s lol and now i’m frozen again so back downstairs for yet another cuppa! Of course all these cuppa’s I’m consuming also lead to a roughly equal number of visits to the bathroom lol 😉 so I guess that job will be in order too before I come back for another 10 minutes of shivering online!! Such is the life of an Icy!! Too much info too probably!!! lol but we’re supposed to share on W/P aren’t we?!!!! 😀 xx

Oh let me count the ways that I love this post, Sue! Firstly, the egg cosy’s are adorable 🙂 Secondly, how amazing you took the notion of weaving from the physical act to the written world of poetry. I love your use of metaphor in the poem and your upbeat spirit, I truly do! Many hugs for you for the weekend ahead!

I have often thought of life as a complex, beautiful web–not like a spider’s web, but a multi-dimensional web where the lives of humans, animals, insects, birds, trees, flowers, vegetation, and even rocks cross in trails of existence that weave the universe into the light of the sun, the solemn shining of the moon, the glimmer of stars. The loom that weaves these webs in all of their complexity is hinted at in this poem. Thank you.

Yes we are very Multidimensional Thomas. Each of us intricate parts of the whole of creation within our Consciousness.. Each of our thoughts and Actions create a ripple effect which goes far and wide.. Many thanks for dropping into Dreamwalker’s today Thomas, And yes the poem hints at the Cosmic Web and the Vibration we are all a part of.. 🙂

Beautiful poem and creations! I need to learn to knit – I’m a crocheter – and pleased with the variety of items I’ve learned to ‘reverse engineer’ from knitting patterns 🙂 but there is an intricacy to small needle knitted items I just never can replicate, because the small crochet hooks slip out of my right hand! LOL The shawl reminded me of the knitted table runners/doilies my great-grandmother made – – beautiful!

Loved your visit here this evening Tamrah.. And crocheting I can do, but not as well 🙂 seems we each of us adapt to our own suited skills.. And well done you if you can adapt from a knitting pattern Brilliant.. 🙂 And don’t you just love some of those doilies, I still have one handed down from my Gran.. x

I make up my own patterns, not out of creativity, but because I’m not gifted with the ability to ‘follow directions and do as I’m told’ – LOL – 🙂 But my rebellious spirit does come in handy in other ways, so I’ll take what I have! LOL
