Resurrecting a state of BEing

I am the Sky

I am the Sea

I am in all you see

I am the Wind

Within your breath

I am with you even in Death

I am the space between your thoughts

And nothing of me should scare you naught

I am in everything you do

And all I do is Love You.

I AM

ME..

I wrote that poem sometime ago now.. and I often find myself still searching for that BEing within.. Below is what I posted about BEing in 2011…

What is this “Being” inside of me? inside of ALL of us.. What is it that drives us, makes us tick.. I often talk to that ‘Being’ don’t you? as I search inside and question and listen for the answers.

We call ourselves Human BE-ings.. but what does that mean? Many I think have forgotten that “Being” within themselves as we search externally to BE that something else.. We get bombarded with being told who we should aspire to ‘Be’ like, who to follow, how to pray, etc etc.. we are told what we should wear, what to eat, what products to buy.. and our BE-ing has got lost, swamped by all the exterior material diversions of being told how to live our lives….

We get disillusioned and search outside of ourselves for the Guru or saviour to come and make our lives more meaningful as we endeavour to find that missing part that makes us whole..  .. We are never satisfied with our lot, some even change their own appearances as they strive to BE this image of a person that to them is not the one who looks back at them through the mirror.

Do we really Look into that Mirror and Do we really SEE?

We are divided in schools, Higher education , Top/Bottom of the class,Class distinction, Grades- Culture and Creeds.. We judge each other,we condemn those who have differing views… We look down on those who appear of lesser means —   We Label people and we put limits upon ourselves telling ourselves we are not worthy, for society has made us think in terms of possessions and wealth as status symbols..

We become jealous of those whose lives seemed enriched and full, but as we look closer are they enriched? Are they content with that ‘Being’ within? It seems not, for many  too are still searching outside of themselves to find that which makes them Happy.. and all that money and wealth shows that Happiness still cannot be bought…

We think ourselves as separate beings, alone, and yet we are all of us part of the Human Race… We are ALL of us HUMAN BEINGS… Something I think many forget as we race to gather  yet more and more material ‘Things’ around our selves thinking they will BE the Key to happiness…

Happiness is a state of BEING..

Happiness is not found in any-‘Thing’ other than Within Ourselves…

When we look at the I AM when we really Seek that Inner BEING when we truly Love ourselves the inner core-self.. when we come to LOVE ourselves and stop trying to BE something that we are seeking to BE… only then will we find our True BEING..

We are all connected  within that Family of Light

We are ALL BEINGS OF LIGHT ENERGY within this Human Form.

ALL OF US ARE LIGHT BEINGS COME TO EXPERIENCE

..all of us seeking the same thing and all of us forgetting how to connect to that most basic thing..

ONE’s SELF

TO BE- One’s SELF!

We need look no further to make ourselves feel whole and complete, than to

Look WITHIN our BEING.

For instead of seeking to ‘BE’ this or that, Instead of trying to ‘BE’ Wealthy, Wise,,searching to ‘BE’ what ever else you think you need to make you Happy

ALL we have to BE is —LOVE

And to ‘BE’Happy..

  ‘BE’ Wise,…

To ‘BE’ ALL of these things.

Remember that there is nothing you need do except

‘BE’ in the ‘Moment’ of ‘NOW!’..

and ‘BE’ the Best you know how to BE.. Right now!..

And start BEING who YOU choose to BE..

Love and Blessings

Dreamwalker

And one more thought to add to BE-responsible for your thoughts and Actions.. And BE -aware that your thoughts contribute to the creation of either positive or negative outcomes in the world..

So BE-prepared for the outcomes..

Blessings

Sue

That’s a lot of BEing Sue! XD I love your poem and reminders to look within for love and satisfaction. I’ve been remembering to pause, breath and connect with a feeling of spaciousness. aka my Being; the awareness of life beyond thoughts, feelings and experience.

To being love and peace in the world. Blessings, Brad

Great thoughts DW…Yes you are right that we continue to look in all the wrong places for something to fill the void, looking for who we are. We have been disillusioned for so long I wonder if many even know what they are looking for. Our BEING awareness has been stripped from us and replaced with mindless drivel. I watch people in shopping centers with carriages piled to over flowing with utter crap for the holidays and it leaves such an empty feeling within. If these people stopped long enough to think about their feelings they too would feel sad.Not only are they disconnected from their selves but they are disconnected from a meaningful life. My mantra is always the same, SIMPLIFY! If we simplify life, take it down to the bare bones, we finally see what holds authentic meaning. The dark ones have distracted everyone from living for so long, many are held captive in the farce. It is time to reconnect and find our ‘beings’ once again…Thanks for sharing these thoughts DW. Always meaningful 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving to you all if you observe it over there. If not just have a happy day…Love and hugs..VK ❤

IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS GUFF

In the beginning there was guff.

And how was it made sense of? Apparently thus …

There was eye thinking eye a loan. But eye was ear too.
And eye beheld ear. And ear hearkened unto eye’s view.

And eye found it ear to eye’s taste, just as eye’s taste too mutually, and so eye to eye
agreed without ever asking should we be moved by this?

Of a certainty we could be moved; there was choice it seemed.

So there was time, but why bother travel? We come across one another all the time,
for it is but a smell world is it not, and fragrant,
not to say flagrant at times in its excess?

Or so eye feel it. And eye feel eye am ear continually.
And behold eye mainly feel good. At least on days when eye feel good.

And it feels there is sense, though whether sense makes sense itself who can say?
Or does any sense only co-merge with eye?

Eye sense of course that eye may make sense, but how does sense make eye?

Despite this uncertaincy, and that the likelihood of choice’s actuality remaining
questionable, in quest of some comfort eye hold in mind two fundamental rubrics
[in addition to adopting the conventional illusion of (I)dentity]:

    1. I shall dwell in the house of guff forever;

    and

    2. I shall try never to underestimate the power of guff.

More than wonderful, Sue, words that should be shouted from the rooftops. Ergo, as one tiny, minute ‘shout’, may I have your permission to republish this in full for my Thanksgiving day post tomorrow?

(It will be one less for you to read and comment on! 😉 )

I gave this a great deal of thought myself Sue a few months ago. I got up one morning still half asleep, wondered through the house to the kitchen, flicked the kettle on, got my coffee organised, fed the cat, went to the loo and got back to the kitchen seeing something for the first time -there is a zombie within going through life on auto pilot! It led to a month of introversion and a wake up call about who this ME is. We are so complex and complicated and crazy!

Yes we are complex, and I agree at times we can be pretty Crazy too 🙂
But sometimes we just need to take that time out, Step back from who we have BEcome, to discover that we don’t have to BE anything.. other than BE in the Moment.. 🙂

I am loving my NOW moments.. more and More!.. as I know you are…

To Be or not to Be. That is the question.

If Shakespeare had trouble answering the question, what chance us lesser mortals?

All I know is that I will be the best I can for as long as I can – at any cost.

Love and huge hugs my friend! 🙂

I wonder if perhaps much of the problem here is about the concept of ‘becoming’; that is to say a state in which we can ‘be’ is ‘coming’; it never quite arrives and is always just up ahead. We become bound to this constant state of ‘becoming’ and it operates on multiple levels. “I will become satisfied once I can sit down with a cup of tea”; then as we do so we think “I will become at ease once the housework is completed”; then as we achieve this we think “I will become happy once I can go for a walk”; then as we walk . . . (you get the picture). The whole of this ceaseless, conditioned machination runs throughout the day at differing degrees of intensity. It is quite instructive to spend a couple of hours paying exquisite attention to its operation and seeing both the very subtle and more obviously gross manifestations of it. The whole is such a deeply habituated process that the becoming operates more or less in the background of ordinary awareness. And yet it is just this which denies us our very being and our authentic presence in life as it is.

I think Hariod your thoughts are correct.. We spend so much of our time wanting to BEcome this or that… We forget just to BE content within our now..

The best way I can describe just being in the moment, is when I sit outside in Nature, and just observe.. Not to let my mind dwell on any one particular thing, and to just allow myself to blend leaning back on the tree trunk, breathing in deep filling my senses with the senses of the earth..

To merge into the BEing of Oneness may only last a few seconds before a thought will pop in which then has to be refocused upon the moment of Being within Nature.. The Watcher.. the Observer, and yet part of everything..

We are so caught up with BEing the Centre of attention, our Ego’s so full of proving ourselves superior wanting attention..
Our Ego’s denies us the opportunities to Become the BEing we were meant to BE..
We are all learning via our various lessons that it is only through Letting GO.. we then BEgin to find ourselves again..
🙂 Many thanks Hariod for your interaction.. Always love to have conversations with you

I have a chapter on Stillness coming up in my book, something dogs do so well! It is said that the best pictures are in the mind but I think it’s more fundamental than that, more precious than images; that in the mind, in the quiet mind, we can find the most beautiful of places: peace.

A beautiful poem and words of wisdom I went out for the day with a friend of work.
The best thing of going out with a friend is that you can just be yourself without being judged. That’s right that;s what makes live hard By putting labels on people.
Friday is my day of and I spend part of it daydreaming which I find relaxing. The silly thing is that I can’t do it when someone else is home for some reason as
i have the feeling then that I need to do something

Hi Marja.. yes its sad isn’t it that we often put on Masks for others, yet can let ourselves be unreserved with our Best Friends.. I guess it is all about conditioning and expectation, of being taught from a young age how one is supposed to behave.. Wouldn’t it be great though to just go and BE Silly and jump up and down, skip and laugh down the street.. 🙂 I wonder how long before someone would call someone saying two insane Ladies had escaped from some secure unit 😀 haha… Love seeing you Marja… Wishing you a wonderful weekend in NZ.. 🙂

‘Resurrection’ of being is a great way of explaining what happens sometimes with the ego. I think it gets lost in thoughts that hide the true essence.

A lot to think upon in that writing Sue, just what is that being we all possess, sometimes I think its the lifeline or umbilical cord between our Soul and our Spiritual entity, maybe one day that being will be exposed.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
