The Stream of Life~ Rowing Together.

Autumn Golds in my Garden

My how time fly’s when you are having fun.. Autumn and October is here. One month gone since taking early retirement.. And hardly a day goes by without it being Full to brimming as I float along in the stream of Life.. Which led me to think of this nursery rhyme which I would often sing with my Granddaughter.

“Row,Row,Row, your boat gently down the stream,

Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Life is but a Dream.”

English Nursery Rhyme

‘Life is but a Dream!’.. Life is certainly what you make it. So, we who try to work in the ‘Light’ as the power’s that be try to turn out our lights with warmongering and other evil doings.. Let us flip on our  light switches and row our own boats  in the flow of life, creating our own Dreams..  Merrily, Merrily as we go!..

My recent post Planting a Seed~ A Thought touched on how we manifest and how we need to reprogram ourselves to think differently about the world.  I was so pleased as I travelled around WP how many others are tapping into that ‘Thought Stream’ of projecting balance and harmony while we are being subject to more Fear Tactics…  Jack over at Jacks Jottings, also reminded me with his wonderful post entitled Consider, Consideration how despite our differences we all can and do get on well together I hope you go and read his amazing poem.

Perfection in my Garden

Then there is Barbara over at Me My Magnificent Self on her reposting of the Lunar Eclipse the last being on Sept 28th. Barbara wrote on her post 2014-2015 Lunar Eclipse Cycle… A Time to be Truly Balanced.

Quote:“ It is all going to be OK… humanity is moving on… we are going to be living in each moment, experiencing new potential and have no need to go back and compare our past or project ourself in a limited and probable future anymore.”

Sparrows feeding in the garden

Do the birds worry where their next meal is coming from? Yet each morning they wake and Sing their greetings to the day… Living within the Now.  I too have been living within the Now.. Letting go, moving forward in the stream of where life takes me..  I  am now waking with lighter heart  filled with gratitude as my day is only as full as I wish to make it..

The choice is always ours.. So as we grab an oar and get ready to row let us all pull together in unison as we set sail down the river of enlightenment..

We are All One..

I hope to share later this week how full my days have been..

Sending you my Love and Blessings

~Sue~

A beautiful way to live our lives in full awareness. Loved it the birds birds sing in the morning with no worries of their next meal. Yes we too can only if we can let go.

Thank you Sue for this beautiful message.

Rather than row, row, row… why not simply be in flow with the stream and its gentle current? 🙂

Eric.. why am I not surprised at this wonderful comment 🙂 .. Yes I totally agree.. I guess I said row, as the Song came into my head.. I am sure it was mainly telling me that I am merrily flowing down the stream.. 🙂 Of which we should all just allow.. I so agree dear Eric.. Thank you for that gentle reminder.. 🙂 😀

Oh, this was a nice post Sue!! 🙂 I like that what you said about the river of enlightenment 🙂 I try not to worry so much about the world, cause if I do I just become depressed and then I have no strenght to do good and spread Love and Joy. So I just keep thinking that just like in the fairy tales good will triumph. I dont know if its true, but I have to keep believing, and what is the harm in that? 🙂 It keeps me happy and inspires me to try to make a difference in the world 🙂 Its my way of taking care of myself and a little part of the world at the same time 🙂 ❤

You ARE making a difference within your world.. as you help and give service to others… Sending you a Hug and much love your way. xxx ❤

There is much evil in the world my friend, but we each make it better or worse according to our thoughts and deeds.

I choose to make it better.

    Love and huge hugs!

Yes DW…Autumn is upon us. The leaves in Vermont are going off right now in exquisite colors. Such a beautiful scene on the mountain sides! Time is flying by too fast these days, but we must grab the time to enjoy it all. Soon we will be putting the flower gardens to bed. Hard to believe. Where did summer go? So glad you are enjoying you freedom and I know you will make the very best of it!!! Take care friend and happy Autumn……Much love to you…VK 🙂

Love it when the leaves turn.. and they do it oh so much more beautifully in your part of the world VK… I have been out in the house garden today trimming back shrubs and pulling up spent flowers.. I keep going down to the allotments helping hubby, hoeing is keeping my arm muscles supple Lol.. And spending time doing the hobbies I love.. Life is good!… We just have to focus upon our own immediate world at times I think VK.. If I think too hard about the rest of humanity, it leaves us with a heavy heart.. xxx Hugs DW

Lovely post Sue. We both seem to be pondering that stream of life! I’m glad you are flowing and rowing with the stream while enjoying your retirement. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and love. Life is easier with companions to help row or steer when we are tired. 🙂

It’s wonderful that your days are full. I know so many of my friends who have retired and gone back to work because they were bored. I have a friend who could have retired with a full pension five years ago and she keeps saying next year. Like you my days are full even if I stay in all day and usually I do. I like the thought you expressed the birds don’t worry about their next meal (especially the ones around my house. They are over weight 🙂 )But that doesn’t stop them from signing in the morning. 🙂

🙂 yes the birds here are the same Kim.. LOL.. and looked at me in disgust the other morning when I had not put any food out for them. they kept hopping in among the branches and looking at the kitchen window where I took this photo of them from.. 🙂 But they still sang too lol.. I haven’t stopped yet as I keep finding projects I had put off while working.. And have quite a few more projects yet to start so will be busy yet for a while I think 🙂

A beautiful writing Sue, the beauty in the words was that it provides hope and a future, hopefully a future of peace and harmony leading to spiritual growth.
If your days are full since retirement Sue, it makes one wonder how you coped before with it all.
    Regards
    Ian
