Sometimes we have to step back and relax with family.. Enjoying the Weather and each others company .. This weekend has been all about that.. So if I have not had time to connect with you, I hope you will forgive me.. But Life is such Fun when you allow yourself time to enjoy it..
A friend recommended a book entitles Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph.D., So I looked it up.. Instead of finding the Book, I came across her speaking on TED Talks..
None of us know what is around the next corner.. I hope you will take 20 mins time out of your busy lives to listen to what she has to say.. and then I hope you decide to live in your Right Hand Hemisphere of your Your Brain.. And understand we are All of us Energy Beings.. held within our Human Form..
And Enjoy Life.. Living and each other.. and will see you all Very Soon..

Hey DW….Sharing an observation with love. To apologize is to say you are not free to just be you! The day I stopped apologizing for not being on my blog everyday I was free! Our gifts to others are just that, gifts. There are no strings attached to gifts, just giving and nothing is expected. So Girl, go romp and play and just be you with no strings attached by your conscience….You do what you do so well and you will gift everyone when the spirit moves you….That way it is truly coming from the heart….Happy day 🙂 Love and hugs…VK

We cannot live in this world without boundaries. How brains work the way they do because they are supposed to work that way. Although there are times and places where i have felt the freedom and connection that she speaks about, it was only whilst in deep meditation or in a dream. It also reminds me of those moments when someone we know walks into a room even if we cannot see or hear them, we just feel them and know they are there.

Yes our sixth senses Beverley are connected I am sure within our right Hemisphere brain… Thats why Meditation is so helpful as we let go of our ego self and the problems we carry, to embrace our Dreams…

Research being done in Australia are saying that meditation is not necessarily helpful to someone with FM because we cannot change our alpha brain waves to beta ones or the waves that we experience when we are deep sleep, the kind that nothing wakes you from. I still find meditation relaxing, which is not really it’s purpose either, but that’s good enough for me. xxx

Beverley, just follow your heart, and do what feels good for you.. What works for one does not always work for another and as for Science well, I wish I were a scientist as they keep changing the goal posts as ‘new research’ tells us all the time whats good for us and whats bad, and then 6 months down the line another set of research tells us otherwise LOL…
So if Meditation is making you Feel Good, then as you say, its good enough for You.. 🙂 xxx

Very interesting Sue. I also had the opportunity to work with brain injured and stoke individuals when working in the U.S., so I understand the right and left brain hemisphere interconnection, and the way she explains it is so fascinating. Thanks for sharing this video. It is fascinating to hear her perspective as a scientist

Working with stroke and brain injury Maria must have left a lasting impression…
I know in the past I had the opportunity to give some Body Talk healing to a stroke victim, He felt it helped him as for a time after the healing his speak became more audible and understandable .. It must be so frustrating for those trapped within their minds while their bodies are not responding to their commands..
Yes I found her perspective as a scientist amazing, in that she freely stated we are Energy Beings… Something I have long believed… And we transcend in our transition to the next phase of life after life.. Which many view as Death.. But we merely move into the next dimension 🙂
Lovely comment thanks you Maria xox

Ted is a site I visit but this talk was new to me.
Thank you Sue I thought it extremely interesting, entertaining and insightful.
The way she explained the left and right side of the brain and all our sensory input was logical.
The left hemisphere, the I the ego, that separates us from the world around us.
When we let go of the self we are freed from the wanting ego.
She mentioned Nirvana and her theory is in tune with Buddha’s words.
‘Brain chatter’ she said, “the monkey mind’ we learn to control with meditation.
I liked her phrase ‘ moment of transition.’ that is in line with my thinking ‘we came our of this world and we return back into it’.
Everything being subject to change, death, ‘the moment of transition’ all is passing.
Enjoy your life Sue do not feel compelled to post.
Lao Tzu another wise one the father of Taoism that gave us Ying Yan stressing balance in all things.
Also advised to go with the flow, I interpret that as the flow of ‘Mother Nature’.
He spoke of the ‘Way’, like ‘The Force” in Star Wars.
Enjoy life Dreamwalker, may all those all mighty powers that be, be with you. _/\_

Dear Jack, I am certainly going with the flow.. And yes so much resonated with me within her explanation. In the beginning of her talk she spoke of being Energy Beings.. This is one thing I so feel.. And I agree, we all of us Transcend.. as we go from one state to another.. To me there is no death, Just a transition from one dimension to another.. As we leave behind our Human shell form which we housed to experience the world of matter..
I am enjoying Life Dear Jack.
Many thanks dear friend _/\_

Great post and POV,Sue ! Loved your introduction and your floral composites, hope you are enjoying life and you are still in the pink. It’s nice when we have some short breaks and get out of the daily routine in order to come back refreshed and with our batteries fully charged.
I have just finished watching the video link and I have to admit that it was compelling. You all basically know what happens in the two separate, but connected brain hemispheres which relay messages from one to another. However,Jill Bolte analytically and in a simple way at the same time, referred to the properties and the role of the two hemispheres.Very convincingly she pointed out how important for us is to exploite the possibilities of each one of them and especially the right one..I think I’m mostly living in my right hand hemisphere and right now it’s a joy to comment on your well-thought post.
Great work, dear Sue,a real boost to morale, charmingly accompanied by a delightful handful of composites.Let me leaving your post and finishing my comment while carrying with me all the goodness of life and Mrs Taylor’s advice…
