One World One Tribe.
Have you ever looked into a mirror and thought how unique your are
Did you not consider the marvel of creation to wonder upon that Star?
Have you looked at our Race of people, like busy Ants we rush around?
Did you ever seek that silence, as you sat upon the ground?
Have you ever spoke a prayer with words straight from your heart
Did you ever send out your thoughts to a world we all are apart
Can you see we’re not separate in our quest on seeking Life?
We are all upon a journey, we have our loves and strife.
Can you not see in other faces that yearning to belong?
We all have the same emotions as we embrace our own loves song.
Can you forget about our Colours, our Races and our Creeds?
We are all a Race of ‘Beings’ growing up from our small seeds
Did you not hear that voice which shouts inside your head
To follow Peaceful thoughts, did you listen to what was said?
Did you look into your eyes, look really deep inside
If you did you’d soon discover
We are One World One Tribe

Beautiful, as always! Yes, to everyone of the questions presented above, and yes, the discovery is a huge, but humbling growing experience. When I look at others, what I see is myself looking back at me. I have learned to love me very much, therefore I love others just as deeply and treat them accordingly.

Cindy, I think we often find it at times the hardest thing to love one’s self. learning to do that, opens up the doors to everything else.. Just as you have stated.. If we treat ourselves and others with respect.. For at the end of the day we are all the same, one is no better than any one else. just because they have a seemingly higher ‘Status’ usually peceived by wealth. It matters not what Creed or colour we are, or what type of home they live in, It matters to me what is inside their hearts.. We are all of us Rich, Poor, Wise or Foolish, are upon this journey together, all of us seeking something from within, All of us wanting to be loved, and all of us wanting to belong.. When we understand that none of us are seperate, and we are all of us seeking and searching for the same things upon our journey homeward. Maybe then our world will unite and join together as One, But we each need to look in the reflection of our souls and look deep within our eyes to understand we are ONE WORLD ONE TRIBE!… Many thanks Cindy for your thoughts here 🙂 ~Sue

Thanks Sue. My Drum is made by All One Tribe although its components were fabricated by different people, from the weaving of its cover to the wooden stretcher to the skin taken from animals that died through accident or natural causes. We are indeed One Tribe – pity we don’t understand this truth.
