Share your Gift of LOVE!

Discovery.

This empty space in my heart grieves for something lost.

The tears sting at my eyes, at the weight of my own cross.

I choose to carry this burden, whose weight now holds me down,

I choose to look at the dark clouds and wear my thorns for a crown.

I would like everyone to to like me, but I know that cannot be.

I would like everyone to live and love in harmony.

Along life’s rugged pathway, discoveries you will find

And they sometimes are unpleasant and upset your piece of mind.

~~

To discover of yourself your not all you’d like to be

That like others you can criticize and act most selfishly.

If I admit to my discovery, then maybe I’m halfway there.

Maybe here lies the answer to my now familiar prayer.

The prayer of who am I, and on what road do I tread?

The pathway to discovery is to myself I’m led.

I must learn to look within, and accept my imperfections

And cast away the thorns, that have impeded my directions.

~~

And look to find the Light, which shines out in the dark.

I first must find myself, Yes maybe I’ve made a start.

We are told before we can love others, we first must love our self.

This is all we need, this is our true wealth.

~~

So Fill that empty Space of your Heart with Love,

Dry those tears, break out a smile, share this gift of Love,

Then maybe we will discover  the pathway we tread is right.

So cast away the dark clouds and Look forward to the ‘Light’.
