Green for growth, Blue for calm
Nature holds her very own charm
As you take yourself off for a walk
~~
Nature gives and Nature takes
Balancing ALL as she creates
As you take yourself off for a walk….
My thanks go to Kim over at Silentlyheardonce who is a wonderful poet. Kim asked if I would take part in the 5 day photo challenge.. While I have given up accepting Awards this challenge is an easy one for me to take part in, as I had a set of photo’s I was going to post. But now with this challenge I will add a poem I wrote a few years ago now a couple of verses at a time to each photo.. And bring you the last photo with the complete poem at the end.
The Rules are as follows..
Here are the rules for the “Five Photos Five Stories” challenge: “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge.
(Sporadic posting is alright if you’re unable to post each day.)
My forth nomination is going to anyone of you that feels inclined to take part 🙂

My favourite plant and colour, thank you Sue. In the Orkneys, they would weave the heather stems to make a hanging basket to keep food out of reach of vermin and called it a Cubby. We found one in Spain made of woven cane which we use for garlic Love, David

How fascinating David.. I watched a documentary last evening about India and how they trained vines, roots from certain trees to span rivers,, some taking as long as 200 years to make.. Each generation teaching the next… And how even how they have withstood the floods.. Amazing process .. ❤ As is the baskets 🙂

How wonderful, love the name and had a school pal with the same name too.. I have a small patch where my Buddha is which we gravelled the topsoil on my fairy garden lol.. I planted several small plants there which seem to like it.. but the trick is to keep them trimmed so they do not then grow too wiry and large.. I shall trim back in November which will encourage flower next year x

My poor plants have been in pots for over two years. They need care. Maybe next week. I didn’t know they needed trimming. Thanks for the information.

You know me too well, my friend, and we have never met. 🙂 I am doing the best I can but it is mainly up to me to do the packing and downsizing. My roommate works and commutes and is quite tired most of the time. (She is a cancer survivor) So, I am doing some every day and just trying to get my sleep. I do have a slight case of Shingles, unfortunately, because of everything but am treating them so I think it will be ok. I will have plenty of help moving. I will update you when I can. Take care. xoxo

Dear Beautiful Grace.. Yes finding ‘Balance’ within nature is a powerful experience, and when we atune deeper within the realms of natures natural healing process we see how easily she helps de-tress us and helps us focus upon the inner self.. Which I know you have also been doing of late dear Grace.. Sending healing whispers your way my friend ❤

Many thanks Dalo.. Yes storms are often necessary as they churn up what often lays deep, and they can often sweep away the debris of that which has decayed or become broken.. But after many a storm the air is cleared, and rainbows appear.. and life once again renews with new shoots to grow where the old once were…
So too in life we have our storms and all is in perfect balance.. its just that perhaps we need reminding how out of balance we were to begin with 🙂
Blessing my friend… Its always so nice to have you here 🙂
