Bound By the Cord.

When all the trees have been cut down,
when all the animals have been hunted,
when all the waters are polluted,
when all the air is unsafe to breathe,
only then will you discover you cannot eat money.
~ Cree Prophecy ~

I wrote in my journal the other day these words… I was thinking about the Earth and how in such a short space of time we seem to have reeked havoc upon her back, As we have plundered her resources and in the process have managed to make extinct so many of her species she took thousands of years to perfect. And I wondered how long before we annihilate ourselves as we continue along the path. I was reminded of a Native American Quote above..

These are my thoughts.

Bound by the Cord Of Living Energy

Healing Grid of thoughts

Earth is a wondrous place

Her gifts an endless dance

We breathe as one

We Dream as One

We give thanks for all your sacrifices

Your endless bounty and beauty

May we forever dance together

As we walk and contemplate our intentions

Autumn Beauty

Changes are in the air and beneath our feet

Our conscious flow of energy entwines us both

I honour our sacred connectedness

Let us nurture and care for all of creation

Your love is felt from the source of Light

Sunset Beauty

Help ground us to your heart

Allow our vision to expand with the Universe

For we are the rocks, the flowers, the rain.

Wondrous Water

Our awareness awakens in the New Dawn

As our ancestors blood mingles in your veins

We are Kindred souls within the Matrix

Bound by the cord of living Energy.

Blessed Be…

This morning as I looked out in nature… rabbits and squirrels running through the wood… a wood pigeon foraging… blue tits chasing each other… how everything is interconnected.

Gaia is the sweet mother Earth and gives freely of her bounty, yet we find more and different ways to abuse and poison her out of sheer greed! 😦

I try to stay in balance, but in our modern society that is not easy! 😦

Love and hugs my friend! 🙂

I absolutely loved the last image Sue! The poem was beautiful and a lovely prayer of gratitude to Earth and at the same time a reminder to us that we are…as long as we live on this planet responsible for her well being.
The quote so eloquently and bluntly tells us as it is!

As you will know Sue we live in a special place, but then any place we live would be special, in particular of course this revolving globe we call Earth and also home. We are especially blessed as a young red squirrel has decided to join us and taken up residence on our roof next to the chimney! Just the same size as our Siamese so we try to keep them apart!! All blessings with Love, David

    Very nice poem, Sue.
I found myself thinking the other day, as I was driving, how much we have changed literally over the last one hundred years or so, and how much we have changed our surroundings, and just how much of that change has been at the expense of the Earth. I sometimes wonder how these thoughts spring to mind, just out of the blue. It has to be part of that inter-connectedness. It must be.

Yes, I think we are often connected via that matrix of energy as we link all be it subconsciously to the thought streams … I once read that inventions were created often at the same time whereby people put in patents of inventions at similar times,. Many saying others had stolen their ideas… But in fact they had all tapped into that mainstream of inventiveness together creating similar things at the same time 🙂 Thank you for adding your thoughts Tom

rain…chill in the air and I watched the deer eat and the birds chase each other
in between eating….the rain seem to wash away anything that was not necessary
to be in the wooded areas my window faces…tree spirits were more visible today
enjoying the sound of the rain I think..it was as if it was a constant state of quiet…
I wonder what will be no longer there tomorrow for I feel something has left…changed…
Your poem is beautiful…as the quote is perfect for this moment in time…maybe enough will hear it before its too late…
Thank you for sharing Sue….I enjoy being a strand in the bond with the cord of living energy within this journey with You….
    Take care…You Matter Sue…

Your senses are in tune Maryrose… The rain here has been torrential at times and over this last week never stopped for over 72 hours.. But it cleanses and the ground and the underground water tables need it… May our strands of cords forever grow ever stronger as we unite together in the living energy maryrose… Bless you for your presence here and sharing your thoughts 🙂 Hugs Sue

Sue, I love that Cree saying. I have a book of Native American quotes that I refer to more than any other. Their connection to the earth reminds me not to miss a moment of the beauty out there. I woke this morning to the rain and smiled at the thought that soon my neighbors who are on well may have water again.

The Native American Quote Sue, Yes I often think of these very words . So very wise and true words. I heard the rain pouring down last night so heavy at times. This Morning was lovely , not cold and the birds were singing in my garden. Such a Joy.
Hope you are having a lovely week Sue.

Yes Deb we seem hell bend on destroying most things we touch,we have to take responsibility for our own actions and try to educate others that Nature is not separate and what we ultimately do to it, we are creating so many problems for the future.. Love to you my friend.. 🙂

Tibetans, Druids and Native American (First People) are cultures that nurture the skills of the dreamwalker. In more modern settings we might recognize dreamwalkers as psychic, channels and mediums. Silvia Brown, James Van Praagh and Edger Cayce are famous examples of this skill.

Thank you Fredrick, I totally agree, being a medium myself, and using our abilities which are held within each of us to channel and tune into our psychic senses each are born with. I chose the name Dreamwalker for such a reason.. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
