Even though the path is dark,

 I carry my Light for you are within my heart.

You gave me strength to carry on

You’re in my heart we are as one.

You may now be far from my sight

But for you my love. I hold my light.

I see your face though misty tears

Of promises of future years

The Forest of the path I tread

No longer holds the fear of dread
