Ruthie Mae reminds me of Fox.
I especially like this drawing. The expression looks like he (or she) is carefully observing or listening.

Oh, my friend, it was my pleasure, for sure!
I hope your vacation away, or time to yourself, is good. I am sort of settling in. Not so much like home yet, and I miss my wooded yard a lot. I am close to my son though, and surely not isolated! I don’t know where I’ll end up staying in this world, for the years I have left, but I doubt it is here.
Who knows though. When you have to move like I have in life, being settled isn’t something I’m used to. I guess that is why I take to nature and see what there is around me. I am grounded by what I see and hear.
I heard an Owl last night. It sure was making a big todo! Another animal seemed present too, but I don’t know what.
I haven’t seen a fox, but the feathered ones are many here.
Hope to communicate more this year, Sue. I’m sorry I’ve been off the grid so much. I’m still tired, and pain still present almost all the time. Thank you for your true blessings. I always appreciate that.

Michelle, Oh I am so pleased you are settling in, and your Son is close by.. Lucky you in hearing the owl.. I haven’t been away, away.. Just off line from WordPress, and emails in general.. As I was just getting too stressed with everything.. My Day job peeked to a point of really being a stressful place coping with challenging behaviours.. And I was letting the worlds problems drag me down…. So the Silent retreat from it all has done me good.. I took time out to paint a little and read a good novel… 🙂 So feeling much brighter.. I hope you can find some respite soon for your pain Michelle, Its horrible that you suffer so… Sending you my thoughts and I hope you soon find the energy to communicate more this year.. that would be great.. 🙂 And thank Ruthie for her woofy love… Hugs Sue xox
