Thank You! to you ALL for your Drum Beats

My Dear beautiful friends,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your wonderful contributions recently that you have made to my posts. Your comments have brought me so much love.. They have brought both smiles and tears of joy in your understandings of how our Journeys are bringing us together right now..

I was going to post I had scheduled but it can now wait for a little while longer. I  just have to share the last comment upon my post  February Awakening Challenge about finding Joy..

You all have added Joy to my life.. I have not been visiting as often to your posts as I have took time out to nurture.. But I hope in the next few days pay all of you who have left me your love a visit to catch up with what you have been doing all week..

A dear blogging friend Nadira left me such a wonderful comment that it encompassed all of you, I feel I have to share her words with you.  For we are all upon this path of enlightenment to find ourselves.. And so many of us are now awakening to this process and joining our hearts and minds in Unity of thought

I thank all of you for the energies you bring, and leave you with Nadira’s words

Thank you all for your Drum Beats

Thank you all for your Drum Beats

“Here’s me adding a beat to your drum 🙂 I’ve been reading your post on this lazy Sunday morning on my desktop, while the strains of native American music is filling the air from another window open to the You Tube and it has filled this hour with so much peace and love….The comments from others, each remembering the paths of their own awakening…it feels like we’ve all reached a vast open green meadow on the top on a mountain, under blue skies and we’re dancing hand in hand in a large circle of love and empathy. We can see the different trails by which we reached here and remember the sweat and tears and uncertainties that plagued us.But the stones no longer prick the soles of our bare feet, our lungs no longer feel constricted by the effort of the climb; loneliness doesn’t haunt , for we now know that the perception of separation was just that and that had we really listened, we would’ve been able to hear the footsteps of others around us , also plodding along to reach here. Yes, it is important that you write of this open space , so that the others still climbing know that eventually this is where all have to and will reach. What a relief it is to know that our own energies of love can make the miles disappear. Loads of love dear friend :-)”

Thank you Nadiar and to each and Every One of you,

and know each of you are making great strides in bringing Unity and Love into our World..

Love and Blessings

Growing inside and Out

“It’s very important that we re-learn the art of resting and relaxing. Not only does it help prevent the onset of many illnesses that develop through chronic tension and worrying; it allows us to clear our minds, focus, and find creative solutions to problems”

This winter in the UK although so very mild has been one of the wettest on record and I have been very thankful for living on top of hill for a change, although that has its disadvantages when we get  lots of snow.

 Nature too is just as confused as we are. Winter is a time to rest and sleep…  I needed to retreat within the warmth of my inner shell for a time to replenish and nurture.

Reaching up, to be our best

Reaching up, to be our best

It seemed that my climbing rose forgot it was winter and I spied this bud peeking its way out of my evergreens  which it had climbed through it and the ivy.

The day was a rare day, clear skies and sunny which was probably what made me look up as I walked under the arch  of greenery to the green house.

This photo was taken on the 28th January

Reconnecting to my creative self allowed that total absorption to be centred within the moment. Each stitch of Knitting placed with care and attention allowed my thoughts to wander back to the days when my Grandmother would patently sit with me and teach me the basic stitches of knitting.

Each stitch, placed with thought. Each thought forming the shape of our lives.

Each stitch, placed with thought. Each thought forming the shape of our lives.

Something I am now doing with my own little granddaughter, who at the moment just likes winding the wool around the needle as I knit. But I think it important we do not lose these skills and we can produce some wonderful unique garments.. This little set cost me nothing to make, it was using up remnants of wool I had left over. And yes New life within my distant family circle is due in May time..

New Life was also set to the tune of the Moon, another new project I am starting to do as I hope this year to follow the Luna Biodynamic Gardening methods.. My daughter provided me with a beautiful book for Christmas as I had told her my intentions so this is the result. My Gardening Post explains more here

I planted these onion seeds on the 21st January and 10 days later they are all growing fine.

Planting seeds to the Moon Rhythms.

Sweetpeas

Sweetpeas

I also planted my sweet-peas and within 4 days they were starting to show themselves to the light.

I have one more project that will probably be on going now throughout the rest of my Life. Its going slowly, I am not rushing it and I will reveal more on this on a future post.. So keep ‘Tuning’ in.

Life is Miraculous  when you think just how each seed contains within it has the knowledge to grow and mature into the perfect flower or Vegetable or Human Being.

We are All of us Miraculous Beings. Maybe it is time to plant the seeds of our thoughts back into Good Mother Earth… To grow we need the right environment to nurture our Dreams.. I have come to understand within my silence that no matter how many humans try to taint our world.. We are all of us Gardeners.. Planting our thoughts, cultivating those next generations. And it is up to us to nurture the space we grow in..

And as we learn to weed out the excess baggage and plough in the skills and attitudes that help liberate and refine those future generations. To embrace  decisions that consider the consequences of our actions for the well being of our Whole Planet, not just the few upon her.

For a Great Future awaits us.. It is up to each of us to acknowledge and be mindful of our responsibility within it. My seeds responded to the vibration of the Moon and I am sure my encouraging words of Love are helping them flourish.

Spending time back within my thoughts reconnected me back to my Inner Child, those of us who are healers know that Love is the greatest healer of all.

That little girl in me reminded me that in our deepest wounds were the remnants of scars of the longings to be loved. She reminded me of the need to create a space in which to embrace the magic of my own creativity as I  learn how  to Play again and become the child I AM and that I always will be.

Healing Words

Healing Words Poem

Let the Pen flow across the page

Allow it to release all that pent up rage

Form the words as they are born in your mind

Feel the Lightness as you let go and unwind

~~

See the Messages we give to ourselves

Pouring out emotions so long held

Poetry in Motion, Healing at a stroke

As we let go of Anger that we never have spoke

~~

See the patterns that form into words

Voice them on paper, so they can be heard

They say the Pen is Mightier than the Sword

Know their Power, as we cut the cords

~~

Words and Letters may jumble and mix

Once Written out loud they can heal and fix

The long held wounds we hold in our hearts

So take out your Pen- Let the Healing Start!

Our Inner Compass!

Trusting your Inner Compass

 Each of us are unique, each of us has our own sense of ‘Right and Wrong’ and our own way of experiencing that world. While I know that I often look to find answers to life’s Questions by looking outside of myself, absorbing through reading and by asking others their opinions, answers given to us are only their outlook, their view point. And that viewpoint is coloured by their experiences in life,  which may not be mine or yours.

Our world view is coloured by the opinions of others, we are brought up within indoctrinated systems that is teaching us constantly other’s points of view.. We then form our own judgements  on which view to take but are often persuaded by our parental views and those around us within our communities..

 I wonder when are we going to stop looking at other peoples views and step outside our boxes to look at ourselves..

We often pose questions as to WHY? why me, why war, Why are so many  so angry, Why has half the world more than enough while the other half starve?  How can people be so brutal to others?  Why, why why!… We put our questions out there hoping for the answers to return… Yet to  answer many of those  Questions we  each have to look no further than ourselves and look within.

When we realise that we have always had a gateway to that inner pool of knowledge and when we understand that we have access to that part of us which knows exactly that which we need. For each of us holds that ‘Inner Compass’ which points us in the right direction, even if at times we think we have lost our way.. The detour was needed in order for us to take in the view and learn from that experience.

When we realise that when we stop being angry, and stop name calling, pointing fingers, and blaming, when we realise we need  to stop being judgemental, and holding prejudice, And when we stop our family feuds, and petty squabbles…

We then begin to see the answers of why this world is like it is, for the outside world resides within each one of us. And it’s only reflecting back that which we are each giving out.

We all have to step up to the our own personal responsibility to choose which direction we want the World to head in and ask ourselves  “Am I joining in the Anger, Blame game”, or “can I do something positive to help set a new direction?”.

There is Only YOU who can know the how’s and whys of your life. And the deepest Answers are the ones that lie within yourself.. And they are only revealed when you start to Ask yourself those Inner most Questions..

 So….  what is your Inner Compass  telling you?.. and in which Direction is it set?

 I hope you choose a Peaceful Path and not get swept up within the Fear and Anger so many are being trapped in..

I hope it leads you along a peaceful path of self discovery.

Blessings

~Sue~

It’s The Little Things That Count.

A little visitor came by

A little visitor came by today,

to share some food that came his way

He crept up high

As I crept low

I crept closer

As I willed him to turn and say Hello

Hello Mouse

My Camera clicked and he was gone

But his belly was full as his eyes now shone..

So I turned my lens down to the ground

To see what fairies might have found

Tiny Flowers in the Lawn.

How Nature never ceases to amaze

If one take time to lower their gaze.

And open one’s eyes to the ‘Little Things’

That makes a difference, what pleasure it brings.

Tulips

We first need our hearts to open wide

To discover that the secrets lie inside

Taking a closer look inside

And once open for the world to see

You now get the perspective of the Bee

Closer still

And so in life its the ‘Little Things’

Which mean the most, what joy they bring

Its the smile and greeting, a caring thought

A helping hand when things get fraught

It matters not the money in your purse

For you can’t take it with you in your hearse

But the deeds you have done

And the memories you have made

And the Love shared

Is All that is craved.

So plant well all the Little Things in Life

For they are most cherished

Enjoy

Be Nice!

Have a beautiful weekend all of you

Letting Go, and Be Happy!

Letting Go.

I’m going to start with a short story from a book

  [“Called 15 ways to be a Happier You.”.Tia –Chi  Chi Kung]

By Peter Chin Kean Choy.

Quote.

Feeling bad may not have been a conscious choice, But what about feeling bad, about feeling bad?

A businessman came to see me and shared how everything around him had collapsed. He was financially bankrupt, his relationships had broken up, bills and debts flooded his desk. On top of that he was an alcoholic and his health was poor.

As the seconds ticked by, John recounted his miseries again and again. It was like a vicious wheel, everything he thought he shared revolved around the centre of his suffering. As he talked, I pointed to my watch and commented, ‘John, no one could deny you the right to feel that you are in a bad situation. And now…. You were in a bad situation… each moment passing by, you have a choice how to choose to be….now and now… and now, three seconds have just passed by…. how you choose to be now is your choice..

He listened, he took some deep sighs and realised—perhaps for the first time in his life—that he had this freedom of choice. He replied, ‘I think I know what you are saying. It is like compounding interest in the bank. Each moment of negativity can be compounded’.

I responded, ‘You’ve got it John, You could feel bad about having felt bad and the next moment, you could feel bad about feeling bad about having felt bad, about having felt bad…Or  you could actually release that old pattern and start anew this moment… and this moment.. and this moment now.”

End Quote.

There is a John inside all of us who at one time or another gives up hope and feels really down. If you are in such a situation now, gently accept how you are feeling. You did the best you could. Your bad feelings of feeling bad about feeling bad were simply your way of coping with the situation and you want the situation to get better.

Here is a visualization for you to do..

You are your own inner gardener with the ability to compost your negative thoughts and feelings,

Visualise that you are sitting in a beautiful garden.. See all the beauties of this garden See all your blessings and give thanks for them Then..See to one side of you beautiful garden in the corner some magic compost bins.

They are always here to use, day or night. All you have to do is your letting go exercise.. Imagine you are letting go of any negative feelings by placing them gently into your compost bin. Know that over a period of time your bin will turn all those ugly thoughts and transform them into a rich ‘black Gold’ to once again enrich and make your garden grow. Knowing that through your experience you will be stronger. Trust that once you have put the negative thought into the bin it will be dealt with.

If you are not a gardener.. Then why not visualise a huge Angel hand.. and you place all  your worries and negative thoughts into Gods hands. And it will be taken and dispersed of as the angels feel fit.

H.A.P.P.Y.

H.A.P.P.Y.  Me being Happy..

Also clearing out the old and making way for the new.. Recycle all the things you no longer use, give them away or give to charities.. see how good it makes you feel.

Start a garden.. it doesn’t have to be a big one, potted plants, a herb garden. Compost your own vegetable wastes. Feel good about making something grow, And then let that feeling grow inside of you.

Lupins in the pots and along at the end some Dahlias and Gladioli, for cut flowers in the autumn. Behind you can see the rows of garlic which was planted as cloves in October now growing.

Watch a funny film. Laughter is truly a magical medicine. There are many ways of ‘Letting go’.

I am re-learning again to let go of all the feelings and emotions that I have let build, which I know has contributed to letting the ‘stress’ build which I know has made me feel ill.

One of the first Qi Gong Exercises is to find your peaceful happy self by releasing and letting go…..  Even if you do not know how to do Qi Gong.. You all know how to breathe..

Breathe in deeply and evenly and as you breathe out release and let go.. Put all your problems into that bin or into God’s hands and you will soon find how lighter you will feel… I imagine all my problems as grey particles or smoke coming from within as I breathe out. Why not give it a try and see how you can Breathe yourself to a more peaceful and happier you.

Have a Wonderful Weekend

Living in the Moment~ A Short Story

I wrote this in 2011, and was browsing through my Archives,  I needed to read it again to bring me back into my NOW.. and Live in the Only Moment there is..

~~~~~~~~
How long could she shut out the World? To open her eyes would allow the harsh light of day to blind her vision. A vision she no longer wished to see. She had witnessed cruelty beyond measure of Man’s inhumanity to man.
If she kept her eyes closed she could shut the world out. She could stop the constant chatter; the inaudible rabble the world threw out, the constant noise of the ‘woe is me’, ‘the I have not’, ‘the I want’ and ‘it’s mine’
Within the darkness behind her closed eyelids she could create a perfect world. A world of love and healing, a world of unity and sharing, a world of giving and receiving. A selfless world of Peace.
She wished this throbbing in her temples would cease, in fact it was at such times as these she wished she could just vanish completely. But as soon as the thought appeared she vanquished it from her mind, she knew she still had to fulfil her destiny, complete her mission, she knew her ‘Time’ was not yet.
‘Time’ ….everything had its Season, a time to sow a time to reap, ………
Harvest Time, ….. Now there she could focus, she knew all about harvest time… (We plough the seeds and scatter the good seed on the land) arrgh she thought what seeds indeed did we sow. Again she was a child, running, carefree, laughing.. Oh to have that feeling back, to wake each day with that Joy and spring in her step. To view the world with untainted innocence.
She wished Time would open up its ticking hands just to hold her still. To stop her thoughts from racing off into the future or slipping into the past. She wished Time would hold her still within that ‘moment’.
She laughed out loud, the sound echoed within the tunnel of her thoughts like an alien train. She’d had many ‘moments’ and each of them had been a ‘Now moment’ but she had let them All slip away as she looked over her shoulder as the shadows of the past crept up. Or she chased them into her future wishing them to come.
The salty brine oozed from beneath her eyelids, but she still refused to open them. Where did all those ‘Now’ moments go? Lost, gathered up in vague recollections.
The Light squeezed a ray of silver under her lids as the salt stung at her eyes.. Her temples throbbed in unison with her heart, pounding now within the cage beneath her breasts. A cage she had placed herself in. The rays of light filtered through her lashes creating prisms of colours that darted in lines she counted them, One,…… two,…….. three………………….
She opened her eyes with a start, the Sun had come out from behind the clouds.. She was back within the ‘Now’.. and a smile once again touched her lips for she realised she could live within the Now Moment any time she wished.. For ALL Moments are Now moments.
She just needed to believe and Live and ‘breathe’.. Every Moment Now….
Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
