Shining Through

This morning I awoke to rain, but this gave me a great excuse to open my box of paints..

Today I used Acrylics and had no idea what I wanted to paint.. I had an angel in mind to start with, then a I kept looking at the butterfly I painted last weekend.. I started with the swirl of bright yellow and just kept going with the flow, adding more swirls and then I saw in my mind a mandala.. It didn’t turn out how my mind had envisioned it.. But the mandala became the butterfly..

The Trees have been taking their fair share of battering’s here in the UK recently with some very stormy weather so I wanted to honour the trees, who listen so patiently to my whispers..

oh mighty brothers that reach up high

Your branches swaying in breeze from sky

Searching for that Perfect Moment.

Trees, the breath of our lungs~ A walk in Nature’s Peace

Carry on searching and you will find

That perfect moment that peace of mind

You’ll find it among all the places you look

None are within the pages of a book

So many species rely upon our Trees ~Lichen on these small branches, and thousands of insects.

While a book can teach you knowledge unbound

The Peace of your heart there is not to be found

Page after page we turn and can read

But the Peace we all seek first comes as a seed

Life -Nature~ a continual cycle of death and rebirth

 

So long do we lie in the depths of the Dark

Forgetting the power from which we all start

A Spark to kindle from the love we all yearn

Ignited with passion as our hearts start to learn

Catkins and Gorse.

An Island we languish alone and afraid

We cut down each other using words as our blades

Doing unto others, we do unto the whole

What we send out we reap back as souls

Gorse~ Everyone of us can show our thorns.

 

So we search and we find what was there all along

We just forgot the Harmony of Singing our Song

In Unity we blend, our voices become One

No longer separate, a choir has begun.

~~

In tune with Nature you’ll flourish and grow

Reaching for Light you spread out and glow

And that ‘Perfect Moment’, that Peace of Mind

It was always inside you, Seek and Find.

 Our Trees, like our hearts have taken a battering over time,

especially in recent months as we have witnessed the horrors of flames.

 But its never too late to rekindle the flame of Love in our Hearts,

as we nurture  and respect each other and Mother Nature. 

You have no idea the Power YOU each hold within your hearts as you send out love into the world.

Keep Sending LOVE!

Do not buy into the Fear being generated, Our thoughts are creating Our Future! 

Have a wonderfully Peaceful Weekend All of you..

Switch Off! And Tune into Self!

I’m not hooked into T.V. soaps with Drama’s surreal

And I try to detach from the Media’s Squeal

I’m not attached at the hip to my Mobile Device

Like some who walk, looking up once or twice

Tranquil Corner of my garden

 

I know too well all the pain some go through

And I’ve added my tears like the rest of you

I’m not helping the world if I wallow in gloom

So instead I create to help my world bloom

Seeds and allotment plan

I plant and I sow and reap what I give

Sharing and caring is how we should live

If we see all the horrors of violence and greed

Maybe it’s because our attention is focused on these

Planted with Love

 

If we planted more Kindness instead of mistrust

And put people first before the possessions we lust

Appreciate the NOW, and Let go of FEAR

Stop judging each other, and hold ALL life dear

Preparing the greenhouse ready for planting

 

Instead we’re conditioned by the Ads and the Apps

To purchase- Things- as in debt more collapse 

A virtual world, we are hooked and controlled

Another statistic, we’re boxed in as we scroll

 

Spring Bulbs opening to the Sun

So if I go missing from time to time

It’s because I’m enjoying this life of mine

So go on now, look up, and switch off your Device

And Embrace your loved ones and start living-Life!

Listening within the Heart of Gaia~ Part Two

A favourite woodland walk

For days the woman was slightly dazed, floating around trying to verbalise her thoughts, yet each time she sat down to write nothing would come.

In the meantime our Earth Mother Gaia was speaking; she blew her thoughts through the creaking of branches that snapped beneath her breath. Her tears fell so hard upon the hilltops, that her storm was given  the name of Storm Desmond   Her tears filled the rivers which broke their banks to touch more lives with her sorrow… It seemed our Earth Mother knew not when to stop her tears as so much fell in one place .She broke bridges, roads and many hearts that day..

But  the Earth Mother’s plan although not clear to many brought our yet more ‘Compassion’ that was so lacking upon this stiff upper lip Island that once had conquered an Empire.. She was teaching us through compassion and showing us how much attachment we put upon all we possess, that within the blink of an eye can be taken.. 

The Woman looked deeper at her Earth Mother as she felt the weight of Gaia’s task.. The woman walked in nature in silence taking note of how the seasons were changing. The wind was so warm for December and spring bulbs were already pushing their way through the earth some already in bloom

Bulbs in my garden last year.. But I have seen daffodils out already in bloom.. So warm Gaia’s breath right now..

 

The woman listened to Gaia and sat in long silent meditations seeking the words that would not come.  She told her friends she needed time to think and would visit them by the magic of technology only to find many were feeling the same as she, as the energies spread out to ripple around the world..

She was amazed at the synchronicities of thought, telling them she would explain her own soon.. Old friends upon the web of magic got in touch, one leaving her a gift of a meditation.. She knew this was not by chance..

So she sat that afternoon and went deeper within the magical visions of the mediation and went to bed that evening feeling fine.. Yet she awoke with a fire that scorched her dry throat, glancing at the clock which said 3:33…  So painful she could hardly swallow. For 3 days she nursed herself with herbs and tinctures knowing her body was now releasing that which had been held within her throat chakra for so long… She coughed and spluttered gasping for breath as her thoughts began to unravel that which had been tangled and strangling her voice like the ‘Yarn’ in the poem  Unravelled Yarn   which had spoke so clearly to her heart a few days prior.. 

The Woman is healing from within and has more to share from her insights given, she knows her journey is joined by many Sisters and Brothers who are also feeling the Shift that is gathering momentum..

And she gives thanks for their hearts in standing by her side..

Soul Seeds of Love

Soul Seeds

The seeds of Truth are cast into the ground

Silently we search until they are found

They lay within the beautiful dark

Awaiting the Light to bring life, that spark

~

As each seed cast into darkness fell

Some grew strong and within the Light did dwell

Others lay deeper, dormant, and adrift

Awaiting their time when the Earth Mother would shift

~

Dormant for centuries, once thought dead

These radiant seeds raised their heads

They rise up holding onto the Light

All sprung from darkness, out of the night

~

Stretching down deep the roots take hold

One by one they surface up from the cold

Bent over and fragile, weak and lame

Finding strength in numbers together they came

~

Taller they grew with the warmth of the spring

Reaching for the Light all in Unison Sing

Adding their colours across all lands

The seeds of Truth Grow in Loving Hands.

Everyone is Looking Outside themselves..

 

Below is part of a post I wrote in 2012, I was searching through my archives today as I re-read the words I had written.  The original  Full post and it’s theme is HERE with more interesting comments ..Below is an edited version of my thoughts as I picked out a few paragraphs..

We are all of us right now looking for something, whether it is peace or our fortunes, we are all of us searching for something,………….

We have all seen events around our world, where anger and bloodshed has spilled out onto the streets in various conflicts which now affect different parts of the world. And we have seen how quickly this can spread…

So those who have been following my blog will also know how much importance I have put into thinking Positive thoughts and putting Positive energy out there, for like a pebble in a pool of water it will spread out through our Collective Consciousness  just the same.. An example of that is how suddenly an event can cause an emotional response within us. Causing Anger, Sadness, Happiness, Elation, etc.

“We have to understand we are all one family.. When one member of one’s family is ill, it has an effect upon the rest of the family..In turn each person’s health is affected by the environment, community, society the whole world.. We all of us get to use our feelings and emotions as we use them to either feel strongly about global issues such as climate changes, famine, poverty and so on..adding our energy of greed, anger, hatred, guilt, sorrow or joy… it all adds to the mix.. Our family is sick, as we see many Nations now falling ill… So too our World is Sick.. she is being poisoned.

If we can change , the world can change..

 

“When we get a virus within our bodies our immune system kicks in to defend it.. We have to understand that we have become the Virus upon this planet.. WE are the ones destroying our environment.. We are the Cancer that is eating away at her..

When we can change our own values of living. And learn that we are ALL of us connected… The more we start and live in love and from our hearts instead of in Fear and anger, we will then start to see a world that works towards harmony and Peace..

It all starts with Self, as we begin to heal ourselves from within.. letting go of those emotions which affect our health and affect our world. We need to let go of Greed, Hate, Power and Control. 

To heal the world we have to see we are the community, we are the society we are the nation.. Once we change the way we think and perceive and behave.. We change the World…”

Everyone is looking outside of themselves for solutions!

May we all find LOVE in our hearts and begin to share it.

The Storm

The Storm

Outside my window the wind does rage

Roaring her might like a lion who is caged 

She pushes with strength against the bars of the trees

Tossing her head in the dance  of the leaves

~

Down comes the rain in torrents she bleeds

As she shouts out her anger she screeches and pleads

To all who will listen and all who will learn

When you mess with nature your fingers get burned

~

Finding her voice she gathers her strength

She spins in her vortex, unwinding her length

Crossing the ocean, whipping up spray

Teaching respect, the Earth Mother Way

~

Like children being scolded her breath as the lash

She gives us a beating to keep to the path

She dishes out medicine we find hard to swallow

Destroying possessions and the greed of tomorrow

~

She’ll teach us with Air, she’ll teach us with flood

She’ll shake us awake and spill of our blood

Her balance upset, unstable she’s become

Mankind will learn, her lessons have begun

All around the world we are now seeing unprecedented storms of gathering magnitude. At the moment we have Abigail  sweeping the UK. The brunt of the storm hitting Scotland. But here in the Midlands the winds have been fierce with branches from trees falling and slates from roofs falling.

The above poem I wrote while listening to the wind as she battered our windows..

How do you view the Future?

This morning I had two little old ladies come knocking on my door.. They cheerfully greeted me, holding out their pamphlet out to me.  We  politely engaged in a religious conversation for 10 minutes. After we exchanged views upon the state of our world and I agreed in the power of prayer..  I took their small pamphlet and they smilingly went to knock upon my neighbours door.

The Pamphlet’s headlines said

“ How do you view the World?”.. Will our World

• Stay the same?
• Get worse?
• Get Better?  

and it’s title fitted into my thoughts perfectly  as I had been wondering how to start a post I had been pondering on during the night. You could say it was ‘Heaven sent’

Because How do we view our world?

What influences our thoughts, into beliefs?

What shapes our ideas of the world more than anything else?

The Media for one, and our upbringing and cultures also influence the way we think..  But our Main stream news, keeps us informed, or so we think!.. It may interest us to learn it can also omit and twist facts that suit.

The theme for this post started for this week when I visited my Friends Blog World Metamorphosis   Vision Keeper, whose post Here made it refreshingly clear how our mainstream news reporters were not always telling it like it is.. I say refreshingly, because at last individuals are waking up and daring to put them selves out there to expose what has been happening via our main stream news.

This was backed up again when Paul over at Learning from Dogs  posted this article entitled Indonesia – another example of kakistocracy? I was pleased Paul provided the explanation of what the word Kakistocracy meant.. Meaning “government by the worst persons; a form of government in which the worst persons are in power.”

Paul featured an article written by George Monbiot who writes for The Guardian whose article in full can be read HERE  as he slates his own reporting profession saying as I take a quote from Pauls post as he had permission to republish..

I’ve often wondered how the media would respond when eco-apocalypse struck. I pictured the news programmes producing brief, sensational reports, while failing to explain why it was happening or how it might be stopped. Then they would ask their financial correspondents how the disaster affected share prices, before turning to the sport. As you can probably tell, I don’t have an ocean of faith in the industry for which I work.

What I did not expect was that they would ignore it.

A great tract of the Earth is on fire. It looks as you might imagine hell to be. The air has turned ochre: visibility in some cities has been reduced to 30 metres. Children are being prepared for evacuation in warships; already some have choked to death. Species are going up in smoke at an untold rate. It is almost certainly the greatest environmental disaster of the 21st Century – so far.”

While I knew there had been fires in Indonesia, I had not known to the extent those fires raged, or the levels of death and destruction that is literally suffocating whole communities, So please go and read the report and Paul’s post in full.. It is devastating. And while this happens the Media’s headlines are on Football, and the  James Bond Film..

On a Good Note how ever about the environment, I read over on Lois’s blog the Eco Grandma on her Good News Monday Post  that President Obama has rejected the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline,  now that has got to be good news, and isn’t it great when you see synchronicity working yet again I clicked the link to Earth Baby’s Website  and read her article on  Religious Leaders Call for Climate Justice   And to round off this theme nicely, As I opened my emails this morning I was delighted to find another one confirming the Good news from the Keystone XL Tar sands pipeline.. Although I live in the UK.. I am passionate about our environment, and the link that came with that news update shares with us another important date we can all help by adding our voice to this petition when world leaders meet in Paris in December later this year  all it requires is a click..

What amazed me was that while I lay awake last night thinking of Pauls Post.. Just how today all of these links came in and all in one way or another were related..

We are ALL of us responsible for our environment…

We are ONE

As a footnote.. I just wish to thank all of you for your support and welcome new subscribers to my blog.. While this post is looking at the serious side of our environmental issues, we each can all do our part in helping heal our own piece of it..

 Each of us CAN make a Difference  in looking after Nature and our Environment where we live..  We owe it to our Grandchildren .. It is not someone else’s problem  But Ours.. 

We are ONE
