A Sanctuary for Enlightenment and Peace through Poetry and Inspirational Thoughts as we go through Life

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker

Hey Sue 🙂
Knowing how much you savour the raw beauty of Scotland, it is not difficult to imagine from where your inspiration was drawn – those hours lost to dream find expression in your wonderful painting. It is vibrant with beauty, radiant with colour, alive and breathing new life.
(Comparing this to the last version) there is no doubt your decision to ‘let go and start over’ has been fruitful and (I imagine) personally rewarding.
I’d like to hope you’ll get it framed and give it pride of place in one of your newly decorated rooms? 😉
So pleased you posted an update! Perhaps you’ll be inspired to paint more.
Love and Peace,
DN

Many thanks dear Dewin, indeed, the painting was in part inspired from Scotland’s beautiful Highlands. The Eagle. or birds of Prey, a favourite bird of mine which has been part of my Totem Journey, which shows itself every now and again in the form of Buzzards or Sparrow Hawks..
The painting is hanging, along with the hedgehog I painted in our granddaughters room when she stays over.. 🙂

Pleasure Sue, thank you for posting 🙂
I knew Scotland had somehow inspired.
I think you’ve chosen your subject matter very well and positioned them in your home with careful consideration. Your granddaughter must be thrilled 🙂
Happy painting,
DN

Then the Eagle as symbol of power, strength, guidance and wisdom will undoubtedly protect and keep her gently within the fold of her mighty wing. ‘Tis a statement expressing the love you have for her as much the manner in which she cherishes you. Family matriarch is indeed a responsible humour.
Love and Peace,

Yes, its a totem of mine and she is surprisingly intuitive herself.. And we discussed it will protect her in her dreams. 🙂
Love and Peace returned dear Dewin. 🙂
